This was my first visit to a Ramen house, and I really enjoyed it! To begin with, the service was great! Our server walked us through the menu and the specials, and was attentive even when the restaurant hit the dinner rush. We started with tea and steamed buns. The pork in the buns was tasty, with a unique spicy mayo, although the buns themselves had a strange texture. Then we tried the Chicken Rich Ramen. Very happy with our ramen choices. The pork in the tonkotsu was pretty generous & I love that it's a bone broth. Hubby loved his Tantanmen & thought the broth was delicious. Finally! After searching the greater Nashville area far and wide for great ramen I had to go to a whole different county! But it was worth it. I've lived all over including heavily Asian cities, plus traveled throughout Japan, so perhaps my standards are high. I haven't had the best service here but my server, Rylee, from the last visit was everything. She was fast, attentive, patient, and apologetic when she thought she took too long to check on my party. The food was still delicious so I'm jumping my rating up 1 star. Where do I start!!! This location has a free private lot. Love the aesthetic, it was contemporary, crisp and clean as I hoped, for it being my first time here. Their dining area is a semi small space for dining but has lots of sitting. We came on a Sunday and we waited about 4-5 minutes to get seated. Our waitress was great, she was patient, cheerful and knowledgeable of the menu and recommendations when I had lots of questions. My MIL gotten the Spicy Beef Ramen: She gave it 2/5. Presentation was nice but the taste wasn't there. Had to add salt, pepper and chili oil to give it more taste but still wasn't satisfied. (Also, she's not a ramen eater so it could be different for others). I've gotten the Tonkotsu Shoyu: I'm giving it a 5/5 for me. Loved the sliced pork, it was marinated well and wished i had more. A fork would have gone well with the ladle, but we stayed true to form with the chopsticks! Broth was amazing; all elements of the bowl were perfectly nestled in there, just like the pic on the menu! This was my first having this ramen spot and I must say that packaging was great for me. They kept all of my food separated in a bowl with the noodles in the base and the toppings on top! I tried the TANTANMEN and it was good to me. I should have added an extra egg and increased my spice level. Everything tasted fresh and so I got the same feeling as if I went to the actually place. Definitely recommend their signature Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen. It has that "cooked all day" bone broth taste I've been looking for, and it bursts with hearty garlicky flavor. I got the "veggie ramen" If you live in Murfreesboro and are looking to stay local and you want ramen, this is a good option. Brothers ramen (the other ramen option in the boro) has better ambiance, but this place is still new so I'm not deducting points for that. However, if you want GOOD ramen, I would still travel to Nashville for black dynasty or otaku which has this place beat by miles. This place is convenient and cheaper than the ones in Nashville, but your taste buds won't be as happy.
