Scott" So, of course I text Ashley back to inform her, that not only is Gail confused but Scott is too. I called her, no answer, then I called the store and spoke with Danielle. After bringing Danielle up to speed and asking her for the next steps, and even asking why everyone seemed to be so abrasive when I am just asking for the next steps. Her excuse was that "Well it is Saturday and we send out thousands of birthday cakes, wedding cake orders out, so we are really busy. I have been here 17 years and Saturday is the busiest day, so we have policies and everything is on the website." I then asked "is this a good reason to be rude to someone on a busy Saturday when they are just trying to book?" - Ladies & gents... long story short, "Yes" that's every reason for them to be extremely rude and abrasive to customers, because we all should know their 145 step process and exactly what to do. After 17 years you would think their staff would learn professionalism and how to serve others. The whole booking experience is unpolished and confusing. Do better, and be polite to the very customers that keep your business "busy". And if your process was so seamless, then I definitely would not be calling with so many questions. I would never recommend this place to anyone, this experience was unacceptable and extremely disappointing, the owner needs a better team. I've had a better experience at the local Kroger for a $30 sheet cake than here. I wish this experience on no one, especially for celebrations needing a cake. Support a business that appreciates you as the customer and is willing to educate you no matter how "busy" they are and important they think they are. Save your time and money. Within a day or two they responded, and I paid the balance, which was very reasonably priced. The week of the event, I asked for confirmation for my order via email - that was seamless. When picking the cakes up, they were well packaged. Stiff board, vented box (so the icing didn't run), and decorated cakes exactly like I had ordered. We cut into the cakes the next day - and they were SO fresh. I ordered one in marble and one in white/vanilla. It was like they had just been baked. Thank you for making our events memorable.
