In all honesty if I can give her a negative one that she would get. My family member went down to see after her dress and Lynn would not allow her to see it. I felt like she was literally holding the dress hostage because she had gone past the time that she said she would have dressed ready and was not returning phone calls. When my family member went down there she immediately began attacking her verbally not allowing her to really speak and not allow her to see the dress and telling her that she needs to trust her. You know, I'm not one for bashing anyone let alone a local business, but i have to let other people know so that they can hopefully learn from my experience. I dropped my dress off to Linh 8 weeks in advanced. My first appointment was great. She was very personable and sweet. She took her time with me and gave me advice on what she would do and i had a lot of faith my dress was in great hands. About two weeks from my wedding date, i had not gotten a follow-up so I called to remind them i had a wedding date coming up and needed to have my dress done soon. They said no problem they will work on my dress and it would be ready. They had me come in about four days later for a fitting. The dress looked like it hardly been touched. I spent $700 to have this done and done the right way so I told Linh i needed it fixed, do you know she said no problem and went to the back for about 10 minutes and came back with my dress. She said she sewed something up and it was fixed. Long story short, my dress was never properly fixed and with a destination wedding days away i had to wear it as it was. Attached is a photo of what it looked like on my wedding day. The dress is very baggy in the front and looked like it wasn't trimmed at all toward the bottom. This was extremely disappointing. Thankfully, i know my angles and was able to take some great photos despite the huge mess that was created. My dress looked better before i took it then what it look like after, honestly. What a blessing it was finding Linh! For starters I wouldn't even have ended up with the dress of my dreams if it wasn't for Linh. After a tailor in Edmond completely butchered the first wedding dress I had purchased I went to Linh to make me a veil. She carefully explained to me and showed me with photos what the other lady had done and encouraged me to have her refund me for my alterations and pay me for the dress. Which I did and luckily she did. Because of her advice I was able to go out and purchase another dress (which I ended up loving even more) and I then took it to Linh to alter. I knew it was in good hands. She shortened the sleeves, added a thin belt and buttons up the back and hemmed the length and added a bustle. Make sure to give her plenty of time before your event because she is a very busy lady. She has years of experience and her work was flawless and worth every penny! I went to Linh to have a wedding dress made for my 4/25/2020 date. First meeting was in October 2019, I picked out lace, showed some inspo pics, paid my deposit. December came, I decided to pay off my dress because I wanted to support her business and had all the faith in the world in her (big mistake). I also hoped to see what she had done so far on my dress, nada... ok not a big deal. **intermission on this review-if you are a people pleaser and don't like conflict DO NOT COME HERE, I will take some blame in this, I should've demanded the dress I paid for and hounded her til I got what I wanted, although 3 days before the wedding doesn't leave much time to fix some issues** So I come back in February to check on the progress and have a dress made for my mother, mind you she has never once reached out to me during this time, and she tells me she has the lace cut but wouldn't let me see it. Ok... Covid hits and the state shuts down in March, I'm freaked out obviously and trying to figure out what to do about my wedding and still heard nothing about my dress at this point. April, I reach out to her about a date change but I really want my dress, still haven't even seen it! (7 months later). At this point she is just gaslighting me into not picking up my dress-but she says she will just send a pic. I get the photo, pretty dress but not my lace or cut. I tell her it's not mine and she informs me (due to covid) she didn't get my lace and changed it cause 'her clients trust her'. and something about a hem I wanted(no clue there).. I'm floored. I didn't even recognize my own custom made dress, lol She never called to tell me the situation-and on my February visit said the lace was cut?? WHO CHANGES A DRESS WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE BRIDE (I don't buy her excuse since I ordered this dress in October) To mend the situation she says she'll make another for my new July 11th date. I'm super nervous but can't speak up for myself so I just decided to give her a second chance. I finally see the dress end of June and fit wasn't right but lace was right so guess that's a win? I was just happy to have something to wear at that point. Asked for top to be let out and back to be more fitted with buttons down the bottom (as was discussed before and in inspo pics) she says sure and I come back the next week and again, underwhelmed(3 days before my wedding). All she did was cut the bottom length. Added 4 buttons, not fitted, and the whole thing felt rushed and so did I. Lol So after 9 months I finally saw my dress... long story short don't recommend. Her work is good which is what makes this review hard, but I'm sorry, you cannot run a business this way. I don't know if she just didn't like my vision, or literally forgot what I ordered? (The only form for her to reference is a doodle in her notebook so who knows). Either way, I was not demanding, rude, or overbearing. I was the opposite of those things, so if you are like me, avoid at all costs. read more

I took my dress in 2 months before my wedding. I called 2 weeks prior to it, she said she would call, and i heard nothing. I panicked and called 4 days before my wedding, She told me she would have it done Wednesday, when I am getting married Thursday. I couldn't pick up unless it was Monday or Tuesday (seemed fair to me) because of wedding Rehearsal and travel. With that being said, I got my dress and took it to someone who had it done in 2 days, and charged half the price. My dress hadn't even been touched. I'll give her 2 stars because she was very kind, knew what she was doing, but she failed on doing her part knowing that a brides wedding week is VERY stressful! If she couldn't get it done in time, she should have been truthful and turned down my business. I don't use Yelp, but I'm hoping to save someone from a wedding week night mare like mine. All is well, i got my dress, but save yourself some trouble and do your research. read more

RED FLAG * NO COMMUNICATION! I took my wedding dress in for alterations and was promised it would be completed within 8 to 10 weeks unless notified. After 11 weeks, I emailed twice with no response, I then went into the store to check on where my dress was in the alteration production, she was rude, told me my dress was fine and she would call me in an hour and walked away leaving me alone in the store! Four hours later she did call, only to tell me she needed 4 more weeks! I agreed, and it was ready 5 weeks later! Linh did NOT do everything we agreed upon; however, she didn't charge me for additional bling added to my dress! Also, I referred a friend to her for alterations on her wedding dress, to make a long story short, my friend had to pick up her untouched dress six days before her wedding and had to take it to a different alterations shop that had it done in TWO days for half the cost! Linh did do a good job, IF you want to leave your dress for SIX MONTHS! I was fortunate that I took my dress for alterations for a wedding taking place in September 2018 and I had the extra time! I will NEVER use or recommend this place again! read more

Amazing quality work but horrible service! I was told my dress would take 4-6 weeks...no word from them so I called and was given a new estimate(A MONTH LATER), again no word and this continued for 5 MONTHS!!!! I called panicked about a week and a half before my destination wedding and luckily they overnighted it to Colorado! It was horribly wrinkled and had to be professionally done along with cleaned since I was lied to and told they would do it when altering.... I called to get an appology or refund and nota! Please do not tell your customers you will do something you don't plan on doing and if you aren't going to do it give them time to have it done elsewhere w/o paying a rush fee on top of it all!!!!! They had excuse after excuse and it kills me to write a bad review Bc the alterations were wonderful but they treated me poorly! All I was to them was another check! So disappointed! read more

Linh and her husband are absolutely AMAZING! I ordered my dress from a bridal store and decided not to get it altered through that store. My husband and I decided to elope and I only had 3 months to find somewhere to get my dress altered before we left Oklahoma. My sister in law recommended me to Linh and I am so grateful to have gone with Linh. I was so worried that my dress wouldn't get done on time or that whoever did the alterations wouldn't do a good job. Linh blew my expectations away. I met with her to take her my dress about two months before my wedding and told her what all I wanted done. She was so sweet and made me feel so much better about leaving my dress with her. Called and made an appointment to have a bridesmaid dress altered. They told me they would call me in 2 or 3 weeks and noted that I would need the dress ready in 4 weeks time - they said no problem. After 2 weeks passed, i started getting worried that I hadn't heard from them. I called and left a voicemail which they promptly returned and said to come in anytime after Monday to pick it up. I drove from Edmond on the following Friday during my lunch break and was told they hadn't gotten to my dress yet - but would start it now and needed an hour. Obviously annoyed (since my dress should have been done a week ago, I was given the OK to come pick it up 5 days ago, and I just drove 30 minutes here, now have to wait an hour and drive 30 minutes back), i had to stay close by and wait for the dress to be completed. I needed a hem, the lace work adjusted, and the bust taken in. When i returned for the dress, the hem and the lace work was great - it absolutely was not taken in on the bust. She removed this charge from the bill and gave me an additional 15% off. She was very apologetic for my trouble and the inconvenience. Still came to about $50 (rather than the initial $90 she had quoted me which seemed crazy). Ended up having to bring it to a second tailor local to the wedding to be altered again. Based on my experience, I would not use Linh's for alterations again. read more

After having my wedding dress massacred by the seamstress at a popular bridal shop in OKC, I was referred to Linh, with Alterations by Linh. With my wedding one month out, Linh was able to get me in for a consultation super last minute, to look at my wedding dress. After putting my wedding dress on for her, she could quickly see how horribly it had been altered and assured me she would be able to fix it. Not only did she take out/take in the areas where my dress had been altered incorrectly, she made other changes I had wanted...for example, took the straps off and made it with a sweetheart neckline as well as added a beautiful sash. On top of everything, she did all this work for $200 less than other bridal shop seamstress did it for. I was shocked as to how reasonable she was priced...I couldn't believe she was charging me less to do the job right and I'd already thrown away so much money to have the dress butchered. I would recommend Linh to anyone! She also makes beautiful wedding and bridesmaid's dresses in her shop. In the end, I would have to say it turned out to be a blessing as Linh gave me exactly what I wanted in my wedding dress. I just wish I would have brought it to her from the beginning and never had the other lady alter anything on my dress. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They won't respond to emails or calls and they don't honor their own deadlines. I went in to have Linh do my wedding gown alterations. The appointment was pleasant enough but she said she would send me an estimate for the charges within a day or so. A week later I hadn't received the invoice so I emailed and asked for the invoice. (In what world does the customer have to chase down the business owner to pay them?!) I never received a response. I waited three more weeks before I contacted them again, asking for my invoice so I could make sure to approve the charges and they could get to work. Linh's husband told me I would have the invoice within a day. THREE DAYS LATER, I STILL did not have the invoice so I called again. He finally sent it at that point, I told him I was leery of his business now and wan't sure I even wanted them to do the work since I had a limited amount of time before my wedding and his lack of communication was a red flag to me. He told me everything would be fine, not to worry, and they would have it done by March 31 at the latest. April 1st came and I still had not heard from them so I went in to the store. They started by saying "we've been trying to contact you for your fitting, everything is done and we've just been waiting for you to come in." Yes, they lied straight to my face because I had not received one phone call or email. I told them i'd be happy to do the fitting then and there but they said they were too busy at the time. Yeah, right. They asked me to come back in a few days. I said no, you said my dress would be ready by March 31st, it's a day after that, you said you would contact me if the timeline changed, you haven't so let me see the dress. They hemmed and hawed looking around the store, acting like they were having trouble finding it. Finally they brought it out and again begged me to come back in a few days so I could do the fitting, all the while still promising the dress was ready. I finally grabbed my dress and pulled the bag off of it to see that the alterations HADN'T EVEN BEEN STARTED!!! Three months, and they hadn't so much as taken the bag off of it. I told them how dare they lie straight to my face saying 1) the dress is done and 2) that they had been calling me and trying to schedule the fitting. At this point I told them I no longer trusted them with my dress, that they had wasted three months of my time just letting it sit in their shop, and I would be going elsewhere. At this point Linh followed me to my car and even stood between me and my door refusing to get out of the way so that I could close the door and drive away. All the while crying and saying she was so sorry that they lied, they would get it done within a day (who wants sloppy alterations made within a day????) and that it was all because her father in law had died and normally they are great with their customers (which doesn't at all explain why I had so much trouble with them to begin with). I have no doubt in my mind that Linh does great alterations, but I wouldn't actually know since these horrible people held my dress for three months, lied to me, didn't even being my alterations, and eventually I had to buy a completely different dress for my wedding day since no other places had the time to alter it. Is your wedding dress worth the risk??? Oh, and if anyone would like to see the emails Linh's husband sent me after I drove away that day, still claiming they did nothing wrong, that I was being impatient, that they never lied and that I completely overreacted to my dress not being finished or even started after three months, i'd love to share. read more

I would NEVER recommend Linh's Bridal for a custom wedding dress. I came in almost 6 months before my wedding and had a consultation with Linh. After a preliminary drawing and discussion of color, lace, beading etc. I felt confident that she understood my vision and would make the dress of my dreams. After that initial appointment, things began to fall apart. She ordered the wrong color for my bridesmaid dresses, then proceeded to make the dresses in the wrong color anyway even though my bridal gown wasn't completed. I was originally told the dress would be ready the end of april, it wasn't ready until the end of the first week of may. And it was WRONG. She used the wrong lace, beading and neckline. Two weeks before my wedding she had to REMAKE the dress. It still wasn't right. It didn't fit, the straps began coming apart at the seam BEFORE I walked down the aisle, and the dress wasn't even hemmed because she cut it too short!!! Not only that, she charged more than we had already paid for subpar incomplete work. It was a horrific experience and I would not recommend her to anyone. read more
