They're efficient, they figure things out, and they don't make a production out of it. It just gets done, and it gets done right. But the reason I'm writing is something more specific. When my father passed away, I came in to print booklets and posters for the funeral. I was not in a state to manage details or even explain properly what I needed. I left things out, I was scattered, and I honestly don't even remember everything I said. Between the two of them, they picked up on what was missing and just handled it. They made decisions where I couldn't, fixed what I hadn't thought through, and made sure everything came together the way it needed to. When I walked inside, the staff refused to take my packages, claiming the registers were already shut down. As I went back to my car to grab my phone, they immediately locked the door behind me. If a business states they are open until 4:00 PM, they should accept customers until 4:00 PM. Turning away paying customers early is completely unacceptable.

I was on a first-name basis with the owner and the staff. They remembered me every time I walked in the door and were very accommodating. There are wide driveways for parking in front of your space and the turning radius is easy to navigate larger trucks. It's amazing how quickly one can fill a space. I was at full capacity. Whenever I have a project, Yelp, has been wonderful in getting me the assistance needed. Elite movers was the first (and forever my only) company to request lots of pictures with all cupboards open, an approximation of cost and duration, and customer service that took the time to answer all questions. The move day went off without incident. My crew consisted of four strong fellas-my crap being packed left and right, furniture being moved, boxes toted off, things I wasn't taking headed for the trash etc. They were all done by 1:30 or so and headed to the new place so I stopped for pizza/soda for them. All boxes unloaded and furniture placed where requested. Elite finished their job by about 3:30. I like them less now. The remaining boxes to unpack seem to have multiplied in the garage like bunnies but at least they are in one place. Great value for the money and no stress with packing things safely! It turned out I was the owner's kind of people. I wanted to send a package and he helped me. I should have had the presence of mind to give him my extra copy of "Copy This" the memoir/business-success-story of Kinko's founder. Paul Orfalea is so generous, he gave me a second copy of his book, and signed them both!
