But here comes the worst part. You know how those side dishes have tear away plastic to open it? As I was putting 2 of 12 side dishes onto the cashier's conveyor belt, the other side of tear away came open and it licked the soy sauce all over my hand. The correct response for cashier and the bag boy should be "let me get you the replacements and here's a napkin to wipe your hands." But their response was we don't have any napkin for you. You can wash your hands in the washroom after words. Excuse me? I'll have to open my bag & to open my wallet to get the credit card out with these hands that are stained with soy sauce. Then they said without any remorse, washroom is over there! How rude? No wonder my fellow Koreans in the neighborhood said don't go to Greenland market. I TOTALLY AGREE!! Stay away!!!!!!!!

This is one of the few Mitsuwa that doesn't have a food court (San Gabriel is another one without). The premade food section was surprisingly pretty good, better options than the Torrance or Santa Monica locations, imo. They do carry the same poke bowl that is also sold at Torrance. The store closes at 9:00pm, so the premade food section is pretty much cleared out and the self checkout is closed by around 8:00pm. The late hours actually got the busiest because only one staffed cash register was open and customers had to get in line instead of the self checkout. The store is clean and spacious, lots of self checkouts that are open during the day, and the bathrooms were clean (just need to get the code from a staff member!). I came three times on a weekday, once a little after lunch and another right around 5:30 and then around 8:00. Parking was a breeze every time. They have plenty of parking adjacent to the store. The other side of the shopping center gets a little busy, but Mitsuwa is at the comfortable corner closest to the train tracks. Getting out of the parking lot can be challenging because Tampa is a busy street and some people try to make a left turn out (I have my opinions about that lol). If heading out towards CSUN, the shopping center also has two exits out to Nordhoff so that worked well for me. I was in the area for a few job interviews... If I am hired nearby I'm definitely coming to this Mitsuwa a lot :)

I bought a roll of kimbap there. Kimbap is a popular Korean snack that both adults and children enjoy. It is one of those foods that always tastes good no matter when you eat it. I was excited to have some kimbap, so I got back into my car and headed toward Bakersfield. While driving, I opened the plastic packaging and started eating it one piece at a time. Whenever I eat kimbap, it usually makes me happy. However, after eating about three pieces, I started noticing a strange taste. It did not have the familiar savory flavor of kimbap, the taste of the seaweed, or the flavor of the fish cake. Instead, there was a strange taste and odor that should not have been there. I checked the packaging for the production date, but there was no date or time recorded. (두리분식, Duri Snack) However, I was really hungry, so I continued eating a little more. By the time I had eaten about two-thirds of the kimbap, I could no longer eat it. No matter how hungry I was, the unusual smell and strange taste made it impossible to continue. I took some pictures and threw the rest away. There was a space on the packaging for the date and time, but it had not been filled in. Businesses that handle and sell prepared food should clearly indicate the date and time the food was prepared so that customers can trust the food they are purchasing. The kimbap I purchased at Galleria Market today had an unusual smell and taste after I had eaten several pieces, so I could not finish it and had to throw it away. What was even more concerning was that the date and time were not recorded on the package.
