It boasted several quotes on its doors and 'book holiday ornaments' made from book pages within it. It even had a string of led lights on it's roof! I liked their early 30's - 40's assortment, heavy on children's, parenting, and marriage books and the space seemed really well taken care of - nice to find after another nearby listed LFL was gone when we dropped by. But apparently it's the new big thing. Hundreds of small exchange stations to encourage reading now that many of the big bookstores are gone, ways of interacting with your neighbors. And best of all? Free books! I am and have been for most of my life an avid reader. In the last few years after graduating I've switched to mostly digital in an attempt to clear out the massive boxes of books needing to be moved each time I relocate. So I adore the concept of take a book, leave a book. No more physical copies needing to be moved. I can pass my pages along and pick up a new weekend read in the process. I love that they're small and unobtrusive, but can fit quite a few books within their walls. Makes my life easy and keeps the honey reading. I love the Little Free Library!

Anyone can take or leave a book and best of all, it's free and you can return the book whenever you want. Not only that but also it's almost always a different selection of books every time I pass by. I've been lucky enough to have picked up Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist, a couple Chuck Palahnuik novels, and a bunch of other great reads in the short year or so that it's been there. It really makes up for the fact that SJSU's library is all the way on the other side of campus especially when I just want to casually pick up a book to read in my free time.

I happened upon this Little Free Library during one of my runs. I was so excited about it that I…read moregrabbed a book even though I still had a couple miles of running back to do. It was definitely worth it. This Little Free Library is located in a very safe, beautiful, and friendly neighborhood. It is easily accessible right next to the sidewalk. There's a cute little bag hook available to hang your bag when returning or grabbing a book or two. The book box is cute and kept full. I was so glad to happen upon this library because I think it is so important for people to have access to hard copy books. This is a great way to share your favorite books with others. Hopefully people will be able to experience the same emotions as you and appreciate the book as much as you do. I will definitely be back multiple times to check out what books are available as well as share some of my favorites.

This beautiful little free library is conveniently located near the park. While walking to the…read morepark, children can also grab a book or read one while taking a break from playing. Not only can kids visit this little library, but their older sisters, brothers, and parents can too. This little library is separated into two parts, the bottom shelf being kids books and the top being novels and longer reads intended for an older crowd. For those who don't know how the little free library works, it's basically kind of like a big bird house. Except instead of housing birds, it houses about two or so rows of books. The rule is: you take a book? You should leave a book. Judging by how stocked this library is, it seems that the neighborhood definitely does its part of being fair and following that rule which is awesome! There is also info you can find online on how to find these hidden gems in your neighborhood.
