We happened upon this place for Sunday brunch and we quite pleased with the selections for both breakfast and lunch foods and the price was very reasonable. It did start off a little rough as we were not very warmly greeted by the hostess who seemed annoyed we didn't have a reservation. They also didn't take our name but there were only a few groups ahead of us. We eventually were seated by the hostess where a server came over and took drink orders. Coffee is self serve which i enjoyed because I hate asking to have my mug refilled all the time. It was pretty self explanatory from there. There is a fresh omelette bar, specialty waffle station and fresh eggs Benedict made to order. The buffet line was mainly the lunch items...salad bar, steamed green beans, fried chicken, roast turkey, cornbread stuffing, biscuits and gravy etc... We will go back! read more

The food has gotten progressively worse over the 4 years we have been in town. Today, one girl was getting beverages. We finally got a tea refill as we were finishing up. My son (t1 diabetic) was given sweet tea when he had asked for unsweet. It was poured from a different pitcher, so it was more of a mistake than just mishearing. The food wasn't good. The chicken was so done it was dark brown and dried up looking. The hamburger steak was too salty to eat. They no longer have fruit for salad/desert. The bill was such that we could have/should have gone to Harveys/the Grill/Longhorn and felt like we had a better lunch. read more

The brunch buffet here is the best. It's a true gem in Columbus, MS. Extremely reasonable price (approx. $16.50) and if you can't find something you like...well, let's just say the problem is you, not them. The restaurant/buffet here is run by culinary students at the East MS Community College. They are friendly, and damn good cooks. Sometimes the service is lacking, as in the dirty plates don't get picked up, etc. But due to the quality and selection, I don't deduct for it. It has always been BYOB, although I hear it may be changing soon, as they are obtaining a liquor license, so be prepared. Other than the brunch buffet, LH also has a pool, golf course, and multiple event venues. I have heard or experienced good things about all, and think the value is very good (that's a nice way of saying that you get more than what you pay for). read more

I love this place. Very nice and clean. Real chefs and they also have culinary students working in the kitchen as well. Great for parties and events. Friday night is the only time they do dinner but have a lunch buffet Tues-Fri and Brunch on Sundays. On Sunday's they have a carving station that changes every Sunday, they have a smoked salmon carving that is done fresh that day, eggs any way you want including omelets and eggs benedict, and freshly made waffles! read more

Best fried chicken and catfish on the lunch buffet. Price is good. Room is pretty. Staff is inconsistent. Some are nice and helpful. Others are rude. Manager overheard yelling at people and being short with other customers. I hear they have a nice Sunday brunch, but for $17 I haven't been there yet. read more

Brunch was amazing! Hidden Gem for visiting CAB parents... run by local college for culinary students. Do not miss this. Only open on Sunday for brunch (and has a Friday night buffet we didn't know about). Took e CAB student pilots here and by their second plates they were planning a return visit. Food was very good and the variety was almost overwhelming. They had unique takes on standard items that were top notch (chicken manicotti / Unique bread pudding, beginets) Dining room is huge and uncrowded (but not impressive in photos... heck, they are just tables and chairs...the food is why you come). Best brunch I have had in years. I could not even sample all of the options! Full breakfast offerings, eggs Benedict made to order, waffles with REAL blueberries and REAL whipped cream, made to order omelets). Fresh carved prime rib and salmon the day we attended. No alcohol served but you can bring your own (encouraged in fact on the site)... full set ups for most morning/brunch style drinks (mimosas, bloody mary's etc.) The menu changes week to week so search the internet or facebook for the current menu at East Mississippi Community College.... only place to find it. Check both if you do not find the current week.... The week we went facebook had the current week. Today both places do... GO..... it is well worth the trip. Just don't tell too many people or it will be packed when I go back when returning to Columbus for his graduation. It was a TREAT and all you can eat is a bargain. read more

BEST BRUNCH IN TOWN. Seriously, go for brunch. Amazing buffet, fresh salmon, cheeses, omelet or egg Benedict station, carving station, waffle station, desserts, etc... And the awesome part is that it's BYOB. So bring your champagne or vodka and they'll supply the orange juice and Bloody Mary bar! The lunch buffet is good too and the post their daily menus on Facebook. We recently went for a banquet and the service and food was also fabulous. Great selection with breakfast & lunch stations, muffin bar, cheese table, a meat cutting station & desserts. Also, you can brown bag your champagne for mimosas. Absolutely Amazing!! I am a "foodie" and I go out of my way to find great places to eat. I will be having brunch there regularly. I had a small portion of almost everything that was served. It was all cooked to perfection. Everything was seasoned well with the utilization of various spices and food combinations to create a "party in my mouth!" The service was extremely slow ! Had group of 16 but having entrees coming out over 15 minutes is nit acceptable . We ask about dessert menus and was told the kitchen was closed - what! If your kitchen had not been so slow in bringing out food perhaps the group would have been able to try some desserts If you have choice - go somewhere else read more

Price change and variety of food has gone done this year. Reducing entree options and increasing price has detracted from what otherwise would be a 5-star Sunday Brunch Buffet... In the past, we never cared to look for other options... recent change at Lion Hills paved the way for us to consider other options. read more
