I will never go back here, for a few reasons. To begin, one of the first visits we ever made, one…read moreof the vets yelled at my husband. We were in the waiting room, with our 65lb puppy, and he was very excited and just wanted to say hello to everyone. We let him say his hellos and then he was told to sit and stay. When giving our dogs commands we use a more firm tone of voice as most people do, the vet yelled across the room telling my husband not to yell at our dog. In a room full of people this was obviously uncalled for and it embarrassed him as well. That was the first thing that ticked us off. Every time we brought our dogs in here, they load them up on goldfish, cool whip, squeeze cheese, you name it. They always come home with diarrhea. I get it, you're trying to keep them distracted, but if you're giving vaccinations properly you shouldn't need to keep a constant flow of terrible foods going to keep them distracted. And if you don't know what you're doing and you do need to distract them, use dog treats so that my dogs don't come home with upset tummies and the squirts. Another thing, this office ALWAYS quoted me at least 80-150 dollars less than the bill ended up being. I asked approximately how much my dogs neuter was going to be, everything included, and they quoted me at $300. My husband went to pick up our pup and pay the bill and it was over $500. Shouldn't you have set prices for these things? So that you can give ACCURATE quotes? Before anybody asks, "well why did you keep going?" I've read terrible reviews about nearly all of the nearby veterinary clinics, and since we started both of our dogs vaccines here I just rode it out and decided to finish their vaccines here. Now that they're finished for at least a year or so, we'll never go back there. To say the least, I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone unless you're willing to pay more than normal, get judged by the staff, and have puppies with upset stomachs because they feed them a ton of terrible shit while they're getting vaccinated, nails clipped, ears cleaned, etc. I'd also like to add I have NEVER written a review on any app, anywhere, but that's how irritated I was with this place. I actually took time out of my day to let everyone know how much this place sucks. If you've read this far, I applaud you.

It's really unfortunate that an animal loving facility would have such poor customer service you don't want to go back.

What an absolutely amazing veterinary practice that keeps our canine friends happy and healthy,…read moresometimes despite their own best efforts. Every member of the staff is not only an animal lover, but also trustworthy in their work and with their treatment options. We have never felt pressured to buy anything, while at the same time we feel comfortable with just about anything recommended during our visits there. The staff have our best interests in mind, and it shows during every appointment. We are just incredibly fortunate to have access to such top notch and trustworthy care for our pets, and the resulting peace of mind is just about priceless.

We ended up switching vets in April after an unrelated, yet also extremely negative, experience at Black Creek. Upon my GSD's first exam at the new vet on August 10, we had to schedule oral surgery. On August 18, THE NEW VET HAD TO EXTRACT 15 TEETH due to the level of decay, lesions, and bone loss that Dr. Hamblin COMPLETELY missed. I literally cried on the phone post-surgery with the new vet, as I could not comprehend how that level of tooth decay was missed in not only ONE , but TWO yearly "well checks", by Dr. Hamblin. Save yourself the heartache and do not confuse a pleasant bedside manner with a vet so egregious that she overlooked a condition this significant entirely. TWICE.
