I was in just buying ice for our small bar/restaurant when our machine can't keep up with the heat…read moreand busy seasons. I purchased Ice for months last year: August, September, and October, about 50 bags per week at the max. Today I stopped in to grab 4 bags to check the quality and ice size to plan for the busy season ahead. I paid ahead, got my receipt, and started to load my ice. When grabbing the 2nd bag I tried to grab the 3rd at the same time but didn't want to rip or drop a 20lb bag of ice, so I only took one at a time. When grabbing the 4th and final bag the dude at the register, the same guy I was purchasing from all last year, told me that I already grabbed everything I paid for and accused me of stealing a fifth / extra bag. I explained that I didn't and only took one at a time. He insisted that I was stealing so I told him to come look in my car that was parked right on the curb; he refused to leave the counter and insisted that I took an extra bag. I took a picture of the ice in the back of the car to show him but he was rude and continued to say I took more, so i tried to remind him of all the business I gave him last year. He was a rude d*ick. I will not return to give this shop any money ever again. I work in another local small Buena Park business, and I was wearing my work shirt with the logo, AND I paid with a company card. I didn't need to steal a $5 bag of ice. F*uck you, get wrecked. See the picture with 4 bags in my trunk, check your cameras, you d*ick. In the picture: 4 bags ice, some boxes, & an empty grocery bag, Not 5 bags like I was accused of taking. Show the video if I stole something. Never returning to this shop.

He also said if I was a "whiskey nerd," then his store wasn't the place for me. When I mentioned that stores like BevMo and Total Wine have been getting some good bourbon lately, he responded with "then go there." I explained that I was specifically trying to support a smaller local business, and he replied that his store "didn't need it." Everyone can price products however they want, but the dismissive attitude and hostility toward a customer asking normal questions completely turned me off. I won't be returning.
