I came here to celebrate the life of my boyfriend's grandpa. It was the perfect spot because he was from Argentina! we were a big party and the staff was great and fast with their service! The ambiance was very cute and I love the energy that it brought. everyone ordered pretty much the same thing. I don't know what it's called but it the thin fried chicken or steak! It was so amazing and very filling. Loved that it had great flavor. Overall it was a beautiful experience!

Food was all amazing! The bread and chimichurri sauce are a great way to introduce you to the wonderful flavors that you are about to experience. The empanadas were tasty and a great appetizer. To try the best of the menu we got the Parilla pampas. The meat was wonderfully flavorful and filling. The Cesar salad and fries were both tasty and delicious accompaniments. The sangria was nicely balanced, not to sweet, not to strong. The service was great! The waiter asked if we had questions, and was helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant is casual but feels like a fine dining establishment. The complete meal was so tasty and satisfying. Definitely worth treating yourself if you are in the area. A must try if you love steak.

Very enjoyable dinner at the BAG. Because I grill my own steaks at home at 1/3 of the price charged at most steak houses, if I do eat out at a steakhouse, I prefer Argentinian or Brazilian style since they offer a variety of cuts. We got two different parrillas. Both very hearty, tasty and reasonably priced. My wife usually skips skirt steak but she actually liked it here. Flanken short ribs were also excellent. Love the short rib empanadas. Good selections of Argentinian Malbec and blended wine by the glass. Fast and friendly service. Next time you crave a steak, check out BAG if you are in the Northridge area.

We decided on Buenos Aires Grill for Valentine's Day and we are so glad we did! My husband made a reservation, and we overheard that there was an hour and a half wait but we were seated immediately in a cozy booth. The restaurant feels like a great spot to catch a soccer game. They had a special going on with a fixed menu but my heart was set on their steak with chimichurri butter and it did not disappoint. We started off with the empanadas beef and spinach, which were absolutely delicious! For dessert, we had the tiramisu, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Stopped by Buenos Aires Grill on a busy Saturday (Valentine's day) without a reservation and waited around 30 minutes. Service was lovely and so friendly which I appreciated. Loved the complimentary bread with chimichurri sauce and tomatoes! What we ordered: Breaded calamari with marinara and tartar sauce - super tasty and a very generous portion, perfect for sharing. I just wish they were a bit crispier Parrilla Completa - includes skirt steak, short rib flanks, grilled chicken breast, and marinated grilled shrimp skewers. The dish is shareable and meant for 2 people. Loved the presentation, and it comes with fries and a small salad! The ribs were absolutely delicious and the skirt steak was cooked to a perfect medium as we ordered but the outside felt a little too charred and tough for my liking Overall, a lovely spot in the Valley for some delicious Argentinian food! Would love to come back and try their empanadas too!

This place is a gem. The food was delicious. The filet mignon was super tender and their spinach cream is to die for. We were a large group of 11 people and service was great. Prices were very reasonable.

Beautiful atmosphere Take note that they do charge for bread And then charge a Kitchen tax on your order

We decided to come back with friends but on a Wednesday night at 6:30 instead. Sat at a table in the area where the music was but it was very loud and tightly packed with tables and guests. I could barely hear my friends due to the loud conversations, loud laughter, and just the acoustic affects in the restaurant were bad from that. We ordered steak, sides, and thought baked potatoes but got mashed instead. After we ate dinner we asked the manager if we could seat outside for dessert instead due to the loud noises around us. He brought us there but we had to wait at the bar outside till we were seated took an additional 15-20 minutes. After seated it was better than inside with a nice decor too instead. Dessert was ok service good. For such a high-ended restaurant and pricy food it's only avarage, inside decor pretty but very and tightly packed with guests and loud especially for a week day night kind of unusual, I was disappointed think it's a bit overrated sorry to say. I think Flemings, Ruth Chris, or Morton's are better food wise for the same price and dining experience and not as loud too. Think what could make it better is to thin out the crowded packed affect in the main inside dining area would help a lot too, or, if we ever go back sit outside instead I recommend. The service and staff there were very nice, friendly, and attentive and worked hard during service though. So overall raiting is a 3. Tuesday music night inside was good though think because the band is set up where tables of guests would be so less talking and guests listening to the music instead. Hope they make some changes to there inside seating there for improvements will and could help overall.

PARKING valet is available, but we found street parking on ventura blvd. FOOD 01. squash blossoms ($21 for 5 pc): 8.3/10 these were crispy and light, delightful to eat on their own without the tomato marinara sauce served on the side. casalena's squash blossoms had a strong, lovely hint of lemon that wasn't present in mother wolf's rendition. 02. chicken piccata ($29): 7.5/10 this main was served with a generous helping of potatoes mashed into a delicious velvet. 03. vodka lumaconi ($25): 9/10 this dish was the standout of the evening! the pasta shells were cooked al dente and coated in a slightly spicy, perfectly savory vodka sauce! casalena does not skimp on the sauce in any of their dishes! 04. tagliatelle ($29): 7/10 this pasta dish was not nearly as impressive. 05. tiramisu ($15): 7/10 since we mentioned the dinner was for a special occasion in our reservation, this dessert was served with a candle. while its presentation was lovely, its taste was underwhelming. the espresso was extremely subtle, and there was more madeline than mascarpone/cream. overall, our party of 4 was fully satiated after splitting 1 appetizer, 3 mains, and 1 dessert. service was lovely throughout! and as another yelpie mentioned in their review, their matchbook is very nice.

I've had oyster shooters before and loved them but didn't like their take on it here. Way too much horseradish and the vodka portion was way off (too little vodka) and unbalanced. The famed lobster appetizer was not for us. Bits of lobster floating in a lot of butter didn't excite us. Excellent salads. The other appetizers however, were excellent. We've been twice now had had a lot of their menu. The pork was outstanding. The rack was very good, but I've had even better racks elsewhere. The "famous" banana cream pie was good, not great, but so huge and rich it must be shared. At $30, it's maybe also a tad overpriced. The bar makes a healthy-sized martini that's worth its high-end price tag. Great wine list with wonderful advice and good-sized sample pours, even though I only drink one glass and my husband doesn't drink at all. This is a good place to splurge on a good wine. I've mentioned the above-par service. Informative and cheery, without trying to become your best friend. They went out of their way to assure us a table in a very quiet spot, due to my deafness. Very attentive without being overbearing. Their suggestions seem honest, rather than just trying to upsell everything. The place is huge and gorgeous. Flatteringly, if dimly, lit, it lends itself to romantic dinners and anniversaries. In our case, we like to have a rather luxurious and romantic and lengthy meal perhaps once a month, and feel very fortunate to be able to do so. It's divided into several smallish areas and the effect is rather cozy and intimate. It's chic and stylish, so PLEASE folks, dress for it? It especially saddens me to see a nicely dressed young woman, who obviously spent some time on herself beforehand, with a guy ( I'll guess her husband ), in shorts and a tee shirt. I say, for a place like this, where you could easily spend four bills on a good meal for two, with drinks, management, bring back a dress policy! And enforce it with a reminder email they you do so. Is a collared shirt and a pressed pair of khakis too much to ask for?
