As far as value, we have insurance and the deductibles are all the same across pharmacy providers, however, I have received compounded perceptions that have not been covered by insurance and found them competitively priced with the exception perhaps of an online compound pharmacy. Easier and more trustworthy to use my local pharmacy, as the difference wasn't enough to compel taking a chance.

Dr. Bateman and her staff take the time to listen to patients, address any concerns, make appropriate referrals, and take the time to make sure you are treated with dignity, respect, and actually feel like a person. At times, the wait can be long, but as I have told my kids and friends, I would rather wait a little longer and have a doctor that actually spends time examining me, listening to my concerns, addressing those concerns and treating me respectfully over the doctors that I have had in the past. I have gone to doctors in other health practices that are late and just tell me what they will be doing and act like they are doing me a favor. I have NOT had that experience here. best doctor i've ever had - and my standards are HIGH. and…read morehe's a total 'mensch' besides ("mensch" means "a genuine and decent and trustworthy person; someone who will treat you right, and really relate to you, and always as an equal"). there's something about the medical profession that seems to attract folks who are ok professionally, but who don't really relate to you on a human level. so that's one of my main criteria, and it doesn't get any better than dr. jeff harris. his medical knowledge is astonomically superior to most, and his treatments are holistic (even though he doesn't call them that; but he's just as likely to prescribe a vitamin, as a pharmaceutical drug). his office personnel are excellent, too: caring and top-notch, just as you'd expect from a doctor of this caliber. he's been a successful, licensed, practicing physician for well over half a century, and he has been my primary md for about 25 years. and he's kinda known as 'malibu's doctor' - but if you live in northridge - trust me - he's well worth the drive.
