We were the only bowlers on this quiet Friday afternoon. The house balls were very old and beat up. The ball return system is very old and slow and, at least for our lane, not reliable. The lanes and approaches and scoring system were all fine and the furniture etc was standard issue Brunswick bowling center and in reasonable condition. Everything seemed pretty clean and the value factor was good since we were bowling before 5 pm on a weekday. They are currently hiring a mechanic and kitchen help so I'm sure those people they have are stretched a little thin right now. Overall it seems like a bowling center that is riding out its final years with very little investment. It (bowling) is a tough business to make money at. read more

My school went there for a bowling meet, and the lanes my group was bowling on were just straight up broken. We had to wait several times just for our pins to be reset, and sometimes our pins would get reset in the middle of a frame and we'd have to wait even longer for them to be returned to the way they were. Their floors were incredibly strange, and our balls wouldn't even curve 99% of the time, when they've curved on several other floors before. The menu was horrifically expensive food-wise, but I am grateful for the fact they filled my friend's water bottle with water free of charge. I watched some ads go by for the bowling alley and having to pay 55 dollars PER LANE to bowl is just genuinely insane in my opinion, but hey! What do I know? Anyways, I don't recommend this place personally. Too many complications. Had balls stuck and machines frozen several times and it was a generally frustrating experience. read more

I take my family here every other weekend to play the cosmic bowling! We always get the cosmic Play package. The kids have a blast & I can enjoy a few drinks. I like the fact they can eat & play. The staff are decent. It's just a fun place to go & spend time with the family :) read more

It's not a bad place but if you're going to let people walk around freely without masks on maybe change the rule at the bar. It doesn't make much sense that you're going to let people order food at conservation without a mask, but I have to walk all the way across the ally just to grab my mask because I want to order a single shot like whatr u doing it's kinda crappy to have different rules inside your establishment read more

Little Apple Lanes is a great place for bowling. It's pretty cheap (with even better deals on Thursdays) and there are plenty of lanes available so it usually isn't too busy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a downstairs area below the lanes with some other games including pool. The crowd shifts to more young people on weekend nights, but this bowling alley is definitely family friendly. Best bowling alley I've been to in Manhattan, KS! read more

Came on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The place was pretty busy. When we walked in the staff was very friendly. The kids loved the dinosaur ramps. The terminals at the lanes are pretty modern, but there is no reset button. I never did figure out how to reset the lane. For $2 per game on Sundays, I was happy to bowl some frames here. The staff was friendly and the lanes were clean and well-maintained. There was a small section that was glow bowling and the majority of the lanes were what you'd expect at a bowling alley. I was not able to find a 12 lb. ball, so I made due with a 13 lb. Plus, during one frame, the screen said it needed to be reset, but there are no directions telling you how to do that and no reset button on the keyboard. Those were my only complaints. A fun place to bowl ECXEPT the lanes don't keep score correctly. Thought maybe it was just the lane I was on but it happened to other people in my party. Gave them another shot on another night and the same thing happened. It's very frustrating when you make a strike and it counts it as 3 pins :( read more

Well this place is pretty low on the bowling totem pole. They need to get a renovation on their lanes and bowling balls. Some of the balls for general use had divots the size of Texas in them. Having bowled earlier in the week at another place I could tell the difference in a big way. Their food was decent, the pizza actually had flavor and no cardboard filler in the crust. 2.5 stars is the final on this one...although I'd lean towards 2. Friendly staff. We had to have our lane reset 4 times due to some electrical glitch. read more

Just an update on the place. Some renovations have been done. New seating, scoring system and pins. Since the last review was done, there is new ownership as well. Thursdays and Sundays are $1 games, show rental, and well drinks. Can't get much better value than that. And house balls are always crap. They're free for you to use so don't expect anything other than the run of the mill there. Once the lanes are 100% remodeled (next year), I would have to give it 5 stars! read more

2nd time I came in a week and very displeased with the service, first time I came it was very unorganized and was told lanes we were supposed to be in just to find out we had to wait for another. The second and last time I came in was treated to horrible service. They don't have of age people behind the bar to service alcohol. On their door it says they close at 12 but they kicked us out 2 hours early with no explanation, will not be going back. read more

I don't know why this place has such a shaky middle of the road overall rating. My family of 6 went here for some thanksgiving fun and we had a great time. The alley was clean, as were the bathrooms and the staff was very friendly. We did not eat any food, so cannot comment on that. All I know is that we really enjoyed ourselves. read more

I just love the little bowling ramps for the little kiddos. Even my 3 yr old had a great time this year at our Christmas gathering. However we kept having issues where the reset button wouldn't work and who wants to keep calling the front desk for help. Multiple lanes were messing up so something needs to be done on the electronic side of things. The experienced bowlers want to make the most of their time. read more

Well, my family drove in from out of town and when we got there it was 9:00 pm the lights were off and the desk light was on inside and the doors were unlocked... I proceeded to enter and a guy popped out from behind the counter and said we are closed acting pretty shady, even though their sign said they closed at midnight, there was no additional signs that said they were going to be closed. As my family left to drive back home due to wasted trip from out of town, they turned on the lights to the sign out front. Touché Little Apple Lanes, touché. read more

Not happy with the service. After 18 dollars for a pitcher and two shots they asked us to leave before close. This is not the first time this has happened. I would frequent the place often until they lost service standards. I am writing this 1/8/16. I am going to call tomorrow to talk to a manager. I called many hours in advance to confirm closing time and still we were asked to leave an hour early they came to our table 3 times to let us know they were closing early even though we were paying customers. They did not ask us if we were staying they straight told us they were closing and to finish our game as soon as possible. Like I said this happens often enough to cause issue with me personally. I do not think I will be going back to this place even though it is the only alley in town. Driving to a larger establishment will be worth your money. read more

This place is excellent. They are nothing but friendly when we are there every week (yes, every week, Thursday is dollar bowling night and it is an UNBELIEVABLY great deal). They just renovated the whole place and it looks amazing. I highly recommend this for fun nights out in Manhattan. read more
