The owner offered me a fair price compared to their competitor across the street. The competitor across the street was not able to find the karet stamp, and the price was grossly unfair. $ 32.00 dollars for 18 karet gold a gram while scrap gold is trading over$ 62.00 I will definitely consult Kamin jewelry professionals. They were honest jewelers - and I would definitely give my business to them for future gold repairs or gold prices.

The store is very cute. It is very easy to pass by because it is in a residential area. There are no other businesses around it and the signage is pretty subtle. There are minimal amounts of vintage items. There are lots of items you can find in other stores in Geneva, etc. There did seem to be an abundance of beachy items which I didn't expect in a place called Urban Farmgirl. If you are thinking that you will be checking out lots of vintage items or updated vintage items, that isn't the case. There is some of this, but mostly new items. What sets Tinks Nook apart from most bead stores are the findings tables with many unusual and unique clasps as well as cord ends and other pieces rarely seen in stores. Unfortunately it is closed on Mondays so I can't visit when passing through after a long weekend trip, but don't let that stop you from taking a trip another day.
