Won't be going back, she messed up ordering an extra blood test for my son when he already passed the previous one because she didn't check her charts before making the order. And she scheduled a blood draw for his 18 month appointment for reasons I don't know why but we're not going back. Plus my child does not like her and she can be quite judgmental about personal parenting choices like when to potty train. She is also dismissive of questions and concerns. She does wear a mask at every appointment which could be why my child finds her a bit scary and nothing against her choosing to wear a mask, but I personally don't like the mask at every appointment because children seeing masks is not good for their emotional development or language skills as they need to see people's mouths for both. Overall, very unhappy both times I went to see her. read more

I went to see doctor England for the first time yesterday ... which is 2 days after I brought my newborn home from the hospital. Linh England is an amazing doctor. Amazing bedside manners. I asked her a bunch of questions and she knew exactly what was going on before I could even finish my sentences. She even read the current history for my son during his stay at the hospital. She knew what shots and treatments he was given! I didn't have to update her with anything!! Before the appointment, my sons umbilical cord came off and I was very paranoid. She told me not to worry, and not to clean it with anything. Just to let it dry. Then she recommended me to start tummy time with my son! How awesome!! I also busted out my phone with a list of questions such as his jaundice situation, his tiny stork bite, etc. Overall, the doc saw me quick and easy. This is all during the corona virus pandemic too! She even told me to ask her questions online via my chart if anything comes up! Now I can visit the doctor virtually! Haha how awesome! Pick this doctor. You won't go wrong! I've been through a lot of pediatricians and I finally found one I really like! She was great with my 4-year old daughter and managed to make her smile in spite of feeling pretty lousy as she had a temperature and a bad case of the pink-eye. She was able to re-assure her so she wasn't so scared. Dr Nguyen took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything thoroughly. She also told me to call her in a few days if my daughter's condition does not improve. As part of my daughter's medical history, I explained my concerns regarding vaccination due to a bad experience previously. She understood my concerns and was willing to work with me on a delayed vaccination schedule. I'm so pleased to find a pediatrician that really seems to listen to the parents rather than just dictating medical advice. Like the other reviews, Dr. Nguyen is fantastic!! My wife and I and have a week old baby girl and we were so nervous about finding a good doctor. First thing I did was I pulled up yelp! We saw the wonderful reviews below and her office was so close to our home. We absolutely love taking our daughter to see her. Dr. Nguyen is SO gentle. She takes her time and isn't tossing our child around like some of the nurses in the delivery room! I know those nurses do that day in and day out, but for those who haven't been around a baby (me) it freaked me out! She's very genuine. By that I mean there are those doctors who cruise in and say, "hello, mmhmm, ok, ok, I see..." but it doesn't feel like they care. Dr. Nguyen listens very carefully to our concerns (and we've got a ton being new parents) and addresses each and every one of them. We had a list and she walked us through them all! She would add suggestions and give us reassurance. We look forward to coming here and know that she'll take great care of our daughter. Also, the facility is superb! I don't know how old it is, but everything seems brand new. They have an online portal system that allows us to set appointments and we can post questions to her and her team (which they answer throughout the day). It's so easy to find and there is a ton of parking available. If you're unsure about a pediatrician and are hesitant about finding someone online, PLEASE do yourself a favor and give her and her team a chance. You'll be thankful you did. Just give them a call and they'll let you know right away of which insurers and insurance plans they accept. read more

I was looking for a pediatric dr for my son I found this dr on yelp and decided to give it shot due to her 5 start but I regret. There not on top of things they don't return calls. They didn't even realize that my sons bday date was wrong on the chart so wen I call to see what was going on they couldn't even find my son on the stream due to his bday being wrong. We were forced to switch pediatricians, since we switched insurance carriers. (From Kaiser to anthem). I loved our pediatrician at Kaiser and took my time finding a new pediatrician for my daughter . Dr. Nguyen was a last ditch effort for us after my daughter's pediatrician office (from birth to 4 1/2) suddenly stopped taking our insurance. I relied on Yelp reviews and the office promising to take our insurance (fewer and more far between with our horrible insurance than it used to be). Dr. Nguyen had huge shoes to fill. We ADORE our baby girl's previous pediatrician who understood so well our aversion to antibiotics in general, unless absolutely necessary and our insistence to have her treatment reasoning explained as well as fielding our 54,671 questions each visit. There's also the added anxiety that comes from being a two mom family, having to out ourselves and hoping people still want to work with us anyway. To the review: The office waiting room is clean and comfortable. The reception is busy but nice. If there was ONE criticism, I would have hoped for the desk people to be more outwardly friendly, even peppy. It's a pediatric area after all. But there was nothing wrong with them or their attitude. Just preference. Called into the room and was continually impressed with how quick things were moving and how incredibly clean it was. Also, equipment seems technologically up to date. The room had superheroes all over the walls which was somewhat entertaining to my just-turned-five-2-days-ago daughter. Man, she got in there quick. I don't know if it was because we were there for a highly contagious malady (hello, Pink Eye!) or if this is typical of the practice, but we're definitely not used to only waiting five mins max for a doctor. Especially one who takes time to explain things and answer questions. She didn't jump IMMEDIATELY to antibiotics. When you do research on the subject you can see how antibiotics have been so over prescribed. It's surprising how many medical professionals still throw antibiotics as first rather than last resort. In fact, though she did prescribe some, she had us try an OTC remedy first and told us not to use the antibiotics unless the other healing methods didn't work. She explained the whys behind what she was advising and didn't treat my questions like they were stupid. She was kind to my kid. This child was SO full of energy and I was having a hard time getting her to chill in bed and not touch stuff. Dr. Nguyen was great at telling her how important it was to stay in bed and rest. It actually helped me keep her down another day and a half. My daughter loved her! I brought up the 2 mom thing and asked if she would be willing to work with us. She told me she chose the LB location even though she lives much closer to an OC location because she LOVES working with all sorts of different families. She said there were several 2 mom and 2 dad (and other configurations) families within the practice and she would love to work with us. In summation, the entire experience from when we walked in to when we walked out was amazing. I was so nervous and apprehensive since we spent the last five years with a ped we love so much. But I can see us loving this one too. read more
