A small brewery offering a n interesting selection of beers My husband ordered a flight , including the Chingon- a Mexican Lager, Monarch Golden Lager, the Sad Thug, a sour , and an IPA. They have interesting options and the bartender was very nice, and we had a great conversation with him. Their beer is sold in a varirty of sore, including Woodman's which is a few minutes away. Liquid Love! My fiancée and I are traveling back from the North Shore area. We don't come up here often, so we had to hit some breweries on the way back. We stopped at Liquid Love Brewing on Buffalo Grove. It's a smaller brewery but extremely inviting. The bartender (could be owner too) was very friendly. I ordered the B**chfront Madbess sour. The food service and ambiance was exactly what we were looking for to end our day, we needed to kill some time before heading to a friends house and had our pup and the beer was life changing. My husband would have swore he hated sours before today. We had the best time, the beer tender gave us recommendations for other breweries because we're from out of town and we loved every second of it . We were able to fill out the rest of our week with his recommendation, we had some empty spots & he was the nicest. Plus he gave our pup balls and water. This is a must stop !! The. Beer. Is. I have been hearing about this place for a long time, so we finally decided to stop in. The inside is really funky (in a hip/ cool way) with the different pieces of colorful art on the wall. They also have a good amount of seating with bar seats and a bunch of different sized tables inside. This is a hidden gem within an industrial park, so I feel like they've made great use of the space that they have. This is a mostly sour beer brewery so if that's not your thing, you won't have many options. We tried a few different beers and each one was pretty tasty, I'm just not into seltzers or sours so much. The person working did make some great suggestions and let us try something that I didn't know if I could fully commit to in a big glass. Overall this is a pretty relaxed place - it seems like they rotate through their beers quite a bit so will be back to check out their other beers! read more

Three words: Mexican Chocolate Stout. This is something that can be very hit or miss, and theirs is just about perfect. I could drink nothing but this here and be completely satisfied, though I did also really enjoy the other beers I sampled. You have seating both inside and outside, and I think in nice weather, outside is more enjoyable. It's obvious the owner cares about customers and community, as we were visited by him several times during our two visits here on two separate days. Some of my favorite beers come from this place, especially the sours. The server was really friendly, attending to each person and rocking it since he was flying solo. There was a giant line out the door, so you know this place is. Definitely recommend the sour "Sad Thug" and the series' variants, in addition to the sour "Island" series. Came here to try some brews with family. We all have different tastes and I was happy that we each enjoyed something on the menu. The place is small but we were able to arrive early and grab a table. It was busy but not overly so. I also noticed they had board games to borrow while you're there. The beers/tasters were pretty pricey compared to other breweries in the area but they were tasty. I have been here a few times and have always had a fine time the staff hd never been super friendly but the beer is good so we keep coming back. That is until the last time that we came in, the person behind the bar was beyond rude to us the whole time and kept making comments about us being there and basically pushed us to close our tab and leave, even though the place was open and other people were there. We were all shocked because we weren't making a scene or anything just sitting in the corner chatting. As good as the beer is, I have no desire to ever go back to the taproom and be disrespected like that again. read more

Beer was ok and the atmosphere was good with a live singer out front. I had the sour that tasted a lot like orange juice, and very chalky.

After trying a number of Liquid Love's beer, finally made it to the source! Was not disappointed, really cool art work, great beer, good tunes too. It's a hidden gem in the industrial park, worth the drive from Chicago. Highly recommend checking these guys out! read more

Ehhh really nothing special to this one. In an industrial park with a real interesting vibe. Real dark with black walls and they play into the "love" with some hearts on the wall. When I went for the first time they had 6-8 beers. I asked the bartender if there was any particular beer they were known for or what their specialty is...she told me they are a sours brewery and they rotate all their beers with no consistent ones. They only had one sour on the menu. I would expect more then once If that's what they were known for. The ipa I got was alright but nothing special for the $7 for the 12 oz pour. We had been minding our own business at our table and the owner had the audacity to tell us in front of all the other customers out there that women cannot raise children properly without a man as a father. Waited over 10 min sitting at the bar for the server lady (possible wife of owner) to get me a beer after my first one because she was busy looking at a book or phone and never looked up the whole time to offer me more beer. Then 2 separate customers came in; 2 old men and a separate group of 5 people, and she served them first and she never came back to me at all. only once, after a tall older bald man (the owner) asked me if I needed anything after waiting then about another 10 minutes for just some beer. It was Bad service on her part and I was sitting at the bar. Nice lady, But left After my beer bc my business wasn't being appreciated but everyone else was being served and I was there first before any of these other customers and they all got service before me. She never came back to me until I decided to close out. Possible Good local beer but won't be coming back. Also beer samples are too pricey $5 for 5oz and they weren't even stouts, barrel or anything higher ABV. Just reg IPA maybe huggers was a 9% but the rest was 6-7% for $5/5oz?! Some wheats and Pilsner's were $3/5oz. first time being there, beer is not bad but better variety selections and service else where for cheaper or better beer.
