It was a dream vacation and thanks to the helps of the owners at AsiaLuxe Holidays who have lived in Japan and booked us into a Japanese Ryokan Hotel for the whole japanese experience. They handled our air tkts and rail passes too. We had an expert guide in Kyoto for the duration of our trip who took us to fabulous restaurants, shrines and japanese gardens. Viewing the cheery blossom trees at night at the Nijo Castle and Gion Quarters was icing on the cake! In the…read morebooking process I never received updates or my itinerary until the last minute and only because I requested the information. Our travel agent "Monica" reassured us that everything was well coordinated and that we would be greeted at the airport upon arrival. After a 16 hour flight ..this did NOT happen. Losing confidence in our travel agent we were forced to confirm pick up and arrival times of every excursion we had booked. This was very time consuming and stressful. Dubai is a beautiful place to visit, I just wish our vacation had been more stress free.

This was one of the most stressful travel experiences I've ever had…read more After a 16-hour international flight, our group of four women arrived in Dubai late at night expecting a scheduled airport pickup. No one was there. No sign. No instructions. No communication. We walked the airport asking staff and drivers using the company names we were given and no one recognized them. The "emergency" phone number provided was useless. No one answered. The hotel tried to help and eventually told us to take a taxi. We only found our shuttle because a random tour guide took pity on us and located it on the opposite side of the airport with no signage. Only then did we learn the shuttle company was Mapa a name never disclosed to us. At the hotel, we discovered our reservation was under another completely different company name ("Rida"). None of this was communicated in advance. All bookings were placed under my name alone, even though all four travelers paid separately. Because of this incompetence, we spent the entire trip anxious that our prepaid tours and even our return airport transfer might not happen. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially for international travel and late-night arrivals. Dubai itself was amazing, but this company turned the start of our trip into a confusing and unsafe situation. I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Long Beach Convention Center is the perfect spot for it as there are plenty of parking nearby. The building is spacious. They had rows and rows of vendors. They probably could've added more as it was huge. I did the 2 day FAM-TAS pass which included the show, sessions for travel agents, and lunch. They did a fun little punch card where you had to visit the vendors. Once you're done filling it out they raffle some great prizes from the vendors. The prizes were amazing. The lunches were provided by tour groups like Exoticca. Even if I did not come as a travel agent, this is a great convention for anyone who is looking to travel. The vendors were giving out great gifts. The options are vast. The maps of the entire convention was clear. I will definitely be back!

As for us, we love traveling to Japan and after being there twice already, we learned of more places to visit while there next time! We also visited a coffee plantation and did a hike up Volcano Pacaya, where we had an opportunity to feel the heat under the fresh lava rocks and roast some marshmallows....on a volcano! I'm telling you...amazing stuff here. Of course, visiting the Mayan sites of Tikal, Yaxha and Ximche was fascinating. The crazy part of it all is that I had been to several of these places that we visited once before by myslef, but seeing them with Guatemalan natives and a passionate tour guide who knows every historical fact and detail of what you are seeing makes for a truly unparalleled, authentic travel experience. My friend recommended this company to me. She booked her honeymoon to Hawaii at very good price…read more She said it was mush lower than expedia but my vacation package to Cancun was not that dramatically low because we dicided to go last minute. There were not even many hotel rooms left when I searched up online. Jin is very patient and tries to help us as best as she can. We finally picked Secrets Maroma Beach resort out of 10 different rersorts that she carefully recommended. When we arrived at the resort, it was way better than the pictures and so beautiful. But we ended up with disappointed view which was the most important to me. I called Jin at midnight in LA time and complained about that. She immediately called the hotel and gave us free upgrade to ocean view room. What we booked was partial ocean view room that is $150 cheaper than ocean view room per night. What a grateful service it is! All the staff there treated us as vips during our stay, we had the best vacation ever. I really appreciate Jin and highly recommend vactionclub4u to people who just look for air and hotel packages to Mexico and Hawaii. I have been using many other travel agencies in Korea town but they mostly pissed me off but this company is very honest and sincere. We will definitely use vacationclub4u again soon.
