It took an unreasonable amount of time to get an appointment, and our stated availability was repeatedly disregarded. When we finally secured a session, we were told the assigned therapist would be out for a week. Shortly after, we learned she had actually left the company entirely. We were then scheduled with Melissa the clinical manager. During that conversation, the provider recommended that the sessions take place at their facility. We clearly declined and explained that we wanted the initial session to occur in our home. After communicating that preference, the appointment was rescheduled. As parents, coordinating therapy appointments requires planning, adjusting work schedules, and arranging childcare. The repeated delays, staff turnover, poor communication, and last-minute scheduling changes showed a complete lack of respect for our time. What should have been a straightforward onboarding process turned into weeks of frustration. If reliability, organization, and communication are important to you, this was not our experience with this provider.

I asked every time I visited what my copay was at the front desk (or for a rough estimate). Not once was I given an answer or even an estimate. Chava Sheilds did absolutely nothing but have me wait in the waiting room, leave early to pick up her kid, tell me to read/listen to an audio book, and showed me a YouTube video. The only slightly helpful thing she did give me, was a blader schedule homework, and a 5 min physical evaluation, which came with no new exercises, that I wasn't already doing on my own before seeing her. She provided no help what-so-ever and billed me a month later $1,200.00 for the three sessions. They do this knowing you have PPO ...and knowing the patient hasn't met the PPO deductible. Her manager even admitted that they knew it would be high but not an exact amount which is why I wasn't told. But with how crappy and drawn out the sessions were, not receiving any help... I wouldn't have paid or gone knowing I was going to be charged any substantial amount larger than a specialist copy of $80... and that's' being generous for her time (not anything she did). So glad I couldn't book her weekly like she wanted me too! ABSOLUTE GARBAGE OF A BUSINESS AND SCAMMY TACTICS.

After having surgery for DQT (De Quervain Tenosynovitis if you didn't know), I had to sign up for physical therapy. Being stubborn, I didn't think I would need this but figured I'd give them one try to see what it was like. The fact my insurance covers absolutely nothing towards this put me off as well, but that's my terrible insurance, not the fault of Artistic Advantage. For my first time, I was put with Martha for the hour, and she was great! I learned a lot, and to this day, I still do some of the exercises learned. I've been back three times total now; the second time I had a great girl who taught me some new techniques, including a massage that I have faithfully done nightly. Prior to my third visit, I have been feeling some tightness/soreness above the incision, so we focused on that area on my 3rd visit. I had Martha again, and am applying some new things to my daily methods. Some of these are so simple I can do these at work, even while driving. The one thing I slack on is the heat method, and I even own a ice/hot pack. I know it's something I need to do more, and when they applied this at the office, it felt really good. The team here is great, and my visits are spread out far enough where I can work on myself and hopefully improve. I'm glad I was referred to Artistic Advantage, and I look forward to my few visits a year.

We had a bad experience with this business in the past. It was only one PT there and a part-time…read moresupport stuff. PT was not knowlegeable and made my right knee pain worse. Her one exercise was especially harmfull - she put all my body weight on this knee with a knee angle less than 90 degrees and without any support. After a few sessions my knee pain level increased and I stopped going. PT told me that she could never ever feel her own glute muscles to contract (?!). I never met anyone who could not learned or feel their glutes to contract. It is a big limitation, especially for a PT. How do you train patients to contract it then? Glute muscles contraction is extremely important to prevent injuries and in rehab. I was surprised that she choose PT field. Do not recommend.

My daughter worked with two OT therapists before meeting Kiana, but neither were as thorough or as helpful as her. I cannot thank Kiana enough for her incredible patience and for taking the time to explain almost everything she works on with my daughter. A big thank you also goes to Hannah for being just as amazing when she stepped in to cover. My daughter also worked with another covering therapist Carrie, and she was just as helpful and kind. Overall, every therapist we've encountered here seems to give 100% to each child. I fully trust that my daughter will always have a positive and productive experience every time she comes.

Prior to him attending Helping Hands, he was saying his ABCs and 123s but not correctly. He's been non verbal basically and still can't put a sentence together, but now he started saying mom and dad because of this program.
