Man have we been sleeping on this hidden gem! My husband loves sushi and I hate sushi and we both equally loved this place. Everything we had was delicious. He loved his sushi roll (shooting star) and we shared yakisoba and I had the beef teriyaki dinner plate everything was good and even the free app they give u and the free dessert. We will be adding this to our must have list for dinner when we go out now. Glad to have found a spot in the high desert worth the price and hype. read more

Nope nope and nooope the people are rude and you get very little food for what you pay.... and when you mention it there really rude I'm going to Poke across the street over by Starbucks their food is fabulous .... you get a bunch it's fresh and authentic and it's delicious with his sauces they definitely feed you and their boba drinks over there are amazing..... Great sushi! The shooting star #46 is my favorite it's spicy shrimp tempura roll with tuna and avocado top with ponzu, eel sauce, spicy mayo, green onion and masago. I also had the shrimp fried rice and it was the best I've ever had! The service was excellent too! read more

Absolutely love their food.. service is really good.. But today 8/9/2022 took my family 5 of us... Bill $200.. my wife got the salmon salad for $18... she asked for the salmon cooked... At the end of my bill they added $5 dollars to BAKE my wife's salmon. WTF Me and my wife addressed this to staff and sushi chief/supervisor. That this was not cool. Nothing was ever told to me about an extra $5 for my meat cooked.. I told them do you change your customs extra for well done steak without their knowledge???? Bad business consumers beware. This place was great! Be ready to wait about 10-15 minutes before you're sat down. Take that time to look over the menu and get you order ready Because once you sit down they start taking your order and can have it served in a couple minutes. It all came really fast. I think they don't like to pack the place and get the sushi chefs and waiters backed up and overworked resulting in low quality food and service Once you sit down these chefs are ready to make your meal because your the next order they have in front of them and the food comes quick. Servers are very rude... Went there today for lunch and our server hardly came and checked on us to see if we needed anything. I then had a black hair in my sushi roll (keep in mind me and my boyfriend are BLONDE so it was not our hair!) and told a waitress about it and she said oh "what roll is this" I then told her what the roll was and she just said oh sorry about that and then gave us our check. Like you're not going to try and work something out with me considering I had a whole black hair in my roll that I couldn't even finish that I STILL had to pay for. I don't think anyone would want to eat anything with hair in it nor still have to pay for it after. Jeez! I will not be coming back here! read more

Sushi selection is off-the-hook. Prices are much lower than LA. Service is exceptional. I came here Christmas day from a Big Bear trip. My Beef Teriyaki was delicious--thinly sliced with just the right amount of marinade. The tempura was crunchy and fresh. They brought green tea ice cream, on-the-house. Don't understand the negative reviews. They must not know how to order sushi and don't know what they like. I've eaten sushi all over Hawaii, North and South nevada and North and South California. This place is the best in the HD and is up there with the best. Know what fish, sauce, ingredients etc. you prefer and what combos you prefer. It's not rocket science. I didn't like the egg rolls and the meat was over cooked. I liked the free appetizer and the free ice cream afterwards. The servers need some education. This place is overpriced and I didn't think their rolls were generous. Why do people like to haunt this spot? Sister said she spent the most here out of any sushi restaurant she's been ever, and their food is not any better than Love Soya Sushi or Oasis Sushi which were here going way back into the 90's. They're also generous with price and portions there. Our go-to spots for sushi cravings: Love Soya Sushi (few blocks from Linko's) and Oasis (Soya) Sushi. Hands down the best!! I really enjoy going to Linko Sushi. They have cuts of fish that very few places carry like blue fin toro!! They have multiple sushi chefs (4) and 3 or more servers. This makes tue service great and the food arrives very quickly. Also, they have such style and beautiful presentation with their food. There is a great variety on the menu including tempura, udon, ramen, many types of rolls, sushi, sashimi, sake, beer, and wine. Our place for the Short Rib Bento Box. Totally worth it for what you get. You can also get Chicken or Beef too. Less expensive. Everything so delicious and filling. We always have leftovers to take home. It's included with Miso soup at the beginning and a "sweet surprise at the end". Only other thing we used to get were Japanese peppers appetizer. Sushi is definitely delicious but it's over priced as well. The service needs to be better for sure. We got our sushi dropped off and servers immediately walked away quickly before we can ask for ginger, when they finally came back around we asked for ginger and wasabi and were given a few tiny pieces of ginger and dime sizes of wasabi. Then asked for eel sauce and was given a low stare. Definitely delicious food, but service needs some improvement and quantities of ginger and condiments could be better as well because if I'm expected to pay $20 a roll, at least give enough condiments and check in with customers more frequently. read more

I absolutely love this Sushi spot! Its my favorite sushi spot in the high desert. I warn you, it is a little pricey than other sushi spots but it is worth it! They do get busy on the weekends as expected, it usually takes 50+ minutes for orders to be ready compared to the usual 25-30 minues. My favorite roll is the Sakura roll, I also love the baked salmon roll and the spicy edamame!! I wish I uploaded more pics but I always forget to take pictures as I just rush to eat my sushi thats how GOOD it is! I recommend this place 100% again just be aware that there might be a wait time as it is busy because they are good! read more

My partner and I were looking for some late night ramen and we found this restaurant. While the customer service was okay, the Spicy Chicken Ramen bowls we got were abysmal. If you have ever had authentic Japanese ramen before, this isn't it. It was very apparent the noodle used was one of those packaged noodles you can find from Walmart, even the proportion is telling that it was from one package. I thought okay, sucks but whatever, hoping the rest of the ingredients is redeeming. No. The chicken was dry, clearly it was cooked from frozen or was not properly thawed because there was ZERO moisture. FYI adding dry chicken to a soup does not magically make the meat tender and moist. My fault I'm just mad this POS costed $15 for some subpar meal. We didn't get sushi, so maybe the quality will be better there. Otherwise, the "ramen" was disappointing. read more
