Atmosphere - Very good. A Country style restaurant that is part of the building that includes the pro shop for a public golf course, the restaurant has a view of the driving range. Service - Very good. Our server was extremely nice and helpful. Food - Very good. I ordered the small portion of French Toast with two eggs scrambled and sausage patties. The French Toast had a hint of cinnamon and was very good. The eggs and sausage were good as well. As importantly, the meal was served hot! Overall Value - Very good. The restaurant offered a relaxed atmosphere with very good food and service at a more than reasonable price.

With so many good Yelp reviews, we had to try this place for breakfast. It's located at the municipal golf course and you can watch people at the driving range while dining. Our server was very friendly and brought our coffee quickly. The menu is extensive and I settled on a western omelet with home fries and rye toast, along with a fruit cup. The food arrived timely, but my home fries were hash browns and I didn't want to raise a fuss. The omelet was tasty, but the toast was barely toasted. The fruit cup was nice and fresh. I had high hopes as the atmosphere was great as was the server, but the food fell short a bit.

Great diner! The servers are quick and very friendly. Breakfast and lunch served just as I ordered. I'll be back Lovely view of the golf course with ample tables and seating capacity.

Great little place. I'm a big fan of small old dinners. If that's what you're looking for this is the place for you. Food has been great so far and the portion's are good as well. Always check the specials! However if feel like the regular menu items offer a larger portion. For the dinners age it is nice and clean. The staff is helpful and always happy to tell you what today's special's are. The food always seems to come out fairly quickly and hot which is always a plus.

Pelican Burger. Cooked perfectly Thank you!

When you have a craving for a great burger, sautéed onions, fresh lettuce, medium rare cooked to perfection, so glad we tried the Pelican Diner!

Great hot food to go!!! Food sooo fresh and still hot when I was sitting on the balcony of Captain Hiram's helping someone nurse a hangover. Wife had the pecan waffle with bacon. I crushed a homemade bagel, three eggs, shredded potatoes and sausage links. Love this place because of the staff. I sneaked a few pictures of what appear to be sisters working for the summer. Very well run because my food was ready to roll before I could finish a cup of coffee. Even remembered syrup, butter, roll ups and extra napkins.

I have been on a hunt for a good Gyro in this area (Sebastian). Once in a while I have to have one (and a good one at that). Today was my first visit to Pelican Diner. I had spotted something on line about a Gyro Special on Thur and Fri. (It is not on the menu). First off it smelled great in there. The folks working there were friendly. The place is decorated for Christmas. I found out they have the Gyro Special every weekday (Mon through Fri) and I ordered 2 to go to take for lunch in the park. Our Gyro special came with Gyro, Tzatziki Sauce and French Fries and a dill pickle spear. First off the aroma of these Gyros drove me crazy on the ride to the park. Second - when I unwrapped the Gyro - I was in love! The meat was piled high and was visible and looked great! (most places cover all the meat with lettuce and tomato and onion and Tzatziki sauce and you can't even see the meat. Here the lettuce and tomato and onion was under the meat and the Tzatiki sauce was on the side. The meat was the real stuff - sliced off a spit cooker, and full of awesome flavor. The Tzatziki sauce was great with lots of mello flavor. The fries were plentiful and good. (in my photo a lot of the fries were under the paper from the Gyro. The Gyro special is $7.45 (with the fries) and I think well worth it! I took some photos. I'll be back - it was great!!!

Pleasant surprise! Nestled in a golf course. Great spot for breakfast. Ask for Laurie, the best waitress, for great service and good food.

We live just down the road in Vero Beach, so discovering a neighborhood tavern with this much charm practically in our backyard was a real win. We had already eaten lunch at Nini's Cuban across the parking lot, so we stopped in just for a beer. Within minutes we were pulled straight into the atmosphere. Nancy, the bartender and proprietor, is the kind of host every small tavern dreams of. Warm, funny, and completely at ease, she makes newcomers feel like long‑time regulars while keeping the whole place running smoothly. The beer selection is far better than you would expect from a cozy local spot. There is a rotating craft lineup that rivals bigger bars, along with the classics and a surprisingly solid wine list. We spent half our visit sipping and the other half laughing at the hilarious signs covering the walls and at the antics of a couple of regulars who clearly keep the place lively. We have not tried the food yet, but the vibe alone guarantees we will be back and we will be coming hungry. This is the kind of place where you settle in, meet the locals, and let the afternoon drift. For the record, our beer of choice that day was "Cougar Bait." It is as much fun to drink as it is to say!

From the moment I slid onto a barstool, I knew I was in for something special -- and not just because the beer list reads like a love letter to hop heads and casual sippers alike. Each pint poured is thoughtful, crisp, and refreshing, with local craft brews rubbing shoulders beside tried‑and‑true favorites. I lost count somewhere around the third flight, but honestly? Worth it. And then there's Nancy, the bartender -- sweet lord, if every tavern had her warmth and precision, we'd all be happier people. She recommended beers without braggy pretension, anticipated refills like a mind reader, and managed a perfect balance of friendly conversation and professional grace. Her service alone is worth the trip. Great food, killer beers, and a bartender who makes you feel like a VIP? Village Tavern doesn't just raise the bar -- it is the bar.

For starters, they never asked for our IDs. Now, my husband and I are old enough to drink, but the fact that they didn't check them should have been a red flag. It's clear they just don't care. As the night went on, it became even more apparent. The staff didn't seem to care enough to cut people off when they had clearly had too much to drink. At one point, a man approached my husband and me while we were sitting on the couch and started a bizarre conversation, making strange comments and pointing at us. We tried to ignore it, but then his "friends" had to pull him away. A little later, he came back, now more aggressive than before. I started yelling for help from other patrons or the bartender, and they only responded by pulling him away. The bartender didn't intervene at all. At that point, we decided to cut our night short. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even on a quiet Wednesday. If they're not responsible enough to check IDs, they clearly don't care enough to ensure their patrons' safety or comfort.

There was plenty to take home and have a second meal, and she said it was all delicious. I ordered the soup (clam chowder) and house Caesar. The soup was nice and hot and tasted great. The salad was good, though a tad heavy on the dressing. A general note about Miller's and its kids' menu: I have eaten at a few of these places around the state, and I find their policy about adults eating off the kids' menu to be weird. Some servers are fine with it and some claim management won't let them allow you to order of the other menu. Most items on the kids' menu cost about $8. The (adult) meatloaf is $8.50. The fish and chips are $7.99. So, what is the big deal about an adult ordering off the kids' menu if the costs are the same? Some of us don't want a 1/2 pound burger. The kids' menu has a 1/4 lb. burger. Also, we sometime dine with our disabled nephews, and they usually prefer "kid friendly" dishes. I wish Miller's would review this policy.

She came back with the same drink and said the bar said "its because I skipped the OJ" ?? Well that would make it taste like sour and OJ wouldnt it? It still wouldnt taste like Tequila because there was none in it. Tje poor server agreed with me and apologized. She also said management will not let them freepour anymore and they are mandated to use jiggers. She said there had been several complaints about drink quality. Fast forward a week and we had friends visiting so we took the to the tiki to eat lunch. Everyone had mahi , 2 fried, one blackened. The blackened dish was cut up like french fries and drier than dirt. No one ate it. The fried plates were terribly fishy. I eat fresh mahi routinely and this wasnt fresh by any means. Im afraid we are going to have to find somewhere else to visit. There just aint much good around there anymore but the views, the music and the conch fritters ( but even they werent that great last time)
