My wife and I love this place for lunch. Best price best sushi in town. The sisters that run the place are very friendly. They have best lunch combo special. You can pick 2,3,or 4 item combo.

I stopped by here to order some sushi for takeout. I ordered two California rolls and a Las Vegas roll. The lady who took my order told me it would be about 25-30 mins but I waited 45 mins. They weren't very busy so I couldn't understand what took so long. I wasn't a fan of the Las Vegas roll after I got it. The inside is small and could probably only fit a handful of people. The customer service was good, they were all really friendly. If you're ordering takeout I would definitely recommend calling ahead of time (if that's an option) so you aren't waiting 45 mins to an hour. Next time I come back I'd probably order dine in.

First time coming here and it did not disappoint! Their sushi is fresh and delicious. I ordered the Baked popcorn roll and one other I sadly forgot the name of-- blame my 9 month preggo brain. The wait staff were friendly and very attentive. The interior was small but very clean. All in all, will definitely come back again.

This is my go to local sushi spot. There's plenty of parking if you don't mind walking a few parking spaces. The place is small, but people are in and out. The 2 ladies that work there really make it fun to eat here. They are always up beat and have funny comments. The food is ready in minutes and the taste is on par. I haven't had any of the raw stuff as it's not my preference , but the rolls are fire!! My personal favorites are the sexy lady roll, monster roll and monkey brains. If you like spice, you'll like the first 2 I mentioned. The dust hasn't changed, lol, but it doesn't stop me either. Check it out, it's worth a try.

My friend & I ordered food from this place, but we didn't stay. We called at 7:30pm & the food was ready within less than 15 minutes. The lady who helped was super kind & funny. Like I said we didn't stay to eat, but the restaurant is very pretty & clean!! Very well kept This was our first time here so we decided to be safe & go w/ a California Roll, but I'll definitely be coming back for something else since it was so delicious!! Also appreciate how she let us know clearly which one didn't have cucumber!

By far one of my favorite sushi places in the high desert. The staff is great and the inside is cozy. This place is a must go to.

I ordered the BBQ Chicken Teriyaki and the ramen noodles. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Sushi Aru to anyone looking for a delicious meal!

We've stopped at Samurai Sushi several times over the years while driving between Las Vegas and…read moreSouthern California, and the food has always been good enough to bring us back. Unfortunately, this visit felt very different. We arrived around noon, and the restaurant was completely empty. They had several TVs, so I asked if they could put on the World Cup. Our waitress declined, explaining that when games are on, customers tend to stay long after they've finished eating. While I understand that may be their policy, it didn't feel very customer-friendly, especially with no other patrons in the restaurant. I also asked if there was an outlet where I could charge my phone. When we found a nearby table with a wall plug, I asked if we could switch tables since we'd only been served water. The waitress said it would be "too confusing for the system" because our orders had already been placed, despite the restaurant being empty. She did offer to charge my phone from an outlet in the hallway, which I appreciated. I asked if they had a few of our favorite sushi items--things like a Las Vegas roll, Orange Blossom roll, or salmon collar (all very common at sushi restaurants back home in Las Vegas). The response seemed more confused than helpful, and overall the interaction just didn't feel very welcoming. On the positive side, they brought out complimentary shishito peppers and radish as an appetizer, which was a nice touch. My daughter really enjoyed the salmon teriyaki, and we also liked the chicken teriyaki roll. At the end of the meal, we had to flag someone down for our check and for to-go boxes while the staff was busy cleaning tables. We were handed a wet plastic bag to pack up our leftovers, which was an odd way to end the experience. Overall, the food was better than the customer service. We'd still consider stopping again because the food is decent, but we hope the hospitality improves. A more welcoming attitude would go a long way.

No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.
