He just went there for lunch and the pizza was made fresh and it was delicious. As were the. Italian breadsticks... Will definitely go back?

Gross! Bread sticks were burnt! You could smell them through the bag. They then offered me a different bag and they were just as bad!

Having just located to the area we were looking for a nice, relaxing dinner spot. We had driven…read morepast Crandall's multiple times on our way to Lake Geneva. After looking for some Gluten-Free options Crandall's was listed as an option, plus I love chicken and the boast on their sign "World Famous Broasted Chicken", off to Crandall's we went. We arrived at an odd time in the middle of the afternoon so it was easy parking and no wait to be seated. I already knew I wanted the Chicken, but my lady is Gluten-Free... this is where we ran into an issue. On the Menu there is a Gluten-Free section with only one option, coconut shrimp. Which may be fantastic by my lady doesn't enjoy shrimp. However the waitress was understanding and made some other suggestions on what she can get and what they can substitute to make it Gluten Free. She went above and beyond to accommodate my lady. I did order the chicken, because I'm not Gluten Free and I wanted Chicken. Both meals were fantastic. I loved the Chicken, and it is definitely the best that I've had since moving to the area. My only issue is that it only comes in All you can Eat, but I didn't need that much chicken. In fact I didn't eat all the chicken that came with my first order. The waitress advised that if you get there earlier in the day they do have a two-piece lunch special, but later in the day the only option is all you can eat. We were so full after our meal we weren't able to try any of the pies they had on display. Next time we'll have to try one. Overall Crandall's is a nice little Super Club with good comfort food and a nice rural atmosphere. If you're in the area, its definitely worth checking out.

The Abbey Resort - Harbor View King room

The Abbey Resort

I had an outstanding experience at The Abbey thanks to Illeyana--also known (and now forever…read moreremembered) as Ms. Goldfish. From the moment we walked in, her energy, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness set the tone for the entire visit. She was on top of everything--quick service, great recommendations, and always checking in without being overbearing. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel both taken care of and completely relaxed at the same time, but Illeyana nailed it. The nickname "Ms. Goldfish" fits perfectly--she kept things fun, memorable, and just a little bit legendary. If you're heading to The Abbey, do yourself a favor and ask for her. Customer service like that is hard to come by. We'll definitely be back!

This resort has taken a significant downturn within the last 10 years. It truly is work to stay…read morehere. The best part of the trip was the time we spent outside of the hotel. From the moment we got here we were inconvenienced. 1. We checked into our room and there was no hand soap, tissues, or conditioner. 2. There are only a few entrances to the resort instead of having an entrance to each building to make it easy to bring stuff to and from your car. 3. The gift shop is crazy expensive, bottled water is almost $4 a piece and a case of beer is $80. 4. The TVs in the room are completely locked down and you're unable to screencast Netflix. Your choices are 30 basic channels of infomercials and $25 movie selections that are mostly from the 90s. 5. The room service for food ends at 10pm and the vending machines were bare, there is no where to go for a late night snack. 6. If you go to the restaurant to order food to go, they won't do it. They'll refer you to calm room service for your room forcing you to leave a tip. 7. If you want a cart to bring your luggage to your car, a bellhop has to supervise you and watch you do it the whole way. 8. On our last day the boiler was down and there was no hot water to take a shower before you check out. 9. We asked for a plate at the front desk to warm up food in the microwave (only one shared microwave is available for each building), and they couldn't find any. In short, this place is like a glorified motel 8 that doesn't truly respect their customers. Their operations are only convenient for them and nothing about the stay was easy. We almost felt like we were in a prison. I did enjoy the stay 10 years ago but we were very disappointed by how it is currently ran.

Targeting ALL Review Criteria: - Service at the drive-thru window is friendly but slower than most times, because they are cooking fresh. - Service inside is counter only, unless it is going to take a while - like for the shrimp. - Ambiance is typical fast food franchise, but very clean - even the bathroom. As far as the food goes - I especially love the 'Beans & Rice'. And I used to love their extra-crispy fried chicken wings. But something changed - not at Popeyes, but in my own mouth. Unfortunately, age has made my teeth bad, and now my gums are ultra-sensitive. So Popeyes 'Extra Crispy Wings' hurts my mouth. Thus, after my first 'bleeding' episode (it is really crispy, not built for gum-parts only), I stopped ordering the extra crispy). The worst thing is that I thought that their 'signature sauce' was too sweet. But my girlfriend swears by the place. So I gave it another try. Instead I ordered my wings in the "Original" way (this time with no sauce): and it was perfect. No gum issues, only yummy wings. Now I get Popeyes a lot.
