    Kamikaze Roll and Mexican Roll
    Brittney W.

Lin's is one of my favorite neighborhood spots for anything Asian. The staff is so kind, even when you are picking up takeout food. They are very attentive, caring, and be careful, they'll figure out their regulars and what they normally order :) I ordered my regular of the Kamikaze roll and Mexican roll, and it constantly is fresh, filling on flavor, and light enough to feel satisfied. Don't miss out on this location.

Miso soup it tasted average, it was good

The service is very good, quick service. However the quality of the servings were pretty good. Moo goo served with vegetables/ rice served on the side It was bland had to add soy sauce to in hanse. The taste. Do not like having to add soy sauce just to get so flavor to my food. Do not like bland food. Don't believe you should have to add any additional condiments, salt, pepper, soy sauce, to your meal. Entree 5 out of 10 I will return to see if this was just a one off.

I had the beef lo mein, and my husband had a chicken lo mein. We agreed mine was better! Mine had a very flavorful sauce along with whole baby carrots, celery, onion, slices of beef and noodles in a spicy sauce. His was the same, but with chicken. Service was fine, but the music was too loud which made conversation difficult..

    Sunrise Roll- must try!

The whole meal was a great experience. We did go in at 3:45 so it was in between the lunch and dinner hour. However we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server checked on us multiple times and the food came out fast. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was hard to choose what to eat but we got the spring roll appetizer, sushi, and pad Thai. I got the sunrise roll and chicken Pad Thai. The roll was giant that I didn't really need the noodles. That will be lunch tomorrow. My husband got 4 rolls and it filled him up. I would definitely recommend going to eat at this restaurant.

The food was great and the service was also great. It toke a long time to get the food because of all the take out orders. But other than that it was perfect.

This place has great food. We had Eggrolls, the gyoza to start. Very good. My wife had the Tempura, I had the Reidy River sushi roll. Excellent, a must try, and the Soba noodle soup. So good. The portions are BIG. Our friends that went with us loved it. Everyone had to get a to go box. It's a must try.

Awesome sushi spot. Was not expecting such a great plate of food stopping at a random place on my drive home. Seriously eat here!!

    Black dragon roll

Black dragon roll is the absolute best for shrimp tempura lovers. Authentic and fresh tasting sushi similar to what you will find in California. You can't beat these flavors here in SC. And the cute orange bear! Service was good very helpful server.

Excellent food, quality & quantity!! The dinner can be costly but you do get your money's worth. Lunch (11-3 Monday-Sat.) is the best bet for your money. And if you have someone to split the bill with both of you can get full, including sushi, filet mignon & fried rice for about $10 a person. I LOVE Lin's!!!! What a great find

I'm new to the Simpsonville area and was very glad to find this gem just moments from my new doorstep! I'm sure it will become a regular stop for me and my wife when we are in the mood for sushi. When trying a new sushi restaurant, I usually opt for something fairly standard - a regular sushi dinner. You know, the kind where the chef chooses the cuts of nigiri (6-8 pieces) and you typically get a California roll with it. I think this is a really good test of a sushi restaurant. You'll always get a couple of pieces of tuna and a couple of salmon, but the rest of the choices tell a lot about the restaurant. I've had some where it was 3 tuna and 3 salmon and that was your dinner. Others have had a wider variety, but it was clearly fish that the place was trying to get rid of. Not so at Lin's! My regular sushi dinner had 2 tuna, 2 salmon, 1 yellowtail, 1 squid, and 1 red snapper. All seemed very fresh and were super tender and tasty. They also had embellishments, such as a dollop of fish roe on top of one of the pieces and shavings of... lime? possibly?... on another. They topped it off with a carved orange in the shape of a bear (check out the top left corner of the picture I posted) - which I'd never seen before. Clearly, this is a place that cares about the product they are selling and makes an effort to present it in a special way. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the sweet shrimp (amaebi). I always think of this as two dishes for the price of one, because it is typically served as one piece of shrimp nigiri and the deep-fried, stuffed head of the shrimp alongside. So I didn't think too much about a price of $8 for this piece of sushi (two-for-one, after all). To my surprise, however, this order included two pieces of shrimp nigiri and two heads! So, really, four for one. What a deal! Loved my first visit to Lin's and can't wait to introduce my wife to it when she joins me here. Sure to become a regular!

I'm very impressed! This is only my third time eating sushi and I ordered outside of my comfort zone and I'm so glad I did. I loved it so much. The sauce on my volcano roll was incredible. My friend, who is more well-versed in sushi, was just as impressed. She said the Unagi is better than most places she's tried. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in SC. Highly recommend

Great Sushi, has a lot of fish or crabs in sushi, compared to other places, which have a lot of rice around the sushi.

Only 4 tables were occupied and it was easy to get service, this time from Emily (Em) who was very personable and attentive. Turns out, this trip the sushi rice was much less sweet, my previous concern being that too much mirin in the rice seemed to fit that visit, this one was fine. "First you eat with your eyes", said an ancient Roman gourmand whose name I can't remember. And he is right about that. These rolls and nigiri look fantastic (see pics), and taste equally well. This spot is 1.5 miles from my house and now is on our rotation. The Cherry Blossom roll, the Dragon Maki and the regular yellowtail scallion are going to be regulars for us. As a p.s. and this is important, the regular spicy tuna roll is actual tuna and not minced up tuna. I'm always afraid the minced tuna is yesterday's or the day before, diced up and mixed with hot sauce and rolled. So I always check that. We are all good here!

Each entree came with a distinct sauce and fixings/side dish and unique flavors. Veggies were fresh, noodles just right, though soba somehow were more like ramen. Tofu, even though fried, was not greasy and just right in softness and texture!! All in all, a fantastic experience! The takeout menu definitely will need to go on the refrigerator!!!

We were not impressed. Beyond that, a bento box should not come with salad or fruit in the box.
