I have been going to Shelley for the past two years now and she is amazing! Recently, she started using the Rapid Spray Tan on me. I love this method because you can take a shower two hours after your spray tan vs. sleeping overnight with a sticky spray tan. In addition, if you want to be tanner, you wait longer to take a shower and if you want a lighter glow... you just take a shower sooner. 5 stars just doesn't seem enough for Marie at Liquid Sunshine, she literally saved my life! I went to some airbrush place in Willow Glen to have my first airbrush tan in preparation for my 40th birthday. I turned out blotchy, streaky, and totally uneven. I quickly looked on Yelp and saw all the positive reviews for LS and called. Marie answered and I was about in tears when telling her my horror story. She was so sweet and said she would work me into her busy schedule that evening. She told me how to prep for my appointment and get rid of some of the remains from my first tan. I went in Friday evening and she was an absolute doll. She sprayed me in a booth which the other place didn't even have. She was so thorough and took her time. She explained to me how to stand so she could evenly cover each area. When she was finished she had me stand in the booth to fully dry before getting dressed. The following day I took a shower and came out with a BEAUTIFUL FLAWLESS tan that looks AMAZING!!! It is so natural looking and is even all over. I am EXTREMELY happy with my experience and will definitely being going back to Marie again. If you have never had an airbrush tan or if you have and are looking for a new place, please give Liquid Sunshine a try, you will not be disappointed. read more

This was my first time ever getting a spray tan, and they did a fantastic job! I'm naturally very pale and light skinned, but they gave me a lovely "Sun kissed" look without looking overdone or fake. Being my first time doing this, I was a little nervous at first, but Shelley made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Ive been getting spray tans from Shelley and she has been so amazing - I will never go to anyone else now that I've seen such amazing results! I use to be really hesitant getting spray tans in general in the past due to bad experiences and streaks but someone suggested I go to liquid sunshine and see Shelley and I was so happy I did! I get the spray tan where you can shower a few hours later instead of having to shower the next day and it just looks so natural and lasts for a week on me. I've been to Kristy twice now and LOVE the results. My first experience was before a Havasu trip. It's nice to be able to sit in the shade and not worry about getting an even tan. It's done! I loved it! I had my first airbrush tan right before I went on vacation. It looked great the whole time. What I loved most about it was that I didn't have that smell that comes with it. Finding a great airbrush salon is not easy.. I have been to countless places and it always seems to be too light or even worse, too dark!! Shelley is absolutely AMAZING!! Shelley is the BEST sunless airbrush tanning expert! I have pale skin and always afraid of turning orange but she does exceptional work and customizes your tan to your skin. Other places are one shade fits all. She is very caring and made me feel comfortable event though Im practically naked. She takes the extra steps to ensure the tan is perfect and even gives you instructions to take home. I did the rapid tan which is 1-4 hours and then you can rinse off. It was perfect. I hate the sticky feeling of most tanning places I been to but her solution is not aloe Vera based so I never felt sticky. I highly recommend her! read more

I never liked getting sprayed tanned, it would always turn out streaky, blotchy, or too orange. However, I was in a wedding in a week and needed color. I was told to see Shelley at Liquid Sunshine and I would not be sorry...I may regret it because I would be hooked! Well that's exactly what happened! I loved Shelley, I loved her work, and I loved my tan! I see her twice a month and I am not even sorry about that. Some girls get their nails done, I get my tan done. Shelly is a pro! She takes her time and makes you feel comfortable. If she sees that your skin isn't taking the color properly she will ask you what you are using on your skin and really teach you to properly how to prepare your skin for your tan and how to take care of your tan for it to last afterwards. Im very very pale and I was concerned that the color would turn orange or fade patchy so I did a medium color tan and I love it! Ive been tanned by other people and this tan has lasted more than a week and its not blotchy or patchy at all. I haven't had to scrub my tan off like the other tans ive had. As I sit here and rate Liquid Sunshine '5 stars', I could only wish I could rate it a 10! I have been getting spray tanned by Shelley for the past few years and I can't get over how personable she is and what an amazing job she does with her tans! I've always gotten compliments on how great my tan looks and when I tell them it's a spray tan, they can not believe it! Recently, I have been trying her new 'rapid tan' product and you get to rinse after a few hours depending on how dark you'd like your tan to be! I've fallen in love with it! It's a natural golden brown, sun kissed tan and I still can't get over how natural it looks and so rapidly! I would recommend this tanning company and Shelley for anyone who wants to walk away from the appointment looking great, feeling wonderful about yourself and looking like you just spent weeks on the warm beaches of Hawaii! I had my spray tan administered by Marie (the spray tan artist who runs Liquid Sunshine) on Thursday (7 days ago). I wanted to write this review 6 days ago i was so pleased with the result. First off Marie is ultra passionate about the business of spray tanning. Second, my tan still looks great after 7 days of showering, exercising, and actually not even trying to be that careful about preserving the product that Marie administered. Also what i think is exceptional is Marie is a font of knowledge about what a good spray tan should look like and what other tanning artists will do right and do wrong. If you live in the southbay and Marie is not putting your spray tan on your body then you are an irresponsible spray tan customer and you don't care about your spray tan. This woman is simply the best their is, i can tell, and i don't need to go anywhere else to figure this out. Trust me.
