Understanding how important it is to feel Safe and having a clean dryer duct, this is what Jeremy did. This is for our vacation home so when we're here we try to pack in as many sight seeing adventures as we can. Not having to be home was a blessing. This is the thorough email we received. Hi Fred, Just completed the cleaning of your dryer exhaust system. The system was heavily clogged with lint thus causing a tremendous amount of back pressure in the system. I use a device called a Magnehelic Gauge to obtain this reading. The initial reading was .75 which anything over .60 would indicate a blockage. After the cleaning I was able to improve that reading to .45 which is well below .60. Your overall airflow improved from 691 cubic feet per minute to 1822 cubic feet per minute. The ideal airflow the manufacturer recommends is 1500 feet per minute at the outside vent. So by removing the clog and eliminating the back pressure and improving the airflow from 691 to 1822 you should see a huge improvement in your dryers drying time. I locked up behind myself and replaced the key to its lock box. Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me. If this isn't thorough enough and someone you would want to come to your home then I don't know what to tell you. Jeramy was very kind and professional from start to finish. He arrived on time and was super kind to my boys who were very excited to see all the "cool tools" he was using. Jeramy asked me to walk him through our laundry room and vent out set up, explained what he would be doing, then he got to work. I called on Monday nov 16th and Jeramy answered the phone right away. After explaining my situation he came over the same night after his last job to help us out. He stayed later past 6 to finish his work and did it timely. He explained what he was doing during the entire process while also educating us on a small error that our builder made that could have resulted in a lot of damage. Jeramy was great! He showed up right on time, was professional, friendly, and was very considerate. Before he started the vacuum to clean out the vents, he asked if anyone in the house was asleep.
