Today was my first time at Yoshi's Japanese Cuisine and I had a lovely experience. The waiter was super nice and accommodating! The food was very good! The "all you can eat" pricing was reasonable as well. I will definitely be back :) Also, I read the comments and I am sure people must know that not all spicy mayos look the same!

We had ordered some nigiri and were met with a ball of rice underneath the thin piece of salmon. It was a ridiculous amount! We can always do two rounds when we go to other AYCE restaurants but we couldn't even finish round 1 from the heaping amount of rice that was used. The salmon was low quality as well and just made us feel nauseous leaving from here. Also, we ordered a baked scallop roll and there were about 4 pieces of scallops and it was cold. Lastly, we ordered a chicken teriyaki meal for our son and guess what we had a mountain of rice and about 2 tablespoons of chicken.

Service: I was very pleased with the service I received, didn't really have to reach out to the staff for anything. They seemed to check in at the right moments and I love that. Restaurant was clean and they were well staffed. Food: Really good and rolls were bigger than most sushi restaurants. Conclusion: I will be back, I usually go to the location in Victorville but this Hesperia location is very good and I really liked their portioning.

Great selection of food here! Starting with a miso soup, add a little sriracha and it's a top notch bowl of soup. The service is always wonderful and quick. It's easy to grab a table and I've never left had to wait at lunch but have not visited at dinner time. I'd love to sit here and try more off of the menu. The atmosphere is generic and not clean yet but they have a good amount of seating. The hi desert special is a great assortment of items and comes with miso soup and an appetizer. I have a shellfish allergy and they are attentive to making sure I'm okay if it's fried in the same oil and I am lucky that I can say yes. I appreciate their concern each time. They gyoza is wonderful and fried to perfection, the paired sauce is tasty and a complimentary to the gyoza. The 911 roll is probably my favorite. But honestly there's a lot of great choices for all sushi lovers. The heart attack has two options available one with just spicy tuna, which is what I enjoy or a mixed fish option. I would love this in the high desert special but that has mixed fish only and they do not allow any substitutions besides the request for soy paper which I prefer. The fish is fresh and I have not experienced any after meal stomach issues after eating here.

The food here is delicious! And the price for all you can eat Sushi is good! I've been to other places that charge much more. We were here during lunch hours so price was considerably less. They have what is called a dynamite roll and heart attack oh wow these two had to be my favorite! They were very very good! The Ice green tea had a different flavor to it but still okay. I would definitely recommend eating here. It is a small place so I'd make reservations if they are allowed.

Service is okay. But this is the 3rd time I order and they skimp out on the chicken teriyaki! So stingy, the other yoshi is not like this. And the sushi roll I ordered tasted funny. Idk why I keep going back.

This apparently is their 'spicy mayo' .

I'm surprised to see positive reviews, it makes me wonder if theyre real reviews or paid for reviews. Who knows. but The food sucked, the service made it all so much worse. I think my boyfriend hates it more than me, he was pretty pissed at our experience here. I asked him how many stars I should rate and he said "0 if possible". I shared a picture, but their "spicy mayo" looked, extremely questionable. And they charged us for it. It was by far the grossest spicy mayo I've had. I don't even know what that was. But it was gross. We ordered a caterpillar roll, had no eel sauce on it. It was dry and plain. When asked for elk sauce on the side (charged me) it was extremely watery. So they clearly water down their sauces. Cheap and gross. We showed up 4 minutes before happy hour started, the server had "ask" the manager if we could still get the happy hour prices.... She had the worst energy. The place was dirty. The manager was just standing there watching everyone eat, seemed liked she couldn't wait for everyone to leave, not just our table. A "kids drink" is an adult cup. So that sucked for my toddler. It was a mess. It was expensive in the end. We usually go to Yoshi sushi off kentwood in Victorville by the courthouse. (Highly recommended) That's our go-to sushi place. After this experience here we will probably give up trying new spots. I wouldn't go here. Drive alittle longer and try the Yoshi sushi off the Kentwood exit.

Had delivery via DoorDash and may not have applied the sauces as intended but this was incredible. The variety of fresh fish was delectable and comparable to the best sushi I've had anywhere else. The salad was intended as an appetizer but could have easily been the entirety of my meal. The salmon soft, clean, and extremely scrumptious, all other ingredients fantastic compliments, this dish is an easy 10 of 10. Highly recommend Yoshi for anyone looking to have a fantastic experience!!!

Yoshi, finally a place to grab sushi in the area not from Von's or Stater Brothers. I like the location the associates are friendly the food came out promptly. Besides being fresh and good service I find the sushi rolls much larger than those at Von's and grocery store. I will say that they were fat rolls, however if my hand skill is to blame I'll take it, however a couple of my dragon rolls fell apart as I tried to left them off the plate, other than that everything was great. And I love the real crab substitute option makes a huge difference!

Unfortunately, this visit felt very different. We arrived around noon, and the restaurant was completely empty. They had several TVs, so I asked if they could put on the World Cup. Our waitress declined, explaining that when games are on, customers tend to stay long after they've finished eating. While I understand that may be their policy, it didn't feel very customer-friendly, especially with no other patrons in the restaurant. I also asked if there was an outlet where I could charge my phone. When we found a nearby table with a wall plug, I asked if we could switch tables since we'd only been served water. The waitress said it would be "too confusing for the system" because our orders had already been placed, despite the restaurant being empty. She did offer to charge my phone from an outlet in the hallway, which I appreciated. I asked if they had a few of our favorite sushi items--things like a Las Vegas roll, Orange Blossom roll, or salmon collar (all very common at sushi restaurants back home in Las Vegas). The response seemed more confused than helpful, and overall the interaction just didn't feel very welcoming. On the positive side, they brought out complimentary shishito peppers and radish as an appetizer, which was a nice touch. My daughter really enjoyed the salmon teriyaki, and we also liked the chicken teriyaki roll. At the end of the meal, we had to flag someone down for our check and for to-go boxes while the staff was busy cleaning tables. We were handed a wet plastic bag to pack up our leftovers, which was an odd way to end the experience. Overall, the food was better than the customer service. We'd still consider stopping again because the food is decent, but we hope the hospitality improves. A more welcoming attitude would go a long way.
