This food is not good Tonight I ordered beef and garlic sauce, fried rice, and eggroll and a small hot and-sour soup. The hot and-sour soup was neither hot nor sour- more like mushroom soup with little to no vegetables- tasteless The beef and garlic sauce was more sweet than anything. Lots of green peppers. The beef was stringy. The rice was OK, it had a little bit of a smoked taste to it. The egg roll was all right. Nothing special duck sauce and hot mustard come in packages which is the inexpensive way out . It's been a year since I've been here. I thought I'd give them another try but I cannot return. This is the most underrated restaurant in Milford. Their appetizers, rice and lomein are better than any other restaurant. I've lived in Milford for over 20 years and am kicking myself for believing the crappy star rating. They're better than any place that has more stars than them!! I ordered the lunch special chicken and broccoli with crab Rangoons and wonton soup. The first thing I reached for was the crab Rangoon and they looked really disappointing, when I bit into it the cream cheese smelled and tasted so off like athletes foot... the steamed white rice tasted old and grainy and the chicken and broccoli were mediocre. I still haven't tasted the wonton soup and honestly I'm kinda scared to. But I will be back about it. It sucks to be writing this about a business but it truly is disappointing :/ read more

Ordered delivery the other night. The food was 45 minutes late from the promised delivery window. The Lo Mien was bland with 85% noodles, barely any vegetables and the shrimp were minuscule at best. Chicken fingers were huge with 20% chicken & 80% batter. They only included a tiny container of duck sauce, barely enough to cover a few bites. Tiny little spring rolls and beef teriyaki was like 2 bites per skewer. Very Disappointed and whether takeout, delivery or eat-in we will never, ever, dine there again. read more

For being in the area, this is a great choice! This place isn't out of the ordinary Chinese food, HOWEVER, given the location and convenience.... it definitely deserves credit... I was at the EMC HQ in Hopkinson- where everything is very far and spaced out. To go eat anywhere is a 10-15 minutes drive, so I looked into delivery options. This was the only place that delivered in the area! I ordered garlic eggplant with tofu and the schezuan tofu- which were both very flavorful! The mixed vegetable Delight was plain and had an odd flavor! But the other dishes were very tasty. Delivery was within the hour, food was still hot upon arrival, and if I had to order delivery in that area again I'd easily order from here. read more

For delivery, it is pretty good. The food isn't horribly greasy, the spice level is on point, and it arrives hot, despite not being close. However. Their driver is rude. We have a Chinese restaurant in town and every time we have had food delivered, the delivery man bashes the other Chinese restaurant. It is off-putting to say the least. Have gone to Lin's Garden a couple of times over the past 7 months and while the food is good compared to others, not greasy or lacking flavor, the delivery or pick up experience has always had a glitch or oddness to it. We usually order online as it can get busy and this always seems to get mixed up or confused. Strange, since they're the ones who chose to have this as an option. Would be open to trying different places for Chinese, but we don't get it all that often so we just deal with the weird ordering for some fairly good Chinese food. read more

I've been getting food at Lin's Garden for more than 10 years, but since the establishment changed hands, the quality has gone down hill. Tonight is the last night I order from them. All I ordered was Chicken Lo mein and a Beef Lo mein. The noodles were very dry. There was barely any sauce. The chicken was tough, dry, like it was over cooked. The beef was nondescript. No vegetables except a few sprouts. The Lo Mein used to have a few vegetables and plenty of sauce that it was messy to eat. I'm simply tired of overpaying for tasteless food from this place. I have been going here for take out since they opened. Everything is very fresh. They have never had any problem with my special requests. Today we ordered 2 combination plates. Both, chicken egg foo yung. I asked to have them make chicken fried rice instead of the pork fried. This way I know it is freshly made and not sitting in a warmer. It was excellent. The egg rolls were awesome. And, the egg foo yung was the best I've had. We have tried most menu items. Most are very good. Some are kind of bland. But, that is their cooking style. Called on a Friday night. An hour later... no food. Called back and asked why it wasn't here yet. "Sorry we are busy, we will be right there." Another 25 minutes go by. Still, no food. I call back. "Our driver just left, he will be there in 10 minutes." I don't know why I believed them this time. I don't know why the driver would have just left after almost an hour and a half after I originally called. I wait 15 minutes more, still no food. I call back and cancel. The person who answered the phone didn't say much. At the two hour mark, the driver shows up, even though I cancelled. They want to offer me a discount if I still buy the food. No thanks. Lin's is delivery/take out only. I'd only give the food 3.5 stars, but the service is fast and we're back here every month or two, so I bumped them up. They have and extensive menu with all the american-chinese food standards. Nothing really stands out, but we've liked everything we've ordered. Ok. If you want good Chinese take out then this is the place for you. They have great choices and everything from the Beef and Broccoli to the chicken fingers are prepared fresh and fast. Pago Pago was the best but with it now gone, Lin Garden has become my favorite in town. Those who loved Pago's chicken teriyaki have found the closest thing to it here. All white meat, gigantic, always moist, best app on the menu. Great combo app is the Kids Happy Box. It's a mini sampler with fingers (good batter) , rangoon (delicious filling) and chicken teriyaki. My favorite thing on the menu is the Hunan crispy shrimp. They give you about a dozen jumbo sized shrimp in a light batter with broccoli and white rice. Maybe the best thing about this place is the ownership. Almost every call ends with see you in 10 minutes. They are always courtesy, have no problem with substitutions and if you want something not on the menu just ask and they will accommodate you. Down side, its TAKE OUT only. I'll get delivery on occasion but why pay tip and a delivery charge when it's 2 miles away! read more

This is my new favorite Chinese spot. The crab Rangoon are the best I've ever had crispy crab filled sweet pillows of Deliciousness. The beef teriyaki was amazing thick juicy hunks of meat. The chicken fingers are typical Americanized over breaded chicken strips. The chicken wings are good. The fried shrimp wrings were actually shrimp all the way around unlike most places. The beef spare ribs were dry. The egg rolls have just the right amount of filling. The scallion pancakes lacked flavor but we're cooked exactly like I asked for. General tso chicken was very good. There fried rice isn't good at all. I will definitely be here again but will order lomain not rice and no scallion pancakes. read more

Ordered delivery from here last night, got the Pad Thai chicken, House Lo Mein, wings, rangoons, teryaki and peking raviolis. Everything was good, they forgot the teryaki and took 45 minutes to bring it to me after I waited 45 minutes for my order in the first place so service isn't great but this is definately the best quality chinese you can get delivered in the area. The Pad Thai was good but unfortunately for Lin's I only ordered it because I had tried it last week from Thai Pepper and it was incredible, probably the best asian dish I have ever eaten, so I was a bit let down when Lins Pad Thai was nowhere near as delicious but it was still good. I will continue to order from Lins on nights when I want chinese but am too lazy to drive anywhere simply because the food is good, they aren't overly greasy and they don't use MSG like so many other restaurants in the area. read more

Today I put in an online order for a few apps and received a confirmation email saying delivery would be about 45 minutes which I was totally okay with. About and hour and 20 minutes later I called to check the status of my order, the girl on the phone said they didn't see it and she would print it out now and send it out for delivery. I asked if it would take long considering I had just waited almost and hour and a half. She sounded very unsure when she said it wouldn't be long. Finally it was delivered but the chicken fingers were so hard like they'd been fried over and over. I have never in my life ordered wonton soup and had it come with lettuce in it! It was beyond disgusting. Either use the slightly more expensive bok choy like everyone else in the world does or leave it out. Substituting a cheap head of nasty lettuce made it totally inedible and i threw it in the trash! The two brothers that own the place are the most hardworking individuals I've ever met in my life and it really comes through in the food. If you've ever had the msg blues you know that you feel like shit after you have bad Chinese food but THIS PLACE DOES *NOT *USE MSG. No brain poisoning, no foggy brain, no headaches, no feeling like you consumed gallons of grease.You never feel like crap afterwards. Just full and happy. We ordered Chicken wings, chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, crab ran-goons pork rice, beef lo mien, and some shanghai duck and WOW WAS IT GREASSY!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE GREASSIEST AND SALTIEST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE EVER TRIED!!! Delivery was quick, but the duck tasted like they dumped a bottle of soy sauce into it and everything else was literally drenched with grease. I don't get what all the good reviews are about. While some of the food is decent, I must say that it's the greasiest Chinese food I've ever had. When I've had delivery from here, the bags were soaked with grease. Just a turn off. And to top it all off, the food really doesn't have much flavor. Fantastic food and great people. My family has been frequenting their store for years, and I mean a decade kind of years and not just 1-2, and we've loved it. The staff there is very friendly (we're very well acquainted with them and they recognize us on the phone within 2 seconds of calling). Their food tastes amazing. Nothing is bland or dry, nothing is undercooked, and everything is prepped with care. Even after a 20 minute drive home the food is still just as hot as when it finished cooking and they give fantastic portions for what you pay. No other Chinese restaurant has compared to the quality and service that Lin's Garden has provided so far, and I keep looking when I'm too far to get it from them. read more
