Happened upon Liquor Planet on my way from Nashville to the Atlanta area (forgot to grab my drink contribution for the event I was traveling down for). I remember leaving thinking, "I wish there was a liquor store (or planet) like this near where I live... it's clean as a whistle, the inventory/selection is larger than I've ever seen (and I've been to quite a few liquor stores), and the whole experience was just a pleasant one." I've gotten plenty of uber deliveries from this place before, but this time I decided to pick it up, and was not given what I ordered. They have a 750ml hunch punch moonshine and a blackberry moonshine 750ml on their website on the uber page for $3 and some change, I previously ordered it and got what I ordered, but this time employees argued me down and told me they weren't gonna sell it to me for that price even tho that's the price that was stated and the price I paid last time I purchased that SAME VERY ITEM. They were very rude and unprofessional. Treated me like I was the problem when Indeed they need to go and check their website they have with uber. Coming from out of state (PA) it's nice just to have beer, wine and liquor all under one roof! Prices are comparable to what we paid up north in most cases. They do have some things that are harder to find in other places, so we've taken family when they are in town so they can stock up. read more

Absolutely insane prices. Weller Full Proof at $199 and Stagg Jr. at $299...I will take my business elsewhere. As someone in the industry, I understand a small markup from MSRP on allocated SKUs, but this is just a greedy cash grab. This place is open and bustling. The workers wear masks (loosely in some cases) and ask us to socially distance. It is very clean. There are a million choices. The cold section is not as big as Of expect for a huge place like this. About the size of a normal smaller building. Still, I found Diskin and a new flavor nitro stout so I'm good. Had been a regular there for a few years, have noticed them strategically screwing over their own regulars until lately the last straw....they posted on Instagram about having a specific bourbon (not heavily allocated) so I drove 15 from my house downtown Murf to get it and they looked at me like I was crazy. Showed them their own post and "oh we are all out" except later that day I see "come back tomorrow" written to a person on their Instagram post. I get doing slow drops or even limit one per person, but this wasn't a big deal bottle hard to find bottle. I've spent quite a bit of money there (way overpriced Weller FP releases) and other allocated bottles but this was the last straw. I made a comment on there insta about it and instead of communicating back to me they simply deleted it. Perfect example of sweeping things under the rug... I had friends in a bourbon group tell me negatives about this place, but I guess I had to learn for myself. read more

Had a great experience at this store today that deserves a write up. While waiting in line for some of their allocated bourbon the owner came out and opened a couple of hard to acquire bottles and let everyone in line try a little. They definitely take good care of their customers here. read more

Messaged on FB to ask if they had an allocation of pappy left, they answered right away which was nice, so we drove an hour to come check it out. When we got there we asked how much for a bottle, the staff member didn't know so he called the owner and gave the phone to my boyfriend. The owner then explained that he would sell a set of the 10-23 for $4000 or one single bottle of 15 or 23 for $3200. That is way beyond 3rd party pricing (a place in bowling green was selling for $995 for 23). This is also HIGHLY ILLEGAL. Please do not give this business your money, as I walked throughout the store the majority of items were overpriced by $2-$5. Needless to say we will be informing the buffalo trace distillery to hopefully shut down their allocation. read more

This store is completely dishonest. I was told over the phone they had received an allocation of Buffalo Trace Antique and Pappy Van Winkle. I was not told how much they were over the phone, even when I asked. I went to the store to find out that in order to purchase any of the previously mentioned bottles, I would be required to purchase multiple cases of what I would call "dead stock" or bottles that won't move. Come to find out even if I had purchased the additional bottles (24 total bottles extra) just to buy the Pappy or Buffalo Trace, they marked up the cost of the bottles themselves! They wanted $150 for the 10 year which is $65 retail and $200 for the 12 year, which is $80 retail! Had I bought the additional bottles that brings my grand total to well over $500 for either bottle! What a greedy establishment and terrible owners! read more

I purchase the same liquor each visit. Once they charged me more for the same thing and I knew something was off. They screwed me on taxes. I'm pretty sure they have a "sucker" button on each register to add additional taxes and no one is the wiser. Do your research online and do the math (final price +9.75% taxes) and know how much in case they try this stunt with you. Do NOT recommend them due to their dishonesty on taxes and final purchase price. read more

Been here multiple times buying anything from beer, wine, whiskey. I've had up and down customer service while in this establishment. Last night was the last time. I know we got there 10 minuets before they closed but why are you doing a countdown telling customers when they need to leave. My wife was having trouble finding a certain mixer she went to the register and asked them for help they told her where they thought it would be instead of taking the time to get it for her. Customer service is lacking a lot here. read more

I was kind of thrilled last summer when this huge place opened, right down the street from my residence, making it very convenient to restock on the wine and beer at the end of my week, replacing my usual supplier, a mile further away. Having been there several times, I really wanted to like this place, but they're just not that friendly, the staff I mean. Often, they let me wander the aisles, looking for my selection without offering assistance. Then when I check out, they don't use common courtesy, like saying please, and thank you. The young guys behind the counter, they act like they're doing me a favor, waiting on me. Often they have a smirk on their faces like I interrupted some private joke they have going. Tonight was probably my last visit. I bought wine and beer and the cashier didn't smile, say hello, or thank you. Just shoved a receipt at me to be signed. Honest to God guys, I'm not here to piss you off. End of story. Back to my usual, much friendlier, if smaller store. read more

I regularly drive ~ 90 miles round trip to come here for my libations. Pass a bunch of stores on the way, too. Staff has ALWAYS been friendly to me, they know what they stock and where, and are helpful. It is a big store as liquor stores go. Great selection of liquors. They have special ordered stuff for me - I just got off the phone making an order. I cannot even come close to matching the prices where I live in south Tennessee. Add to that the chance to try free small samples of assorted stuff, which has introduced me to some new favorites. Plus, an assortment of beers from Nashville and NC that I can't otherwise get where I live, as well as a wide wine selection - and what is not to like? I'm usually bringing two to four cases home per trip, and the staff even walks them out the door and loads them for me. 5 stars! read more
