Both techs are detailed and take their time doing pedicures and manicures. This place is really hit and miss. It's a struggle. They provide an above average service for an affordable price. I'm going to be as fair as possible, and keep my emotions out of facts. They practice good hygiene. They change out the plastic and sanitize the tools. Where this place becomes shady is the constant bullying to upcharge and it's "cash only" practices. I had one gentleman charge me $10 more for an upcharge when the entire room heard me repeat "no" on a loop. Part of the pressure is cultural but not professional. POLITE DOES NOT WORK HERE. I was considering a pedicure today and was counting out my money, because of cash only. The lady took my money and said she'd hold onto it if I wasn't ready for a pedicure. This was the last straw for me. Good work, but not worth the confrontation, theft and stress. read more

Her husband did my nails (he was quiet and nice) when i asked to get one of the nails fixed because it was crooked she kept telling me it wasn't crooked and there was nothing to fix. She talked me into dip nails which are thick and look horrible. At the end i was still trying to tip her husband for his time and she went ahead and threw my tip back into my purse. First of all I want the Yelp community to know that Holly's Nails is not the same ownership as Jade Nails that used to be there previously. Holly and her husband are new to Fresno and have completely remodeled this salon into a clean, beautiful, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. They are the nicest couple I ever met! I went in as a walk-in on a Friday needing a pedicure really bad. I wanted a full set but Holly was already with a client and asked if I could wait. I was pinched on time so I just got a pedicure only. Her husband came in within 5 minutes and did a beautiful job. My 7 year old was sad because she wanted a pedicure too. They were so nice to her and made her feel comfortable by allowing her to relax in the massage chair. They offered a free refreshment to us and a candy bowl to choose from. After Holly finished with her client,, she was so sweet to paint my daughter's nails. My daughter was so happy! The whole experience was the best I ever had at any salon! It smelled good in there, it was clean. Relaxing music lighlty playing and scenic video on big screen. I was very impressed , and loved the way my toes looked and felt.. They will definitely see me over again. Please give this place a visit. I would definitely recommend. Appointments are encouraged because it is only the pair working for now. read more

I came here with my mom the other day for some well deserved girl time. We walked in and were greeted right away by a friendly lady. We told her we both wanted pedicures, she asked us to pick out our polishes and have a seat while they got our pedicure spas ready. We sat down and they made sure our water temperature was just right for us, asked us if we'd like a magazine and if we'd like our massage chairs turned on. Best massage chair I've ever sat in if you ask me. Our pedicures were so relaxing and done in a comfortable time setting, we never once felt like we were being rushed out or the ladies were trying to hurry as fast as they could. We got a little foot and leg massage as well. I was so happy with how my nails turned out! My mom as well. This is definitely our new nail spot. You wont be disappointed. read more

I was disappointed the first time I came to get a full set. My nails were left so bulky for my hands and when I was telling her that I wanted them slimmer and more thin she kinda smirked and tapped my hand and said "I'll drill later". Anyways I left unhappy. I came again for a pedi out of being desperate and thought well it may be different because it's with her husband and maybe he works better. I live close by so I thought I'd give it a second shot. I REGRET IT SO MUCH. My pedicure is ugly. He trimmed my toe nails so freakin short from the top and than cut from the sides. TALK ABOUT LAZY. My toe nails look small :( DONT COME HERE. I love this place! The ladies are so funny and they are freaking fast! A friend and I came in for full sets and we were in and out in mayyyybbeee 45 minutes. And boy, they have a lot of polish choices. I know that seems obvious, but seriously I was like dannnngggggg. Also, they clean up your cuticles real nice without making you bleed. (Mine are particularly terrible, I bite the skin around my nails. He made them look so good!) And! I watched them clean the hell out of those pedicure tubs. We were both very disappointed with the workmanship she received. My niece mentioned things she would like fix like nails being very noticeable different sizes and length when comparing both hands, but the lady was more interested in going home. She wanted us to come back the next day. We got in the car and I was frustrate with the lack of quality of work. We placed a call seeing if they would discount the poor service because she was going to need to pay to have someone else fix them. She said no refunds and we would need to come back. We got off the phone and about 5 minutes later we called back to see what time to come back in the morning only to find she blocked our phone number. Who does that. Poor customer service and poor work. I would recommend saving your time and money and pick a different place. read more
