I was so excited to find this charming little gem. I thought the address might been botched or that…read morethe person who posted the listing must have somehow been wrong but a close look at the single photo and some snooping around was rewarded with a very generous Little Free Library and the sense that I had discovered a wonderful, little know piece of Claremont. I was so excited after failing and then eventually finding this LFL that I took a few photos that would make it's location more clear. But once I thought about it I realized that the hunt and the eventual success were the most fun elements of the process. So I'll give no more hints than this. The address is correct and the photo is accurate. The selection was a bit thin and there is an unusual amount of room inside this LFL so if your bookshelves are bulging with items you've already enjoyed here's your chance to make someone's day! Go. Elegantly simple, rugged and with a beautifully designed latch, I was tickled to find it. It was packed full of so much interesting reading material that I took a couple home. But I realized that I had a book that I'd recently finished in the car with me so I made a deposit too. So....if you wind up here and stumble across a book about a woman who grew up privileged in Liberia before the revolution, TAKE IT! It's a heart breaker but it's an awesome read.

Well, the other day a friend and I went another route and when we turned the corner of Rippey Street there is the sweetest little memorial dedicated to Cheryl. It's called Cheryl's Corner. Cheryl's Corner has a little library built into the theme taken from "The Little Library Organization" This was taken from information I found: Cheryl was an avid reader and a wonderful person. This Corner is dedicated to her. You are welcome to stop by here any time to relax, share conversation, read a book or magazine, exchange a book, or even drink some lemonade from our trees.
