Pick up dinner here today after receiving a gift card. My mom and I both ordered the Country-style steak. She had Mac and cheese with a cup of chicken harvest soup. I had mine with a baked potato and green beans. Plus we ordered the 1/2 peach 1/2 blackberry cobbler. It was flavorless and mostly crust. Whomp whomp! Honestly, O'Charley's has gone down. Everything was just ugh. The gravy was a strange thickness and everything tasted too salty. They could have kept the ENTIRE meal! It was just not good especially with the cost of the meal. Plus the service was SLOW. I arrived at my pick up time. Checked in and waited 10 min before calling inside- no response. Waited another 5 min and decided to call again. Finally got someone but then took another 15 min to bring the order out. That's 30 min after the order was supposed to be ready. Yeah will be skipping this place the next time. read more

I had never been to this location, but we decided to drop in on our way home from Clarksville. The hostess who "greeted" us and took us to our seats was working a large wad of chewing gum and wearing a disinterested expression. I ordered a martini, and when I saw the bartender, and I use that term in it's loosest sense, topping off a martini glass with a beverage hose, I knew I was getting something very different. Casually was sitting at diner when I saw one ant thought nothing of it because I was sitting next to a window. Then saw another and then I look at my seat and there's 5 coming out of the crevest. Ant invested seats. While I went then to sit with my mom on the other side and we told the lady she acted like it's was nothing. Food was not great either. The wait for food is twice as long as it should be. Ran out of baked potatoes..and the one that made it to the table looked and tasted like it was leftover from lunch. The filet looked more like a porkchop. And no matter how many times I reminded the waitress of the type drink I had she insisted on bringing the wrong one. Great visit tonight in Dickson! I was seated right away. The menus are now online which can be accessed by scanning a QR code on the table, or you can have a paper menu if you prefer. Jaleighs (J with the green hair!) did a great job taking care of the meal checking in several times and offering to go beverages for the road at the end of the meal. The peach chutney chicken was very tasty as was the side of rice pilaf. My second side was a salad, and with the rolls, the entire meal was just fantastic! I stop here periodically on my way to and from Nashville when I travel and always have a good experience though tonight's visit might be the best yet. Keep up the good work! read more

Arrived after 5 hours of driving on Tuesday and stopped on the way from out of state to O'Charley's at 1:30 pm. My wife and I sat at the bar which had about 3 tables with customers and 2 people sitting at the bar. Took 15 minutes to get something to drink. Bartender running behind she said but she kept checking the kitchen for our food which was a club sandwich and a patty melt. Finally our food arrived at 2:20. Food was ok. If my wife wasn't with me I would have left after 10 minutes as it was not crowded or looked even busy. So knowing how the kitchen operated in getting food out during slow time periods I will not be stopping there again on my trips. read more

We had not eaten at any O'Charleys location in 3 years, so we gave it a shot. Bad decision. I got the steak and rib dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly, but it was only about 5 bites!! The 3 small ribs were old or re-heated from the day before. No way to make them better. So sad. My mashed potatoes were thick and the broccoli was half cooked. Rude woman at front counter completely ignored us when we walked up to hostess stand and made us stand there while she finished coloring with her highlighter. Waited 20 minutes and never got seated so we left. Will not return. No concern for customers. read more

It's hit or miss with this place. My husband and I used to go here every Wednesday for free pie. After months of doing this, we stopped because they were consistently understaffed, out of pie, long waits with open tables, and general poor service. Recently, we have started visiting again and I will say it has improved but it is still hit or miss. It seems as though they have a high turn over rate for servers. I imagine that is probably a large part of the problem. read more

When on the road, sometimes, you just need a place to shut down for a moment. This was our experience at this restaurant. The service was amazing, our food was great, and we were able to head to our hotel room and relax afterward. I am not sure why folks opt to leave negative reviews; perhaps their expectation of a fast food, family style restaurant was more than mine. I thought this place was a great spot to grab a quick, nicer and healthier dinner than McDonald's, or some other fast food garbage. You shouldn't be disappointed eating here. Used to love going here. Went yesterday to watch game and sat in the bar. They were highly understaffed and the managers didn't seem to really care. The poor bartender, who never stayed behind the bar to even make drinks, was slammed. She was doing everything while two hostesses and a manager stood upfront. We waited a long time to get our items due to this. Not blaming our waitress, the bartender, because she rocked it the Bear way she could with a great attitude. Unfortunately, food was nasty and mostly cold. I will usually send things back and talk to the manager but I just didn't have it in me yesterday so we just sucked it up. However, we will not be going back until something changes. Shame on the "managers" that allowed their bartender to be in the weeds and not step up! read more

Listen, this place was not worth all the time we spent here. Wasted $60. They burnt Asparagus and she brought it to my table and put it on my plate anyway. That was what was so aggravating . Like why would you put that burnt shit on my plate, and then told me she would bring me more because it was TOO DONE, No Bitch it's Burnt, Smelled and looked ... Brought me more and it was burnt too. I finally said Never mind. We waited so long to be seated, and for our food. I'm sure she was outside smoking because she reeeeked of cigarette smoke. HORRIBLE Service. Tony and I decided to head for Memphis, TN for the evening ...just jump in the car and go with no plans, hell not even a change of clothing...Thank goodness we keep an emergency bag in the car with some clean items and extra toothbrushes, and necessaries!!! I try to stay prepared..you never know!!! We decided to stop in Dickson, TN off I-40 on the way from Nashville to Memphis to grab some lunch and we stopped at O'Charley's right off the exit. We have eaten at a few before and enjoy their menu choices..so it was a simple decision! Tony and I was seated immediately and greeted by our Waitress within seconds. I ordered my Unsweetened tea with lemon and lime (zero points on WW 360 plan) and Tony ordered a Budweiser 12oz bottle ( 5 points for anyone counting)...I grabbed my trusty android phone and started searching the menu for my choices. I have the Weight Watchers 360 Points Calculator App downloaded so it helps me peruse the menu for my educated choices. I opted to order the " Santa Fe Tilapia" with a pico salsa, rice and broccoli..This is a 10 point dish for anyone counting the Points with WW 360..AND it is AWESOMELY GOOD....I loved the Pico salsa which is Zero points and ordered some extra..it was really good on the grilled fish filets..I tried not to eat all my rice since it was the highest point structure on the dish, and ate all the steamed broccoli..one because it was seasoned perfectly and tasted well but two, because it was so healthy. I had to pass on the rolls but Tony enjoyed them. He ordered the Deep Fried Fish and Shrimp with the Cheesy Broccoli Casserole with Tartar sauce..I would have had to pass on his dish. It looked great!!! But it was like a 32 point dish ( the allotted amount for the entire day)...so NOT something I could eat., But he loved it. He also chose to eat my Mini Caramel Pie with Whipped cream and chocolate chips and nut topping....they gave it to me FREE for my birthday month...but I couldn't even imagine the points for that one...so he ate it for me!!!! I couldn't bare to watch!!!! So, I played a game on my Android....lol !!! Our waitress was very nice. She offered me a unsweetened tea for the road. The Tip, food and taxes was well under $30..so it was a great meal....and I stayed within my Point allotment for lunch!!! read more

This restaurant has been our family favorite while traveling for years. Right off the interstate and centrally located. Today not only did we wait at our table an excessive amount of time completely empty handed while our server carried on personal conversation but two out of five of our plates had a human hair in the food! We returned the first, then found the second only to be accused of placing them in the food ourselves!! I gasped and pushed my food away (which seemed to be okay). I'm ticked! As the matriarch, not only do I NOT need a freaking discount but I and my family have higher morals! The server and management acted as if they didn't care and they certainly will get their wish - we will not return! Terrible experience that cost over 70$! Used to be a good place to visit. Service and quality have drastically changed, and not for the best. They've had a huge turnover in employees and management. They can't keep good help in there anymore. I will say my favorite day to go used to be Monday or Tuesday solely because of the harvest chicken soup. It's one of their only "homemade" soups. This location is in Dickson, TN right off Exit 172. You don't smell it when you walk in but when you get to the dinning area it stinks! Reeks like a nursing home. Jennie was our server and was friendly, prompt and attentive. However, the stench was so bad we boxed our food up to go and got out of there rather quickly. The carpet throughout is worn past it's lifespan. Could be the culprit for the smell but regardless it's a problem that needs to be addressed. read more

We had to wait a while for our table tonight, even though we had made "reservations". My sugar dropped and the manager, Sherry, took such good care of me. She immediately brought me a bowl of potato soup and a bowl of rolls for our group. She kept checking on me until we were seated at our table. I truly appreciate her kindness and thoughtfulness. Our server was very nice and attentive. They were packed this evening but we still received excellent service and a delicious meal. There should be more Sherry's in this world. read more
