Never hire this company if they don't take priority in safe driving they're definitely not going to take priority in your home. reckless driver from this company almost caused a 4 car pile up on emerson road and went into a completely illegal turn to get across traffic then proceeded to BLOCK TRAFFIC the van was sticking half way out in the lane and not go turn at the light and have patience like a safe driver should've ... definitely wouldn't recommend this company they need to go have their employees take driving lessons seriously!!!!! I have been using Haley's comet for at least four years. They have new equipment, which does an exceptional job. They are very polite and professional and arrive on time. And the price is very competitive. I do have to remember to have them apply Scotchgard or I get new stains very quickly. But that's because I have good carpet but it's old. The most important quality to me in a vendor is SERVICE - does the company stand by their work? Sadly, Haley's Comet fails miserably in that regard. I had my beige Berber (3 rooms and 1 hallway) cleaned recently for $85.95 plus their "EZ Treat" supplement, for another $15.00. The technician spent a total of 45 minutes, and kept saying "This is beyond clean, it's a restoration!". Based on that, I expected the "restoration" to last at least 6 months, not 6 weeks! When I called to complain and request either a do-over or a refund, the secretary immediately asked if I did anything - use Resolve or maybe it was the dog.....I finally got the tech back out 2 weeks later; and he blamed me, the customer, saying I have a white carpet and track dirt, that these are all new stains, that he's "been doing this for 20 years and he is half the price of Stanley Steemer." I scheduled this company for a cleaning and was given a window from 12:30-1:00 First off the technician showed up 1/2 an hour early. Meanwhile I was at work and my wife was out. The tech called twice while he was waiting. Then the secretary calls me at 12:28 and says that the tech will be leaving at 12:30 because he has "other jobs to get to". All while telling me that I don't know how businesses operate because I don't own one. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my 32 years on this planet.
