I had an outstanding experience at The Abbey thanks to Illeyana--also known (and now forever remembered) as Ms. Goldfish. From the moment we walked in, her energy, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness set the tone for the entire visit. She was on top of everything--quick service, great recommendations, and always checking in without being overbearing. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel both taken care of and completely relaxed at the same time, but Illeyana nailed it. The nickname "Ms. Goldfish" fits perfectly--she kept things fun, memorable, and just a little bit legendary. If you're heading to The Abbey, do yourself a favor and ask for her. This resort has taken a significant downturn within the last 10 years. It truly is work to stay here. The best part of the trip was the time we spent outside of the hotel. From the moment we got here we were inconvenienced. 1. We checked into our room and there was no hand soap, tissues, or conditioner. 2. There are only a few entrances to the resort instead of having an entrance to each building to make it easy to bring stuff to and from your car. 3. The gift shop is crazy expensive, bottled water is almost $4 a piece and a case of beer is $80. 4. The TVs in the room are completely locked down and you're unable to screencast Netflix. Your choices are 30 basic channels of infomercials and $25 movie selections that are mostly from the 90s. 5. The room service for food ends at 10pm and the vending machines were bare, there is no where to go for a late night snack. 6. If you go to the restaurant to order food to go, they won't do it. They'll refer you to calm room service for your room forcing you to leave a tip. 7. If you want a cart to bring your luggage to your car, a bellhop has to supervise you and watch you do it the whole way. 8. On our last day the boiler was down and there was no hot water to take a shower before you check out. 9. We asked for a plate at the front desk to warm up food in the microwave (only one shared microwave is available for each building), and they couldn't find any. In short, this place is like a glorified motel 8 that doesn't truly respect their customers. Their operations are only convenient for them and nothing about the stay was easy. We almost felt like we were in a prison. I did enjoy the stay 10 years ago but we were very disappointed by how it is currently ran. read more

I had a fantastic first visit to this resort. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze. Parking was conveniently located right up front. We opted for the harbor view room, which was stunning. However, keep in mind that you'll likely spend most of your time outdoors. If you're planning to spend a lot of time by the harbor or Lake Geneva, I suggest saving your money and getting a general room without having to pay a half price. While the resort is quite large and offers a variety of amenities, I wish they would have provided a guided tour to help us explore it. It's a bit of a maze, and we missed out on some of the hidden amenities . However, overall, it's a great place to stay, especially if you're looking for a convenient location right on the harbor on the other side of Lake Geneva. read more

This place has somewhat gone downhill. The place is overly priced for the quality you get. The rooms have not been upgraded for nearly 10 years and you used to get a pass to the Avani spa and now, no longer. The resort fee alone cost $25 on top of the room charge that included s'mores, wifi, board games, etc. Kind of a waste of money if you don't have kids. Not sure this is a place I'll travel again for a getaway, which is a bummer because it's a prime location. read more

Can't beat the harbor view rooms either, ask for one. The morning sun off of Fontana lake is gorgeous anytime of the year. We will only rent a room here for use of the Spa facility if we purchase a package deal in November/December. You get more bang for your buck that way...a definite DIY spa experience on a low key weekend. If it's busy, good luck cause there doesn't seem to be a shared understanding of peace and quiet based on our last visit. And call beforehand to see if the hot tub is working - not something you want to miss out on. read more

Came to lake Geneva and stayed at The Abbey Resort for a night. Located right near the lake, it is in a great area. It is on the other side of the lake as downtown Lake Geneva though. The resort offers a lot of great amenities including a spa, gym, large pool, and more. There are several on site restaurants, although we didn't end up eating at them. I enjoyed using the gym and was surprised they had a stairmaster! Checking in/out is really easy. Staff seem pretty friendly and helpful. The resort is clean for the most part as well. The rooms aren't anything too special, but adequate for a good stay. I will say they appear a little outdated. Overall, had a short, but sweet stay here. It is a nice resort located by Lake Geneva! read more

Growing up I remember my mom telling me the Abbey was one of the nicest resorts in or near Lake Geneva so I couldn't wait to go since I love Lake Geneva. I've stayed here twice now, both times after finding a Groupon, and both times we were given rooms in the back of their large complex with views of the parking lot. It would have been nice just once to have a decent view and not such a long walk from the lobby. It was obvious we were being penalized for having Groupons. It's a beautiful property with indoor and outdoor pools and lots of amenities. Both times they were super busy and parking was very difficult. They're about 20 minutes from the town of Lake Geneva which I didn't mind because we drive and it's a lot more peaceful, plus it's close to the beach and other scenic areas. Parking is just challenging if you come in late, and don't have a lot of bags to carry! The rooms were clean and bathrooms looked like they were upgraded. I appreciated the coffee and having a fridge for our leftovers. They have a nice, somewhat expensive restaurant and a decent cafe, but we chose to eat off property after trying both. I'm glad I've experienced staying here but I'm glad there are numerous options for Lake Geneva because I love it there when I need to get away. read more

I think this place *used* to be something. The architecture and scale of the A-frame section is awesome. Sadly, our room had seen better days - beat up trim and tile, TERRIBLE bed, clanking A/C unit that kept us awake. Really felt kind of run down and past its prime everywhere. If I could give -0 I would. I recently stayed at The Abbey Resort & Spa from Friday to Sunday, and unfortunately, this visit was a very disappointing experience. I have been to this resort at least six times before and have always enjoyed my stays. However, this was the first time I brought my service dog due to a medical condition, and the way the situation was handled made me feel extremely uncomfortable. At check-in, I informed the front desk that I had a service dog. They asked the required questions, and I answered them appropriately. Despite this, just five minutes later while walking down the hallway, I was stopped again and told that the resort is not dog-friendly. This interaction was not only confusing but also embarrassing and upsetting. As someone who relies on a service dog, I expect a basic level of understanding and professionalism--especially from a resort of this caliber. Instead, I felt singled out and unwelcome, which completely changed the tone of our stay. The discomfort was significant enough that we genuinely did not want to remain at the property. I've stayed at five-star hotels that treated my service dog better than I was treated here--and honestly, I'm okay with that. What's not okay is feeling disrespected and unwelcome because of a legitimate medical need. It's disheartening to have such a negative experience at a place I have returned to multiple times in the past. I hope the resort takes the time to better educate their staff on service animal policies so no one else has to go through a similar situation. Based on this experience, if you rely on a service dog, this is not the resort I would recommend staying at in Lake Geneva. read more

Oh what could have been...they Abbey is a shell of its former self...in my opinion. We stayed here 6 years ago and loved it, it was cute, offered so many activities and the surrounding area is gorgeous. This experience was just not great - I came for a staycation, and after staying at the grand Geneva last year, this was just such a stark contrast in a negative way. We stopped by the front desk around 3:30pm, check in was at 4pm a they didn't have rooms available (despite my friend having pre checked in), which is fine. We went to a nearby coffee shop to wait for the text that our room was ready, that text didn't come until about 40-45 min after check in. No apology for the delay, offer of late checkout for the inconvenience, or explanation of amenities from the front desk. There was also very limited in the resort for food/drink before 5pm. The activities all end fairly early or before check in/start after check out, so those in town for a day or two cannot partake. The ones that are available are around dinner time. We got to our room, and there were blood stains on both the sheets on both beds. The room was freezing and the door to the shared balcony was not properly locking. The room itself was a good size and bathroom was nice, but the wood and trim was falling apart in the room. These rooms need a full update. Overall, I would recommend the area but not the resort itself. read more

The rooms were slightly outdated but did feel fairly clean. We had a nice view and it was a relaxing stay. However, the amenities aren't great. The pool was aggressive in its chlorine smell, as was the hot tub. The hot tub actually left us smelling like chemicals for 2 days, even after 3 showers. The place feels like it wasn't to be a relaxing retreat for adults, but then has a kiddie pool and an arcade... neither rod which are that nice. The TV is fine, but there's really not great options of movies or channels. The movies they had were pay per view and insanely expensive. For this price of a hotel, I had expected you'd be able to at least login on your own streaming services or at least have a selection of movies on demand included in your stay. The restaurant was crazy expensive. I can't see anyone paying that much for a hotel restaurant. Honestly the food pricing of the entire area was an issue. Some of the worst and blandest food I've ever had was along the lake. The biggest issue was the layout of this place. You need a map to find anything. There are signs pointing to the Spa but then they stop and you're just standing in a random hallway. One front desk person did a horrible job of explaining where things were. Luckily the next person we asked drew us a map (even though it was still pretty confusing). It's a large place and we spent way too much time to figure out where things were. It's a shame the hotel isn't as nice as it could be. The area is beginning for a more adult oriented, relaxing hotels with solid amenities. Great view and location. Just needs an overhaul on the hotel's offerings. read more

If you're looking for a venue for an event this place seems like a good choice. However, if you are just a duo traveling, there doesn't seem to be much available to do. There is no water sport offerings even though the hotel is located near the marina. There are no bike rentals offered to ride around the shore. The rooms are slightly outdated. The restaurants and bars have little to nothing to offer (except a good pianist). The workout facility is located in the spa so the hours are limited (and you need to get a code to use the bathroom... weird). There are no fitness or wellness classes offered. The check-in and out process was quick and simple. There is ample parking too. Overall very average. read more

Recently had my first stay at The Abbey Resort. Without having been able to enjoy the scenery or outdoor portions of the property, I'd probably call this a 3ish star hotel. It seemed like the main areas of the resort (i.e. front entrance, lobby, dining areas, and bars) have been updated somewhat recently. The entrance was very welcoming, especially with all of the holiday decor this time of year. They have a little coffee shop off one part the lobby, along with a bar through another - both we enjoyed during our stay. This place is kind of a maze with how big it is, so be sure to have your little map handy they give you at check-in. It can be tough to navigate. We zig zagged to building seven where our room was. The room itself was fine. Nothing fancy or updated. Our king bed was comfy, as were the pillows. Bathroom was alright - could have used a little water pressure upgrade in the shower. We didn't dine here at all, but there are eateries on-site. On our visit however, we did go to the downstairs bar/restaurant to enjoy a drink and the Saturday night live music which was fantastic. It looked like there was also a holiday party and a wedding going on in other various spaces within the resort, so plenty of event options here. Can't speak to the other amenities like the (very large) spa, pool, movie theater, etc. as it was a pretty short stay for us, but it's wonderful how many things they do offer. There are a few local coffee shops and restaurants that are in walking distance. The exterior door had a broken lock, so only the deadbolt. No printed channel guide for the TV. Seriously? Ice making machine nearest our room didn't work. Yeah, one and out. We booked this as an out of area family because it was billed as a full service resort, but it is anything but. We are paying $800 a night to stay in one of their villas and nothing except access to the pools is included. The kitchen is sparsely equipped, and there is nothing available to take to the beach such as chairs or towels or beach toys. All are available for purchase but this isn't practical as we will have to fly. The drains in the tubs don't drain well, many lightbulbs are out, etc. We would have better off at an Air Bnb or regular hotel room! read more

I absolutely love staying at The Abbey! I found it by happenstance 1 year when I saw a really great deal for a weekend stay with them on Groupon, and I've been a fan ever since. Here are some highlights: - They have FREE valet parking! How awesome is that? - The staff is welcoming and very helpful. - If you're in the mood for light bites, you can dine at the Waterfront. During my recent stay (this past weekend), we dined there and enjoyed Old Fashioneds, Pineapple Margaritas, lemon parmesan chicken wings, Caesar salad, and shortbread caramel apple pie. The wings were HUGE, but they were really good. Penny was our server, and she took great care of us. And kudos to the bartender because the drinks were great! - If you're looking for a more formal dinner, you can dine at 240 West. The ambiance alone is great, especially during the holidays. We snagged a table in front of the fireplace that was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed wine, a charcuterie board, and the short rib with mashed potatoes. The short rib meat was tender and succulent. - THE SPA!!!!!!!! The Avani Spa is always the highlight of all my visits to the Abbey. Their services are unique and always rejuvenating. The only thing I didn't enjoy about my visit this time was that the steam room and the sauna weren't working. This was a major bummer. - Looking for a nightcap? Visit Bar West. Thomas the bartender is super engaging, and he makes a MEAN espresso martini. There was also live music (a piano player). Here are some suggestions: - I also recommend opting for either a pool view room or a harbor view room. The resort view room is a gamble. You could get a great view, or you could get a view of the parking lot. Trust me, I learned that the hard way LOL. - They add soda to their Old Fashioneds in Wisconsin, so be aware of that. It's a different and acquired taste. Note: the bartender at Waterfront did not add soda to mine - and for that, I was thankful LOL. - There are tons of Winter activities for kids, so expect to see a lot of families if you go during the holiday season. - If you'd rather not be near kids at the pool, spring for a day pass to the spa so you can take advantage of their private pool. Have stayed here a few times over the years because of the location when visiting friends or when in town for events. Last trip this fall, had a room that was small and basic but had tall ceilings which made it feel larger. The best thing about the whole stay - the bed was really very comfortable. Public spaces are older but kept up. Bathroom on small side and average for a hotel like this. I think we paid way too much for what it is and the hotel gets a lot of hype, but if you get a deal or need a room to get a good nights sleep when in town - best option. read more

Probably the worst place ever! The General Manager should not be working in hospitality! The sheets in our room had blood on them. It was disgusting! One of the people from the wedding party could not get into their room until 6:30 pm on friday prior to the wedding. He missed the rehearsal dinner due to it. Check in was suppose to be at 1:00 pm because we were on the VIP LIST because of the wedding. everything went wrong leading up to the wedding. It was an awful experience. The hot water went out that Friday evening too, when we called the front desk, we asked them why someone did not tell us, their response was "we can't tell everyone that." My dear friend and I spent a Gals' Pal weekend at The Abbey and spa after Thanksgiving, the day of the big first snowstorm. The setting was magical! Decorations throughout were tasteful and festive; there were several winter-themed events that added to the holiday spirit. The Spa services and amenities were fantastic. Our spa treatments were so good we booked another prior to our Sunday departure. The beds and pillows were among the best I've experienced at a resort. Room service and dinner/wait staff at The Waterfront were top-notch. The resort has been well-maintained and the charm of this older resort only adds to its warm ambiance. Only wish the spa pool was warmer. But the large jacuzzi with jets and the multiple saunas were great to enjoy throughout the day as the snow fell for nearly 15 hours outside the huge floor to ceiling windows! Kudos to all the staff and management for making this resort a go-to place all year-round! read more

We've been to the Abbey many times. We stayed midweek with the intention of going to the spa. The grounds are pretty and the room was clean. The parking lot was empty so I tried checking in at 11;30. They wanted $25 to check in before 1:00 pm. We went to the spa instead. I had a massage scheduled which was good $150 so I could use everything else. My husband had to pay $40 to get in the spa. The spa pool is very dated and needs painted. The towels and lounge chairs are nice. The hot tub was not working. And maintenance was going on so a lot of noise which was annoying. The steam room is nice as long as you sit on a towel to avoid hair on ledge. Signs were posted to use the hot tub in the resort pool. The towels in the resort pool were not good; old and smelled bad. Our room was clean. Sheets and pillowcases felt like canvas. They were thick but too rough. The mattress was the bumpiest thing I've ever tried sleeping on. So not and expensive night but not the best stay. We went to the resort hot tub the next morning. When my husband got out his navy blue shorts were pink. It is now the next day and we still smell like chlorine. We won't be going back which is sad cause we never had a complaint in the many times before. read more

Never again!! The Abbey will never see another penny of mine!! April 2025 We have been coming to the Abbey for many years for our girls trips. We booked the Spa package . As we entered the Avani spa we were told there is no hot water and the whirlpool is is out of order, while disappointed we dealt with it. This is a health hazard as the masseuse could not properly clean hand in between clients. Once we were able to check in ( additional fee to check in early now) even though it is mid week and the hotel was not full! Once we got to our room , we were ready to take showers since the spa showers were not working. To our dismay, the hotel room had no hot water either!!! We tried to call the front desk and the room phone didn't work!! The hotel only wants communication through text now. We finally got the front desk who swore they had no idea the whole building had no hot water!!! So we had to change rooms.... The property seems to be falling apart as I saw men knocking on guest room doors to repair things in addition to the workers trying to repair the boiler in the spa and building 7!, when we checked out we reminded them of our issues and again the clerk said they had no idea what was happening!! How can this be true??? We asked for some compensation and they took off the resort fee25.00 of a 500.00 package!!!! This is Easter week, I'm sure the hotel will be packed and the guests are in for a rude awakening read more

Stayed 3 nights. Food at 240 West and Sunday brunch was good, but the rooms themselves are in need of updating. Carpet dirty in our room, bath fan constantly runs when light is on and very loudly, and hotel maids did not replenish the soap, bottled water or toiletries. They need to do a better job cleaning common areas and ice machine in our building didn't work. We had the spa package and the way the credits are applied is not transparent at all. Their billing system needs to show the customer how the credits get applied. This was our first time coming to Lake Geneva, and we will definitely come back, but we won't stay here again. read more

This was a favorite place for us to co.e to. Seems to have changed some. No one seems to care about service, just getting your money. When checking in I had a gift card but couldn't remember how much was on it and couldn't check myself. The person checking me I said that it would be easier for me to just check when we check out in 2 days. We went to the Waterfront to listen to the band and have some drinks. Multiple waiters/waitresses did not acknowledge us. My husband had to go to the bar. When I finally gotten up to ask a waitress if we could start a tab she said it would probably be easier for us to go to the bar. Wow! The rooms are very clean and up to date, the only thing I can say is they can improve on their lighting in the rooms and bathrooms etc. We had dinner at the 240 restaurant and Nathaniel was such a great server. My mom can be a difficult patron and he was nothing short of amazing. The Food was all cooked perfectly, no complaints from our party of 6. Twice at the bars Carlos took care of us and it's kinda off crazy how he was able to take care of a conference they had going on plus us regular people . The resort is subpar. The front desk staff is below subpar, if you need anything besides a room card you are out of luck. We had to move rooms and I left an item in my room. They would not contact housekeeping but had me go to a third party website and fill out a form. We are home and I still have not heard from them. The hallways are hot, the AC hardly works. It is not a resort but maybe a step up from a chain hotel. It is not worth the price they charge per night. Also plan on walking the hallways a lot, nothing is close, one elevator, and it is not near any rooms. read more

My wife and I frequent the waterfront restaurant in the summer for a little treat and I've shot several weddings at The Abbey, so we are no strangers to the resort. This past weekend was our first stay at the resort however. I must say it exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the spa facilities were clean and relaxing. I do have to give a mention for one particular associate- Jasmin. We kept running into her at the restaurants (she must work a lot!). She was always bright and cheery, helpful and attentive. After a couple of run ins, she was very personable and always delightful. We couldn't tell you how pleasant she made our stay. Over all, we were very pleased with our stay and plan on coming back again for a little weekend getaway. The only reason I give it a 2 star is because of the location on the lake and walking proximity to Fontana. Been coming here for years and although it is a prominent fixture on LG - it is turning trashy with the vibe of a WI Dells waterpark hotel. We had 2 rooms over the 4th of July weekend and understand it is probably one their busiest weekends of the summer with back to back weddings and hotel at capacity. The check in was seamless and the girl who checked us in pleasant, however, the apparent (or so it seemed) manager - was NOT pleasant and overrode the girl checking us in on a couple of questions/requests - NO was the answer to both of my requests. The WORST part was the room was dirty upon arrival (toilet did not appear cleaned - greasy ring around toiler bowl) AND the 2nd night upon changing out room linens - the bedding was full of blood - see pictures!! Soooooo - if they were cleaned sheets - would one not "SEE' the blood splatter when changing out and putting on said blood splattered sheets? DISGUSTING! AND, once again the toilet/shower was not cleaned (same gross ring around bowl). The main common areas were not cleaned from previous evening (apparently no one comes in middle of night to clean up left over drinks/trash on tables or vacuuming floors with food and spills). I did get a refund for one of the night's accommodations - at the min this is barely acceptable since the rates were high and we had 2 rooms at premium rate for 3 nights. read more

Totally out of date and understaffed. Not the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. I got a facial and she didn't extract one thing out of my skin, which seemed like a rip off. The pool area is fine, but pretty crowded. They let you hang at the pool if your room isn't ready yet. We snuck in our own drinks and food into the pool area because everything was overpriced. This place is beautiful! But to have to spend a $150+ a night for them not to even have any microwaves on the property is absurd! I could go to a cheaper hotel for a full kitchen... So I'm not even able to even heat up any of my food. And they put about $100 charge on the room that we didn't know was a charge? We had to call and ask about the charge! So just be aware they charge you extra to be able to charge food/drinks to your room. The beds are super comfortable, the pillows are nice, and the theme of the room is very marine oriented and beautiful. Our room has a walk-in shower, a king size bed, a hideaway bed, and a large tv with a light bar above the top. The lights are a soft color too so they're not obnoxious. The shades are the best for us night shift people since they're black out curtains. They block out the light perfectly! The breakfast buffet is the better deal too so just a heads up there. $15 for all you can eat compared to an expensive menu?! Yes please! The staff is super friendly though so hence the 3/5 stars. You can tell they feel so guilty whenever you ask about anything and they have to tell you they no longer have something. read more

First and foremost, I love The Abbey and have many fond memories with family there and in the Fontana/Lake Geneva area over the years. However, the resort has really gone down over the past 5 years or so. From cleanliness (filthy bathroom floor), overall condition of facilities (awful saggy mattress), the spa (walls beaten up from carts, broken whirlpool, melting wall by sauna, dead outlets by blow dryers.. all without response from management). Service at the Waterfront is Fair at best. after waiting 10 minutes waiting for hostess to come, she sat a man who came after us, when we told her we had been waiting long before he arrived, her reply was, "it's not my problem" when clearly that is a hostesses job. The worst is two years in a row we have had AirPods go missing.. once from guest room and other from Spa. We tracked the devices via "find my device" and although they were recovered , both times it was determined that they were in possession of an Abbey employee. who "found" them. We involved the police. I hate to bash the place but for the peak season prices and over all spa prices I expect better. I also want to warn people to keep their belongings safe. read more

I stayed here for one night and it was fine. The layout is a bit odd and the rooms are somewhat outdated and small. It has very nice amenities including an indoor pool, arcade, two restaurants, a coffee shop, and a movie theater. read more

My husband and I have been coming to the Abbey 2-3x a year for nearly ten years. it's our happy place, or it used to be. We stayed this past weekend and we couldn't believe it was the same place. The service at The Waterfront was horrible. Both days we didn't get what we ordered, the menu was greatly reduced and when I asked for a seasonal cocktail menu (something they've always had in the past) I was given a torn piece from a previous paper menu. We waited forever after our dinner to order dessert, and when the server finally came back, she THREW the check at us (we hadn't asked for it.) We were there to see the house band- instead there was a different band, definitely a disappointment. The games were gone from the game room, there were no hair dryers in the rooms. We've become used to seeing the same friendly staff members; this time we didn't see anyone we recognized. No more s'mores by the bonfire, either. You guys took away everything that made it special, and that's pretty sad for us. Guess we'll have to find a new happy place. read more

If I could give this resort zero stars I would. I began having problems before I ever stepped foot on their grounds. My sorority sisters and I selected the Abby to celebrate our 20th anniversary. However, Abby staff made many aspects of our stay frustrating, were inhospitable and ultimately, allowed valuables to be stolen from us. To begin, I attempted to secure spa services; however, after calling for 3 days consistently, the spa never answered my phone calls, making it impossible for me to secure services. Upon my arrival, I sat and watched a spa staff member let the phone ring, ignoring incoming calls for no apparent reason. Because of this, I was unable to receive spa services at all. Next, I'd made reservations for 14 at 240 West for the Friday night surf and turf special. As soon as our party was seated, we were told that the surf and turf special was not available, even as we watched other patrons being served the surf and turf special. It was not until I lodged a complaint with management that the surf and turf magically became available to us again. On our last day at the resort, we had reservations for the champagne brunch. When we arrived, the staff tried to seat us separately. We had to argue with management to provide accommodations for our party, even with an existing reservation in place. Very disappointing. Finally, as we ate brunch, we had secured our bags with hotel staff. When we went to retrieve our bags, my sister found that someone from the Abby staff had stolen her Gucci purse from her bag. Management was less than concerned and showed no sense of urgency regarding the theft of such an expensive purse. While they went through the motions, they showed absolutely no concern. They refused to review camera footage to identify which of their staff committed the theft, which could've been easily discovered. Don't stay here! read more

These people are thieves! The bell hop came to our room to get our belongings. We asked him if he could take our belongings to the exit near the Waterfront restaurant-where our vehicle was parked. Instead he took our belongings to the main lobby. When we confronted him in the lobby after waiting for him near the exit by our vehicle-he seemed confused. We were rushing trying to get to brunch-so we decided to house our belongings in the bell hop room near the main lobby. One of the guest services individuals provided a ticket and took our belongings to the bell hop room. Upon return of getting our belongings and going to our vehicle-I looked in my bag and my small Gucci purse was missing. The staff seemed unbothered and the manager seemed to be going through the motions. I was advised to make a police report. i had called and spoke with Ann in sales in June of 2025 for a wedding party block for August of 2026. I was told it would be no problem, but they couldn't do anything about it until a year out cause that is how the system works. didnt hear anything back when a year out came around and emailed Ann several times with no answer. Called her and found out she went on a medical leave, and that Karen was the one to call. I called her, and she would act like i was such an inconvenience and never called me back to complete everything. Finally, got a new girl Nicole to call me back in September, and i was told two of the days i needed are all good, but Thursday was now sold out. WTF. She said her manager would call back the next day. Dan the GM called back and told me they would not be taking my rooming block cause i was having my party on a gage marine boat and not at the abbey. MONTHS AND MONTHS OF LIES AND I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR THE BOAT. DAN IS AN ABSOLUTE MORON WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HIM. TRASH PLACE DONT SPEND A DIME HERE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU, IF YOU DONT SPEND 1 MILLION FOR YOUR WEDDING THERE. read more
