I bought two sets of eyeglasses from them. During the initial visit the employees were kind and helpful. When I initially got the glasses there was a small problem (lenses made incorrectly) but the store corrected the issue. (Thank you.) Their prices are a little on the high side, but they may be in line with other eye care places. (I don't know.) Unfortunately 6 months after receiving my glasses, the bridge broke. When I went back to see what could be done I was told if I didn't buy an extended warranty, all I could do is buy new frames. There was no options other than that presented to me. Seems the customer service stopped when I walked out the door after initially buying my glasses. I did not abuse my glasses, just seems as though they had a manufacturing defect from the start, but now I am out $400. I understand that it isn't specifically Lindsey Eye Care's fault, but it is not mine either. If 6 months is the best you can get out of a pair of glasses from them, probably should look to another facility that sells better quality items. read more

This was my first visit to Linsey after no longer being satisfied at my previous place. Dr. Hachem was super nice and not only addressed my vision but also discussed other concerns moving forward. My script was updated, and Jessica assisted me in selecting my new frames. She gave me honest opinions and was helpful with locating certain styles until I made the final decisions. I went for an eye exam and to order some glasses. Everything was going well until I brought the display glasses to the "salesman". He seemed very adamant about me getting the same color of glasses in the display case with the same film on lenses. I heard him out but opted for different color and lenses. This was on Saturday and he said they'll be ready Monday because my insurance was "so good". My first time. Didn't know any better. I come in Monday and they gave me the Display case glasses with smudge filled lenses and the residue from the price sticker still on the frame. When I came back to exchange them, it was like I made the mistake and they said it'll take 2 weeks! Not sure what happened to my insurance being "so good". It's such a shame the sales people and glasses technicians are so nasty and condescending because the presentation of the store is so good. read more

This is my go to place for eyecare. The eye doctors are very knowledgeable and explain everything in a very understandable way. Their eyeglass selection is top notch. The technician helping me also explained all the options and what my insurance would cover. Love my new glasses and sunglasses. Definitely recommend. read more

Horrible experience - so much so that I walked out and cancelled my appointment. From the start there was almost a resistance on the part of the staff to provide information. I asked what glasses were covered by my insurance and the attendant gestured over to a side of the wall "that column", which was unhelpful. When I asked for more information about pricing, it was like pulling teeth to get them to be more specific. It's almost like they don't want to tell you how much you are actually going to spend - at the very least, the staff are unhelpful and uninformed. I felt like I was imposing on them to even ask a question. Don't go here if you want to feel comfortable with your purchase. You would think a place whose only job is to sell glasses would be able to provide clear and accurate information about their product without making the customer feel as though they are an imposition. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Greenwood at Linsey Eyecare for many years. He has always been very helpful and the entire staff has always been very friendly. I couldn't imagine going to another ophthalmologist. I recently started see Dr. Edelman-Beers as my dentist. She and her staff are fantastic as well. I have never had a bad experience at Linsey Eyecare and Dentist. I highly recommend both services! read more

I recently brought my daughter and I in for an exam and was very surprised. I read a few poor reviews before making my appointment but decided to take a chance and I'm so glad that I did. I was seen right on time, was helped by a really sweet girl who was super patient with my very indecisive teenager and was out of there without breaking my bank. Always a great experience! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Even with the warnings that they're short staff, my appointment was conducted in a timely manner, NOT all day. It was my first experience with contacts. No one made me feel dumb as it took a bit for me to get the hang of them. At check out, I requested an appointment time corresponding with my significant other and they managed to fit me in without any hesitation. Also, had to call the next day with a concern and the woman I spoke with gave some awesome recommendations for me to try. The woman that had helped in the past with a glasses fitting was great, too. Purchased over 1 yr ago. Lenses became damaged in upper, outer corners x2. They fixed them 1 time & replace frames as I was concerned the frame was damaged from them replacing the lens. Was under warrenty.The damage is half rounded crackled area. Same damage happened again & they would not fix the lenses. Again they did not know why the crackling happened, although one person said they had seen this happen before but seldem. I will not buy from them again as they do not back up their priduct or workmanship. I have never have this happen before! read more

I have been a satisfied customer many years until now.. Bought glasses and they irritated my nose so badly i had to have them replaced. My nose was rubbed raw on one side and the glasses were so painful i couldn't use them. I was given such attitude, sighs and eye rolls I was appalled. I got a replacement pair, however was NEVER shown the difference in price or given a refund.. I was treated very badly, made to feel like it was MY fault the glasses didn't work out.. The staff with the eye doctor were pleasant snd professional. The eye was very nice. The eye exam went smoothly. The staff was very helpful when i was buying new glasses. After 1 1/2 weeks i called to find out if my glasses came in and the person who answered the phone was rude. When i went to pick up my glasses the staff was not very helpful, even gave me the wrong glasses at first. I would get my eyes examined there again but i think i will go someplace else to purchase my glasses. read more

I can't say enough good things about Linsey. They have been our go-to since moving into the area nearly 8 years ago. The staff is friendly and helpful. This time, after getting my glasses, I realized that something was wrong. The Optometrist, Dr. Greenwood, re-checked me and came up with a different RX. I believe it was in my error that the first was incorrect. I've had recent rapid vision changes and was struggling just reading. Great experience overall. Front desk is just ok.....depending upon who you get may not be the friendliest. But the level of service from the doctors was amazing. Very professional and attentive to my needs for both dental and eyecare. I am new to the area and will continue to go to Linsey for eye and dental needs for me and my daughter. Just recently started using Linsey Eyecare and must say that I'm not too happy with the service that I've been receiving. The docs are nice, but that doesn't seem to translate across the whole team. I went for an eye appointment to get my prescription updated so I could order new contacts, and that experience was alright- no issues there really. Upon ordering my contacts, however, I was told that there was no prescription found so my order could not be processed. I spoke with the ladies out front and they seemed to have better things to do at that point. The best they could offer was to schedule another appointment just like the one I already paid for. The whole experience was quite frustrating- from the service to the attitudes to the waste of time and money. I can't say I'll go back...very disappointed read more

Have waited 2 months for a pair of glasses that I paid for in September. Every time I call I get another excuse, today included. Insurance called the lab - turns out they sent frames back to Lindsey as they were wrong color, and Lindsey seems to have lost the order for weeks. After my eye exam, during which the "your eyes are aging and changing" conversation happened, I purchased several boxes of contacts and headed out. For the last two months, I have noticed significant changes in my eyes. I thought my dr had really nailed anticipating those aging changes she referred to. After several weeks of headaches, not seeing clearly, and not being able to read well, I headed back in to Linsey today for help. To my surprise, I learned that they gave me the wrong prescription for one of my eyes. As a result, I have been walking around with one contact that was completely wrong (I was wearing -.75 and I should have had +.75). Although the secretary was nice, no one even bothered to talk to me and, perhaps, apologize. My dr was consulted and didn't even want to talk to me. They are currently going to "see how many boxes" they will replace. This was a significant error that effected me daily...you would think they would be more apologetic. Be careful at this place. My patronage feels about as disposable as these wrong contacts. read more

I heard lots of good things about Linsey EyeCare so I thought I would try them. Well, I can't give them a low enough rating. I ordered glasses between Christmas and New Year so I expected a delay. I called on Thursday and was told they'd be finished on Friday. I went on Saturday morning and the glasses were not finished. They told me to come back in an hour. J did, and when they presented my glasses, the frames were the wrong color. The girl who waited on me was snippy and told me the frames ere on back order. So I asked her what I'm supposed to do without my glasses till they come in. While I was waiting, another client came in to pick up her glasses and they were not what she ordered either. They wanted to charge her an additional fee to fix their screwup. When I asked to have my glasses adjusted she asked what was wrong with them. That was a first - usually the people look at you and adjust them. When my other frames come in, I'm swapping lenses and never setting foot in this business again! read more

I found the Doctors to be very helpful and my prescription has always been accurate, they always found what's best for me. With the rest of the staff, I never had a BAD experience, just some visits that were friendlier than others. One experience in particular was after I purchased a pair of prescription RayBans. I had been buying contacts for a while, had one old pair of glasses (bought at Linsey as well) and decided I'd like to switch back. I had already used my insurance for contacts so I paid out of pocket. I was going to opt out of purchasing the $100 warranty, but the salesman talked me into it. I was told if anything happens, just bring the pieces in, even if they're broken from a car running them over as long as I physically have the glasses the warranty will replace them. Fast forward 5 months and they actually did break, into a few separate pieces. I brought them in, and the lady asks me what happened. I explained that my dog had got a hold of them. She then tells me the warranty does not cover anything like that. I explained to her what I as told when I had purchased the warranty, and she said nobody should have ever told me that. She didn't even try to see if there was anything that could be done, just shoed me away as fast as possible. I was devastated, I felt like I had either been lied to or denied any rights I had under said "Warranty." Next pair of prescription RayBans I get will most certainly not come from here... this is one of three negative experiences I had in the last few years so instead of going back to be disappointed again I just have to find somewhere else. I would also like to add, I never had any issues and loved this place for about 7 years, up until 2018. Then it was just one misguided experience after another. read more

So many thanks to Linsey for helping my son out of a jam! His frames were broken and we couldn't get a replacement that day, so they went out of their way to fix up his broken ones with what they had on hand so he could at least wear them in the meantime. Great staff! Very helpful. :) read more

I have been going to Linsey Eyecare and Dental Health Services for all my vision and dental needs for over 10 years. The doctors on both the vision and dental side are outstanding. I have to say the staff is very knowledgeable with all the different insurance and they have a great selection of frames to fit every budget. Went into Linsey Eyecare to get lenses put into my own frames. I paid for the lenses and waited over a week, just for them to call me to tell me that they broke my frames while they were installing the lenses. They never offered to reimburse me for my frames, which were in great condition when I brought them in. They also didn't refund me for the lenses that I bought! So after it was all said and done I gave Linsey Eyecare $300 to break my frames, and didn't get a refund for any of it. The employees, especially the receptionists for optometrists, seem to always have an attitude and honestly are not very good at their job. The doctors seem nice but don't always seem to know what they are doing. Shady things going on at this place. It's a horrible experience dealing with this business. Would never recommend, even to my worst enemy! Save yourself the aggravation of a subpar optometrist(Linsey Eyecare) and go somewhere else. read more

Customer service is deplorable! I wish I could give them a negative rating. They wrote my prescription wrong, and after ordering glasses online and not being able to see out of them, the manufacturer had me scan my prescription to them and didn't pick up on anything wrong with prescription. So they remade them and again I could not see out of them. I asked Linsey to re-write my prescription and when I got it home and compared to original there was no negative written and no Add +1.00 on original!! I called and was told to bring both in. I went in and after receptionist compared she said well it's not their fault cause they know how to read prescription and it's the computer's fault that it didn't scan right. Blaming everyone under the sun but themselves!!! And now I am out the money! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will not be returning nor will my husband or son! They have now lost a family of business. read more

I read several reviews that just do not make sense to me. I have been going to Linsey for years for my eye exams and glasses. At one point I wanted to try contacts and they help me with that as well. The doctors are great. The ladies at the desk are friendly and helpful. When I have gone in to pick up my husband's contacts or a receipt for my flex spending (because I misplaced the original) they even know who I am most times. When I got bifocals for the first time last year, the person who helped me spent a good 30 minutes just making sure I knew how to use them properly without straining my neck trying to see out the bottom. I called this am about picking up my glasses that are in, they checked on my husbands to make sure my husbands also came in and scheduled both of us for an appointment at the same time in order to save us a visit. I recommend this place to my family, friends and to my coworkers all the time because of my great experiences here. read more
