Listo El Pollo has these three sauces, the yellow, white and the green, when you put them all together on the Lomo it is absolutely delectable, amazing flavour. The wood fired chicken is very good too, as well as their ceviche options. If you dine in, it's a small room with enough tables to accommodate most of the time, they bring out your drinks, plates and sauces to use, great service. They have a large TV and the dining room is a dark brown, very cool experience. Absolutely delicious Peruvian food, give it a try if you're in the area. I was served chicken that was clearly undercooked--raw in the center. That's not just a minor mistake, it's a serious health risk. Was looking for something open a little later and found this place. The description says laid back, and it was that. At first look it looks like a sitdown restaurant style, but you order up at the front first here. We asked for recommendations, and were told about their rotisserie chicken and lomo saltado, so we got that and a fried fish. The food took quite a while to come out (downsides of ordering a whole chicken, maybe?), but it was so much food! I came with 4 people and we finished maybe 60% of it, so lots of leftovers. I was very impressed with how the chicken was grilled, but still had very crispy skin. Also, their French fries are really good, which is great because the chicken comes on a HUGE bed of them! I went in yesterday to get some chicken when I got home the chicken was raw and the fries had mold on them. The person that cooked my food was hella rude when I complained about my order. Located in a smallish plaza. Parking is a little tough and tight. So if you have a large SUV, it might be a little tight or difficult to find parking here. As soon as I walked in, I can smell the mesquite they use to cook the chicken. I ordered the whole chicken dinner with rice and fried plantains. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for them to prep my food to go. Got home and noticed the smell of the mesquite and you can taste it on the chicken also. It's not overpowering by any way. The chicken has good flavor to it and was juicy. Even the breast meat was moist. But I did notice that once the chicken cooled down, the meat was no longer moist. That's what my wife said, but I didn't really notice it that much, but it definitely was not as moist as when I brought it home. The rice tasted like it was cooked in butter and some chicken broth. It was flavorful and reminded me of white rice from Versailles. The plantains were pretty good, though I prefer them to be softer. It was not overly sweet, but sweet enough. Overall, I will be adding this place as a dinner option when I'm in the mood for chicken. Oh, they do give you 3 sauces. One green, a yellowish and ranch. My go to is the green cilantro sauce. It's got a kick, but was not spicy to me. The yellow sauce tasted like it had spinach in it. I could be wrong, but that's what I tasted. Though the green and yellow sauces were good, I though all 3 were on the salty side. If they pulled back on the salt, then it would have been close to perfect. read more

Parking situation is absolutely horrible. Located in a sketchy part of the Valley. I found parking. Walked inside and it was absolutely empty. I was greeted quickly and ordered the half Pollo con Platanos y Papas. This place easily accommodates small groups of 2-6 people. I also ordered an Inka Cola. I was given a cup with ice and a straw. The chicken was quite possibly the best roasted chicken I've had in LA. It had a bit of a smoky aroma and the skin was slightly burnt to a beautiful crisp. The meat was just incredibly tasty and so well cooked. I poured the green Peruvian sauce they use and the flavors were enhanced so well. I personally like eating my Platanos until they cool down significantly. They were sweet and so good. They're fries, didn't seem special. But I gotta tell you they have thick cut fries and they season them so well. Paired nicely with my chicken. Overall, the Hospitality was just right. Food came out in a respectable amount of time. I had seen this spot before and had seen some reviews on yelp but had never checked it out. Today, I happened to be in the same plaza, had already bought pupusas from next door and decided to come inside and see their menu. The guy/server taking the orders was helpful, friendly and even made several recomendations and also explained what some of their dishes consisted of. His name I believe is Cesar. I can definitely say their service is on point. I ordered their popular lomo saltado de res, it comes with rice and potatoes and was impressed with the portions. Ordered this on Uber eats on a Monday night for dinner. It took maybe about 45 minutes to get delivered but the restaurant is not too far from us. We decided to get the lamb saltado, the half chicken with fries and beans, and the mussels appetizer. I regret getting the mussels honestly because I'm not a huge fan of raw onions and tomatoes with seafood but that was my mistake. The ingredients seemed fresh though. What gave this review a 5 star anyways was the lamb and chicken. Both were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. They were DELICIOUS and so herby!! A friend of mine recommended Listo el Pollo. I drove from the North side of the Valley to Reseda to try it. The venue is small but good enough to sit at a table and eat. We ordered a family chicken meal that came with two sides for $40.00. The meal will not feed a family though because my aunt and I shared the meal and ate all the chicken with the exception of two pieces. They do give you a lot of potatoes and the rice was like two kitchen spoon full. However, the chicken was amazing and full of flavor. I think this is my new fav rotisserie chicken! Potatoes also had really good seasoning so that was another wonderful treat. It is pricy but if you think about it's about $20 per person so buy another chicken for 4 people. The family meal does include a regular Coke or an Inca Cola. Parking is limited and in a small strip mall. You may have to park on the street. It's next to Yoshinoya so you can't miss it. I didn't know what to expect when coming to this place because the reviews are kind of all over the place. Ultimately I give this place four stars because it was tasty but left some things to be desired. Ambience was fine. clean and cute, however it was a little dark in there. my biggest qualm with the ambiance was that they had a very large TV playing very loudly throughout the restaurant. It was so loud it made it hard to have conversation with my dining partner. The menu had lots of options, and unfortunately I didn't get to try any of the seafood dishes which looked very good. For someone who doesn't speak Spanish I could see the menu being a little overwhelming, which they tried to remedy with photos. The gentleman working the register was also very kind and took his time explaining different menu items like the papa relleno and answered all of our other questions. Customer service was great. We tried a chicken dish and the lomo saltado. Both were very good. I disagree with some of the other reviews that said the fries were bad. I found the fries to be delicious. They managed to be quite crispy even though they are a thicker cut and had quite a bit of caramelized onions and meat on top. So that was well done. The rice that was herbed that came with the chicken was very good as well. Overall we really enjoyed our food. Food was also served with three sauces. I found the green sauce to be absolutely delicious. At $20 per plate, I felt the price point was a bit off. While the ambiance was not there, the restaurant was casual and the food was pretty good. What a waste of time.. so we called the restaurant and they told us that they were open until 10, we got here with the whole family at 8:50p. When we got here, they told us that they couldn't serve us unless we were taking it out to go. The server was very rude and laugh about it when he try to explain to us why we couldn't be served. Not sure why I got refused dine-in service, when a party of 6 ordered right before me and they were allowed to stay and dine in. It was just my boyfriend and I, we each ordered a meal, nothing was extra. If it was because my boyfriend is African American, then they should post a sign saying they refuse to serve anyone but their own kind! When I approached the cashier and asked him why they were allowed to stay and eat but we weren't, I got a bullshit excuse saying they had gotten here earlier, which if that was the case, then why did they complete their order seconds before I approached the front counter?
