**December 2025: Sunday Late Morning Visit**…read more My friend and I finished our breakfast early and we still had time before our event so we decided to check out a thrift shop nearby. The Council Shop- Burbank was close by so we opted to make a detour. The shop is located right along the major street, but we lucked out with street parking right in front. The shop had a good variety of pretty much everything. There was a small/medium size area of men's clothing, home goods, and decor, while the store had a very robust selection of women's clothing. Many things were categorize with certain pricing; however, there were some items that were individually priced. I bought a pair of black suede made in Italy boots (which I loved) for $25 and a new with tags swimsuit for $11. I thin the quality of the donations they accept seem pretty high so the next time I come back to Burbank I'd be open to drop in again!

A super duper cool and quirky shop! Everything is time travel themed: past, present, and future!…read moreWhen you visit, you can park on the streets, but be mindful of the signs. You can also download the park smarter app to pay for parking online. The storefront is very impressive. There are aliens, extraterrestrial themes, and 3D mind boggling designs. You come inside, and everything is already very quirky. You have robot emotions for sale, time travel in a bottle, space items, donuts from the 1800's and light coffee. You can also find dinosaur eggs, dinosaur milk, and more. Everything is super fun to look at and the items made me giggle out loud. The cashier was super friendly! He explained the theme of the shop and also added on how the books in the store were made by students. The store itself supports a nonprofit located in the back of the shop that tutors students. They ask for volunteers who can come to help support students. All proceeds also go to the students whom they support. We left with some postcards and warm, fuzzy feelings inside about how cool of an experience this was. Hope to be back! We might be from the past, present, or future. Who knows!

Just wanted to check it out and when I got in there, someone who was super friendly was behind the counter and we got to look around at some cool stuff. They also do other charity based activities here and I'm not sure if it's just one thing or a few but definitely come check it out. If I remember correctly, the one that I was thinking of helped out children.

Taraji P Henson, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande are a few more of the many celebs who donate to her shop. I thought that I'd have to pay hundreds but she has many things the celebs wore only once for $25! And the shop's mission is the best - items sold help support each stars' charity. How cool is that? What are you supposed to do with three dogs on a Sunday morning in LA when the weather is nice?…read moreWell, even though I just summed up almost every morning live here, the correct answer is take said dogs somewhere for some exercise and a nice walk. I've never heard of TreePeople and rarely want to venture into Beverly Hills but my wife was pretty stoked on checking this place out so that's exactly what we did. We showed up around 8:00AM and were lucky enough to snag a parking spot in the lot. The lot itself was pretty packed and clearly many other people had the same exact idea that we did. Once all three dogs were ready to go we enjoyed about 45 minutes of walking before the senior dogs needed to return and pass out in the back seat., fun I know. This area is super nice and has a bunch of different places to sit down on benches and get some amazing views of the city I call home. I'm not sure what the group was, but there was a big group of people being followed by a truck so at one point we had to jump on some stairs and get out of the way, not sure what was going on. The part we did was pretty much the entrance up a few small hills and over to a second bench area, but I'm definitely trying to come back here to hike the mountain at some point. Overall, this place was beautiful and definitely somewhere worth checking out if in the city. The trails I saw were clean and the place is clearly taken care of. I'll absolutely be back soon to hike the trails a bit more without my old dogs and I very much look forward to it.
