DO NOT recommend! I went there for a simple nose piercing and he said he would be able to do it. First he pierced it with a straight bar instead of L shaped. Then he didn't pierce it all the way through. The ring would not stay in. it kept falling out. he was shaking while trying to pierce it through. then a few days later the nose ring fell out and now i just have to go get it done again. read more

I had gone here before for help switching out a nose hoop with the stud, and the piercer was friendly and helped me out for $5. The next time I went, he had raised the price to $10 and told me about some other jewelry options. I was open to trying a different kind of hoop. The next 15 minutes were painful, confusing, and awkward as the piercer tried to make jokes. I have had my piercing for 14 years and it has never given me a problem. When this piercer was trying to change the jewelry out, it began to bleed and be extremely painful. He had to use a taper to get the hoop in (after wearing a smaller stud, this is normal, though it has never bled or hurt before) and it really felt like my nose was being repierced. At the end of the whole painful ordeal, he told me to treat it like a new piercing. It is still sore and uncomfortable and I feel frustrated that I had to pay for this incredibly uncomfortable experience. He didn't apologize or explain why this might have been happening. This place is awful. Travis was my artist and the whole time he kept trying to rush saying he had to go paint some mural. He didn't even finish my tattoo and begged me to let him finish it. It is the WORST tattoo I have and now I have to get it fixed by someone else. I would never walk into this store again even if they were giving out free money. I'm a bit disappointed in Liquid Dragon. I go there about once a month to buy jewelry, and today I went and asked for two o-rings to help keep my septum piece in--they fall out constantly. I have never been charged for these in my life, but the fellow, *after* allowing me to put them on my septum ring, asked if I was going to pay him. I explained that I was surprised and asked how much, and he responded with a look of confusion and said "I dunno, like a couple bucks." So he basically made up an arbitrary number so he could charge me something. I looked up the cost of o-rings on eBay, and--surprise!--it's $1.50 for a bag of 100. I wouldn't recommend these guys. *DO NOT GO HERE* & DEFINITELY *DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE* I got a small (&very simple) tattoo here a couples months ago that came out fine after having to get it touched up once. But when I got a piercing here it was the WORST experience at ANY tattoo or piercing parlor I have EVER had - & I have been to several - as each piercing and tattoo I have had is from a different place. (I have 5 tattoos & I have had 15 piercings altogether [but I only have 12 now]). I am ONLY writing this review because I don't want anyone else to have to experience what I went through here - it was VERY traumatic & excruciatingly painful. I consider myself to have a very high pain tolerance. Every single one of my tattoos or piercings was a piece of cake for me.. my industrial & collar bone dermals hurt the most out of all the piercings & tattoos I've had, but they were bearable & quick. I decided to get a conch piercing here, my boyfriend got a tattoo & paid for both. I honestly blame myself because the guy (who doubles as the [only] piercer and tattooer at this salon) said he would do my piercing for $20 if combined with my boyfriend's $50 tattoo - which is very cheap - they normally cost between $45-$70. But I had gotten my most recent (& as I said before, very simple) tattoo, so I trusted that it would be fine, & it was because he was cutting us a deal since my boyfriend was thinking about getting a tattoo there - so I didn't think too much of it. REGARDLESS - I decided to get my piercing first, before my boyfriend got his tattoo. Not long after I sat in the chair, the piercer came in, & he got his gloves on & the supplies out of his drawer for the piercing, he marked my ear with a pen like they normally do for piercings - But when it was time for him to pierce it, I realized VERY quickly that **HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING**. It took a very long time of him trying to push the piercing in again & again, until it finally went through (we had to stop a couple times because I couldn't handle the pain) So after we'd stop - he'd try again, & again, & again - & this went on for several minutes. It should have been a quick piercing, like most - not all depending on what it is - but this was a cartilage piercing, & I have gotten 3 cartilage piercings. They are quick & fairly painless. & the industrial is two piercings that are also gauged when they are pierced. I also looked online after this experience to double check, & my idea of what it SHOULD have been like were right. This piercing took *AT LEAST 10* minutes. I don't know exactly how long it took for him to finally shove the actual piercing through the hole that he made, but it was 9:09pm when I sat in the chair (I sent a text as I was sitting down) & we were there until almost 10:00pm - my boyfriends tattoo was very small, just a few letters - so his only took about 20 minutes. He spent the first five minutes or so trying to shove the jewelry in after piercing it, & then finally realized it wasn't going to go through.. So he got a bigger needle to make the hole bigger than the hole that the smaller needle made, & spent the next 5 minutes or so trying to push the jewelry through again, until he finally did. The pain I experienced here was like nothing I've ever experienced in my entire life. It was so extremely painful I just cried & cussed the entire time he was holding my ear (which, mind you, is something I have never done. & I have gotten dermals which are considered one of the more painful of piercings & also sat through a 2hr tattoo with one pee break & no problem pain-wise) Anyways, I would try to stay still & quiet after the first couple times of him trying to push the piercing through, but it was so incredibly painful - no amount of control could hold back the tears or keep me quiet. It was a nightmare. I'm not sure why I stayed still, I guess because I kept thinking that the next time he would get it in, but then he didn't and so he'd say its almost there - lets try again, & this happened several times. The pain was EXCRUCIATING. I was traumatized, & I don't use this word lightly. The last time he tried, I ended up yelling stop because it was ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE & I couldn't take it any more - & he shoved it through right as I said that. & he finally got it in. I was so relieved that it was over - still in excruciating pain - but not how it was with him repeatedly trying to pierce it through over & over & over again pulling and pulling on it. Afterwards, the piercer tried to play it off by saying that it's a really painful piercing to get, he said something about dermals (& I told him I had those & they were NOTING compared to what I just experienced). It was NOT me, nor the TYPE of piercing, it was HIM who did not know what he was doing. & this NEVER should have happened. It was absolutely traumatizing, & I hope that no one EVER has to go through anything like that. So, long story short, please, for your sake, DO NOT GO HERE. read more
