This is a great place! It's a small tucked away place right on main street, but if you blink you may miss it. The young woman working was very welcoming and it was nice and warm in the dining room on an especially frigid night. Very clean with nice service. The food was EXCELLENT! I got the dinner special that included Tom Yum Kai soup, a Thai salad, and then I chose Lad Nah with Tofu for the entree. Everything was perfectly spiced and made order. My friend got the Pad Thai with chicken and it was also excellent. The owners are Thai and they don't mess around and americanize everything! My dad was in town visiting and I had never been here prior to his coming. No one was inside when we arrived. There wasn't a greeting upon arrival, but we didn't mind to seat ourselves. I asked if they had any type of spring roll with a peanut sauce.. she recommended an item-which we ordered-along with 2 other items and 2 canned mt dews. We tried the chicken skewers (even though they weren't rolls) and they tasted fine. The shrimp salad that dad ordered tasted just as bad as it smelled. When I saw my dad not eating it-i took notice because he eats almost anything. I asked to try it and I understood why he couldn't eat it. Smelled and tasted like feet. We told the waitress we couldn't eat it and waited for our third item. We waited and waited and waited... four other individuals who had ordered their food prior to arriving-came in and waited 30 more minutes alongside us. The waitress was hiding behind the kitchen door nearly the entire time. We had to get up and motion to her from behind the door just to get a glass of water. When our food still didn't come-we asked for it after 45 minutes. Though I personally didn't mind the shrimp fried rice-Dad was so "put off" by the experience that he just paid the $52 bill and drove down the road to Culver's. I would definitely encourage improvement in some areas. We rarely ask for refunds, so we didn't in this situation...but it would have merited it to be honest. read more

I got a banana nut smoothie and had cacao added to make it chocolate ly but couldn't taste it. I wish they had a basic chocolate and banana one with cashew butter. The smoothie were creamy and cold from frozen fruit. I didn't like there was only one size. Only 20 ounce. I just wanted a snack not a meal replacement. Having smaller sizes also lets you try other shakes before committing to a big shake. The reward program gives you a freebie after 20. Not interested in signing up for that. I recently ordered carry out, and unfortunately, the food quality here is subpar. I ordered the Thai Egg Rolls as an appetizer, and they were BARELY fried (see photo for reference). First bite was a grease bomb, followed by undercooked veggies and overcooked ground chicken in the middle. Next up was the Tom Kha Soup, which did have good flavor to it, but I specifically requested Mild, and was only able to eat a couple of bites before the chili flavor took over. For my entree, I went with the Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken. It had only 3 pieces of pineapple in it (see photo for reference), and I don't believe the rice they use there is a traditional Asian rice. The only item I ordered that was without critique was the Mango Sticky Rice, a seasonal, but delicious offering. It is a shame that the quality isn't better, as I observed the staff working very hard while waiting for my food. I've eaten a Two Sisters several times and it's always been enjoyable and the food faverful. The other evening I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and it was a big disappointment. It look like they just threw a bunch of noodles in a take out container, added some dried out chunks of chicken and tofu. In the corner of the container was a clump of stuck together nuts. The noodles were OK, but the rest, not. A three star is being generous, but based on past favorable experience I have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has a bad day. read more

We have been getting take out from Two Sisters Thai for years and lately my favorite dish (Pad Thai with chicken has been so dry that the noodles stick together in a big clump. Also asked for medium spice level and it didn't seem to have any spice at all! It was dry the last time also so I asked them to make it juicier and they actually charged me to do that! Wow, who knew you could find such delicious Thai food in this area! But I don't think it's much of a secret. When we arrived around 5:30 the restaurant was empty, but soon all the tables were filled with a steady stream of people coming and going getting their to go orders. The owner who was the only one working the front did such a great job of keeping up with all of it and was so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. This was probably some of the better Thai food I've had. Definitely worth the drive from the Milwaukee area and a nice change of pace from all the touristy restauranta in Lake Geneva.. read more

We went to the consignment shop across the street today and noticed this restaurant on the way in. Once done shopping, we decided to give it a try. We ordered 3 appetizers - chicken satay, fresh veggie spring rolls and steamed dumplings. Wonderful food at this small family owned restaurant. I went there twice while I was in town. I had pad Thai, pad see ewe, and lad na. I was pleasantly surprised to find real Thai food in small town Wisconsin. The place is easy to fly by and go unnoticed, but I encourage you to stop in for a lunch special. They only offer carry out now, but they have 2 tables outside that you can eat at. Water is provided while you wait or eat outside. 1 time ordering Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp. When I took a bite of it it was mainly lettuce I was getting. No vermiculite that I could see. Had a hint of basil and I think a white radish, and shredded carrots . For over 9 dollars is overly ridiculous. I could get a whole head of lettuce for .99. And make probably 30 rolls. I don't think I can rave profusely enough about Two Sisters. My visits here are infrequent -- about once per year -- as my needs to visit Walworth are seldom, but now that I've discovered Two Sisters, my primary need to visit Walworth is when I am craving the best Thai food in southeastern Wisconsin. A few years back, I had a corporate meeting at a company near Walworth. Our meeting concluded just before the noon hour. I asked the locals, "Where's a good place to grab a bite around here?" Unanimously they answered, "Two Sisters!" Once we navigated to the restaurant, we looked at it and thought, "Is this the right place?" It's a little hole in the wall, and a slight bit rough looking, being attached to a "hotel" that seems, at best, questionable. However, once the food is served all questions are laid to rest... This IS the place. My business needs to travel to Walworth terminated two years ago, but I kept telling my wife that I have got to take her to the best little Thai place in Wisconsin. Last weekend, I did. My memory did not serve me incorrectly. Once again, this little joint just off Walworth's downtown square blew me away. I enjoyed the Pad Kee Mao and my wife dined on the Pineapple Fried Rice. Both were excellent but for me, always go with the noodles. They seem to soak up the delicate sauce flavors that the chefs have mastered (I am told it is two sisters -- as the name would imply -- that have more than 60 combined years of cooking Thai food). Both dishes highlighted the chefs' signature hand-cut fresh vegetables. This is easiest to see in the way the carrot slices are prepared -- kind of like little multi-faceted snowflakes. Beware of the heat. I like my food spicy, but on a 1-5 scale (5 being the hottest), don't be afraid to select a 1 or a 2. You can always amp up the heat with the table sauces, but once prepared, you cannot go back. We both ordered 3's and that was about as spicy as either of could enjoy. Two Sisters in Walworth, who knew this small Wisconsin town could support one of the best Thai food restaurants? Perhaps it's because I'm not the only discoverer of this fantastic place. It's great to have a Thai place around here, and I say that as someone who grew up in Chicago loving Thai food. Two Sisters compares really well with and in some cases outcompetes the Thai restaurants in Chicago. The menu doesn't say so, but all of the entrees are available with tofu instead of the three meat options (chicken, beef, or shrimp). Prices are a little higher than what I see in Chicago, but it's worth it - the food is good and portions are substantial. Their mussaman curry is better than the one I get closer to home, and the panang is just as good, maybe a little better because it has more vegetables. It was a Tuesday night and the place was packed. We almost left because the only open table when we got there was for 4 people and there were 5 of us, but we squeezed in an extra chair and made it work. We had to wait a bit for our order to be taken but once we ordered, the food came out quickly and piping hot. And we are thrilled to say-- it was amazing!!! Found Two Sisters on Yelp, and decided to eat there last night. We loved the food. Service was great. Our server asked me, on a scale of 1-5, how spicy I wanted my green curry with shrimp. I said 3. I'm glad I didn't go for 4 or 5. It was deliciously spicy. I tasted both my daughter's pineapple shrimp fried rice, and my husband's shrimp pad thai. Everything was so delicious! Very unassuming from the outside and modest on the inside, but the food was amazing and soooo very fresh. We started with the thai egg rolls. The carrots and cabbage were so fresh that I'm sure these were made to order. Chicken satay, like no other and the Tom Yum was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. Sometimes, when you order Thai fried rice, it is heavy and greasy. Not here, it was perfect. My only complaint was with the curry. The gravy was not as thick and creamy as I like. I really want to help small businesses during this time so I'm writing this long overdue review. I come here for almost all of my meals when I'm in town for business. On my last trip I went 4 days in a row and sometimes for both lunch and dinner. Maybe because I'm not a local, but I can only find American/diner food nearby and I don't like the over priced, mediocre food at the resort so this place is a gem. I'm from the Bay Area so I consider the prices very reasonable and it's pretty good Thai food for what feels like the middle of no where to me. The owner is really nice and always chats with me.
