My girls and I live in Riverpark area, but wow, we are so happy we drove by this shop because it is definitely worth coming here if you want good customer service and the perfect set of nails. This was my second time going. The first time was okay didn't like the colors are lighter than usual like they have in their books. She was rough and it hurt but thought it's what it is....The second time I went she hurt me multiple times cutting my nails. And prepping. I bled and also the scrubbing of my feet she over did it and made my skin raw, and told her stop she kept doing it anyway. It took about 50 min to do a simple pedicure. So I came in during the morning at their opening time. When I went in, it wasn't that busy and I was seated right away. I got a basic mani and pedi. The pedi was okay for the most part. But when I got home, I realized that my toenails weren't as round as I would have liked them to be (I asked for them to be shaped round). And during the pedi, my nail tech using a sanding band on my calluses, which is not safe or recommended. Being a nail tech myself, I know this shit. Also, I felt that the massage was a little too quick. Now for the manicure. This is where problems started showing up. I asked for my nails to be round as well, and my nail tech didn't make them as round as I would've preferred. She also decided to use a big drill bit with the sanding band on my cuticles, instead of using a smaller drill bit with a smaller sanding band. She was also kind of aggressive when she worked on my cuticles, and as a result, accidentally tore some skin on one of my fingers, causing it to bleed. Now I decided to show some grace and told her it was alright, because that will happen sometimes, but it wouldn't have happened if she had just used a smaller drill bit or just used her nippers. As for the buffing, for whatever reason, she decided to use a big buffer on my nails, which was completely unnecessary. One of those small, rectangular shaped buffers would've done the job. Now my nails have scratch marks on them as a result of that big buffer she used. The only good thing I can say is that she got my mani/pedi done quickly. But again, it wasn't that busy at that time, which means she had a good amount of time to do a better job. I paid $50 for the mani/pedi and gave an $8 tip, just to be polite. She just kept clipping the skin on my baby toe until she cut it, then I noticed after I got home she had started to do the same on my middle toe. You can see them in the picture. I went there last week and the lady right by the register is the one who did my nails and she cut me 6 different times. She was very rough the entire time and I had to keep having her fix things that were off due to her rushing. All of my nails were not even, she didn't even bother asking me what colors she just picked the ones she wanted and she didn't even do the full design that I asked her if she could do which she said yes. *sexual harassment & intimidation* I never write reviews, however I felt I had to share my experience with the male technician on staff here at Lisa's Nails. I've been coming for the past 3 months as I have appreciated their work. On 7/5/25, I received a gel pedicure from the male technician, I was not provided a name. The gel pedicure went well, was done great & quickly. However at the end of the gel pedicure, the male technician stated, "Sexy color for your toes, if you don't have a boyfriend, I can come and take care of it for you." This implied sexual commentary & made me feel very uncomfortable. I responded "I have a fiancé thanks." I sat down to get my gel manicure completed, but then recognized that the comment did not sit well with me and I did not feel comfortable sitting with this man for another 45 minutes. I went to wait for my family member who had gotten their nails done with me to finish. He came up to me and told me to sit down. I told him his comment was inappropriate and I would not be getting my hands done by him. I sat down where I previously was, and he came back and aggressively put a liner on the chair I was sitting in and deliberately and intentionally hit my leg. I then got up and said what are you doing and he walked off. I told the woman nail technician next to me what the male was doing and he was being inappropriate and using sexually harassing language. They said they would speak to him and called for a manager. I told them I just wanted to pay and would not be getting my manicure done with them. The manager was apologetic and comped our pedicures, however I was made very uncomfortable and unsafe by the male technician. I would recommend the female staff, however if getting your work done by the male staff member I would request a new technician, as he makes sexual commentary & appears to try to intimidate (intentionally being aggressive & hitting my leg) young women. While I appreciate the female staff, to condone this type of behavior is not okay and continues to perpetuate an unsafe environment. read more

I only ended up here because my sister was desperate to get her nails done and didn't want to go alone. Had I come here alone, I would've walked out as soon as I saw the state of the room/floors/tools and NO SOCIAL DISTANCING OR CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS. The place is very unkempt and dirty..there's no way they sterilize things between customers because they heard them in like cattle. I came in with a pedicure that was about a month old that I got done in Vegas (and it was still in really good shape) so I regret having them do it because now here it is three days later and it's chipped already. THREE DAYS! First of all there's zero social distancing and the lady in the chair next to me was about 7 inches from me. We could have bumped elbows.. there was no plexiglass between us. Thankfully everyone was wearing masks and I'm vaccinated (hoping that I'm protected). The pedicure they gave me only took about 10 minutes if that, she made some of my nails square which I hate and I did not ask for.. The others were left in their natural round state. So they were mismatched. The water in the basin was cold and she took the protective cover out before having me move my feet, their towels are all stained/dirty/ripped/crusty, they look and feel like they're reused all day until they're too dirty THEN they wash them.. The tools are reused without being sterilized. When I go to places I see them open up the package that comes from being sterilized in an autoclave and I can bet you they don't even wash them in soap..I guess I should be thankful that I don't have an infection (yet). I wish I could give them a fourth of a star and that's only because the person giving me a pedicure had a positive attitude, other than that nothing good comes out of this place. read more

I am usually greeted very kindly and they ask immediately what would your request for service would be. I always get a manicure with nail tips and gel coat. I went on today around 1pm and a masculine presenting person looks at my nails and asks what I would like. I state what I would like (a gel manicure square) mind you I have short nails but I've asked this for minimum a amount of 5 times. In comes a feminine presenting person. Looks at my nails LAUGHS and then says "oh trust me we can't do square nails on you." Umm excuse me? I looked up and asked "Do you all not do nail tips?" She said no we do. do you want nail tips but with gel but we can't do that. Another feminine presenting person comes up and talks to the other 2 people and then asks me if I wanted a manicure with nail tips and gel? I said yes! She told them to do that. And the person doing my nails HURT my nail bed they were filing them so hard it felt as if my nail beds were on fire! And to top it off they gave me the wrong color. And the shape wasn't why I asked! Basically gave me duck nails! I am in awe! They usually do such a great job, that's why I say maybe. Please just don't go to chair number 3 if a male presenting person is going to do your nails. Other than just this experience I would give them 5 stars. They are usually great and they give you a massage and ask if you like your nails as well as the nail art itself (French tips/ rounded and "V") are amazing! read more
