The interior is very bright, with separate rooms for sleeping and activities. They provide homemade food and prepare the children for school by teaching numbers and the alphabet. They also have cooking classes, daily crafts activities, and preparation for concerts. A music teacher comes twice a week, and the children are busy the whole day. There is a large backyard where the children can play. They sleep in real beds and change into pajamas. They also organize birthday celebrations in the daycare . Luda, the owner is a wonderful educator and caregiver. We cannot express enough how grateful we are to her for taking care of our children.

The owner of the other really awesome daycare recommended that I send my daughter to iPlay iLearn for 6 months until my 6 month old would be old enough to attend there. She told me that she even sent her own child to iPlay iLearn. At first, I was a little apprehensive because I had originally considered institutional daycares like Bright Horizons (my work is next to it in Santa Monica, although I live in the valley). I saw all the bells and whistles at BH and thought I NEEDED all the techy amenities. The apps, access to cameras, long weekly reports, etc. But as I was in a sort of bind due to an unrelated situation, I decided to give the whole home daycare thing a try. BEST. DECISION. EVER! At least.... with iPlay iLearn. My daughter attended iPiL from the age of 6 months to a couple of months over the age of 2 years. As indicated above, I had originally only planned on sending my daughter here for 6 months until she turned 1 so that she could then change to the other school. I even submitted a non-refundable deposit at the other place. But after 6 months with Gohar at iPiL, I knew that there was no way I was going to leave. Gohar and her team at iPlay iLearn (Naira, Kristine, Liana) have such dedication to the children. They are authentic, genuine, and warm. My experience when interviewing other daycares was that the "main" teach (typically the business owner) would be great, but you could see a clear gap between the knowledge and care that they bring to the table and the staff that work for them. But not at iPiL. All the staff are so attentive and the children love and feel so safe and secure there. My daughter's dad and I divorced when she just turned 1 years of age and it was very traumatic for her. During this tough time, Gohar and her team were the one very stable and consistent thing in her life and honestly, we could not made it through the life change as well as we did if it weren't for Gohar. She and her team were told what was going on and they provided extra care, love, support for not only my daughter but for me as well. They went over and beyond what would be expected of them and helped my daughter get through this hard time. I can never ever express enough gratitude for their genuine love and care for my daughter. Ok, back to not so somber stuff! A detail that I love about iPiL is that they serve a lot of Armenien food for lunch! My daughter is Korean-American and I love that she loves Armenien food now. Whether it's borscht or other dishes (sorry Gohar, I totally forget the names), my daughter is hooked! I would say that lunches are Armenien and snacks are generally American. I love that Gohar is committed to keeping up to date with the latest in early age education and she is also closely connected to, gosh I forget the school but I think it's CSUN. She also takes on a student per year as an apprentice/intern, which I love. She is ambitious and honestly intrinsically motivated to be the best teacher she can be for the kids. My daughter no longer attends iPiL for an unrelated reason and it was so hard when we had to leave. Even now, over 4 months later, my daughter casually mentions the name of the entire staff and her friends at iPiL in passing. I still stop by iPiL to drop off coffee to the entire team (I used to buy them coffee every week) every month or so just to catch up and to fill my cup with their warmth and care. Gah, I just love Gohar and her team so much. I have referred her daycare to any and everyone I know who live in the area. If you're open to a home daycare, then this is it. This was his first daycare experience, and Shusha took him in and treated him as her own. His language and social skills blossomed right away. He had always been a very picky eater, but he loved Ms Mariam's cooking, and was always trying new and unexpected foods for the first time. Shusha was so loving and even went out of her way to personally help feed him on the days he struggled. We have since moved, and our son is now five years old. We have since attended three other wonderful schools with our two boys, but none of them compare to Shusha's school. For a nervous mom sending her son to school for the first time, it felt as if we were sending him to a warm, loving relative's home to play for the day. We still see the amazing activities she plans on social media, and think fondly of our son's time there. We are so grateful to Shusha and her team to have had the perfect first school experience.

They have a system where parents aren't really allowed in the main daycare area except on rare occasions. At first I was skeptical about this, but having experienced it the other way at her new daycare, I think it's actually wise. After a short-lived adjustment period (my daughter's pretty social, so this was only 3 days in her case), she basically never cried again. I would carry her to the front gate, and she would all but LEAP into her teacher's arms, so excited to go play inside. I think it helped that the precedent was clear: if you want to go play with your friends, teachers, and toys inside, you have to say bye to your parents. She often didn't even want to leave school when I came to pick her up; she wanted to stay and watch all the other kids get picked up by their parents. And if she saw her teacher walking home, she would beg me to go over so she could interact with her some more. Anyway, we loved Busy Little Bee, and I'm sure you will, too.

My son has been going here for 8 months and we already had 4 great events( Fall celebration, Christmas, Easter and Mothers day ) and being 2.5 years old he performed singing , dancing and reciting poems- each time Natalie trained him to do new things! Amazing! This is a great tradition take from a Russian Childcare system to involve every child in performing arts starting from the early childhood. The house and yard are nicely equipped with a lot of toys and castles. And the most important thing- a balanced diet based on ORGANIC FOOD which is cooked fresh on a daily basis. Where can you find THIS luxury for your kids these days??? I am SO happy with that being an Organic food fan after I learned about all those GMO etc. There are 5 (!!!) meals per day here ,each is different from another( not like constant the same snacks in American child cares). They cook HOT soups every day as a part of 3 courses lunch(!!!) .She serves kids buckwheat, borshch and lentils from time to time and they eat that ! Natalie made my son eat many vegetables and fruits he never wanted to try at home. I can go on and on and on, but to make it short - Natalie took the best part of Russian Child care experience( food traditions, performing arts, discipline) and made it blossoming here in Los Angeles, In San Fernando Valley helping also our children to be bilingual which is a great added value.
