Sometimes I stop by even when I'm not planning to get ice cream because I love the atmosphere. It's one of those rare places where neighbors strike up conversations, visitors become regulars, and everyone feels welcome. They also use organic sugar, and I truly think it makes a difference. Pistachio Crunch, Lavender Haze, Gooey James Brownie, Pistoffee (the pistachio ice cream with the best toffee I've ever tasted), Banana Bourbon, and Bourbon Pecan. Honestly, I've never had a flavor I didn't love. Hence the quandary, I find myself in when I frequent Fat Batter far too often. One of the coolest things they offer is what they creatively call an "ice cream flight"--six different flavors served in an egg carton so you can sample a little of everything.
