Great food but poor management .... when they are busy they just take the phone off the hook on Friday afternoon at 5pm knowing they close at 7pm losing money so I order from somewhere else the owner should know his management is losing money on a Friday read more

Went to this location on June 20th 2026.. at 3pm.. In all appearances this BBQ looks like it is closed up and Out of Business. No life and no vehicles where around premises.. Google Maps App and Yelp for this listed BBQ location shows it to be Open for Business till 7pm on Saturdays.. Oh BTW dialed phone number in the Listing on Google MAps and Yelp.. The phone continuesly rings on one line other it is disconnected with no answer... Wasted my time and gas to try some where new.... YELP please investigate and remove listing if BBQ has permanently closed. read more

I found this hidden gem while driving through White Bluff and wanted to check it out. Em was my server and was great and fast at refills. She even helped me decide on the wings I was ordering to take home for dinner. The BBQ pork sandwich was so delicious and stacked high. What I really want to rav about is their delicious mac n cheese which had so much cheesy flavor and worth a visit just for that. I did learn from Em that this is family owned and that they really wanted to build a very welcoming restaurant for the whole family. The outdoor area even has a spot for them fur babies. We use to get good food at Pig and Pub but their food has gone down hill. Ordered a loaded baked potato and it was ice cold. How can a potato be ice cold? My husband ordered pot pie and it was some kind of soup with corn bread sprinkled on it. Was not a pie. We won't be returning. read more

I just called to place a order at 4:30 today for a couple of "wet" racks of ribs and the lady that answered said they were already OUT of ribs!?!?!!! No wonder their closed 4 days a week! Come on people, it's the 4th of July, it's time to CELEBRATE as long as you cook your own ribs!! read more

We're not impressed. We ordered two racks of ribs and sides to go and we were entertaining some guests from out of town. Everyone got food poisoning, so we won't be ordering again. The entire town misses Carl's Perfect Pig, and there's a reason. I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

I had heard rumors that this place doesnt actually make its own bbq and that they buy it from somewhere else, keep it hot, and serve it as their own. I seriously doubted if that was true, so I decided to go and test it. I loooove me some BBQ and we have a couple good ones out in Waverly. Anyway, I went to pig n pub and sat at the bar. Server was nice. I ordered ribs and two sides. While they were putting this together, I asked the server if I could walk around and just check the place out since there seemed to be alot of seats outside and a stage or something. She was totally cool with it. I went outside and looked for the bbq pit and what kind of wood they use....I didnt find any wood anywhere! There seemed to be a pit, but there were cobwebs all over the place and you could easily tell it hadnt been used in a long time. I went back to the bar and the food came out pretty quickly. Immediately I could tell the ribs had been sitting for a while..they were almost stale. The sides (fried okra/collards) were ok...the collards definitely came from a can. I asked the server for the bbq sauce bottles (the ones you typically see at bbq restaurants) and she just brought out a little plastic cup with sauce. I asked if they make it in house and she said " No, we just buy it from Whitts BBQ". Holy Crap!! Did she just give away the truth of this place? read more

My wife and I had lunch at Pig & Pub on 6/13/24. This was our second visit since the restaurant reopened. The smoked meats are delicious with plentiful portions and sides are well prepared with adequate portions. Today's Jalapeño cornbread was thin, overcooked, dry and totally unlike the product we experienced on our first visit. My primary "Beef" is with, what I perceive as the "lead server/cashier." This lady, whom I heard say that she is from a northeastern state, is abrupt/non-empathetic/inflexible and is not focused on providing cordial customer service but rather in "enforcing the rules." It's obvious that the new ownership has spent considerable time and financial resources to hopefully be successful, perhaps they might inspect what they expect. Jack & JoAnn read more

I recently picked up an order to go at Pig'n Pub. The BBQ pork was great. The problem started when I tried to call in my order so it would be ready when I arrived. The call wouldn't go through after many attempts. I arrived at the restaurant and ordered at the drive thru window and was pleasantly greeted and my order taken. Since there was another car behind me, I asked the server if I should wait or park somewhere. She said to pull ahead and park so I did. I waited over 30 minutes for my to-go order. If I hadn't already paid, I would've left. The business needs a working phone so customers can reach them. If I'd been able to place my order in advance, the wait wouldn't have been so long. Most of my visits to this establishment will probably be to-go so if I can't place my order in advance, I'll be going somewhere else. read more

We tried Pig and Pub tonight for the first time and wow! The food is SO good!! We were blown away by the very friendly staff as well. This restaurant is so nice inside too, a big change from the way the former restaurant was. The brisket was so smokey and juicy, the way it should be! The sides were amazing too, including the Mac and cheese. I think I could taste some garlic in it which set it over the top. We will definitely be regulars at this place and am so happy we have this great food option!! read more

Ate there two days after they opened. I had the pulled pork, and it was very good. It was a very generous portion, so I was able to take some home for another meal. The sides were very good especially the baked beans and loaded potato salad. I did get to try out some other sides since everyone in my party were wanting to try out what they others got. For those of you who ate at Carl's Perfect Pig (same location), do yourself a BIG favor and try Pig N Pub! We ate there on a Friday night and were very impressed with everything. They have done a phenomenal job remodeling the property and most of all the food was great!! Laid back atmosphere and plenty of space. The service was great! I had the ribs, they were very good. The potato salad and baked beans were also very good. My wife had the pulled pork and greens (collards). For desert I recommend the blackberry cobbler. We will certainly be back! read more

Its is worth the wait. The service was great and always checking to make sure if you need anything. The building it self is really nice and clean and the patio is nice. I stopped here after work to give it a try, after all who doesn't like BBQ. The waitress was great. It took about 10 minutes to get my order to go and bagged up. I got almost home and looked at the bag and realized it was missing the Banana Pudding so I had to drive back. The owner didn't care it was left out. But after trying it, I could've done without it as it was pudding and whipped cream fluff with a rare banana or wafer. The BBQ was fine and the sauce was not anything to write about. read more
