this is the worst center my child has ever attended. Tanassa and all of her staff are so unprofessional. the owner needs to reevaluate the whole center and hire new people from the ground up. First I will say that the location is nice and set as a school setting! However, everything else of HORRIBLE! They don't know how to communicate correctly or properly and have NO patience for children! They quick to point fingers at the kids and family verses the staff and taken accountability! They are also good at labeling a child as having behavior issues (this is toward an 2yrs old) and not willing to work with the child or family! Now don't get me wrong NOT all of the staff is like that but majority are. They have attitudes, they don't make you feel welcome and feel they do no wrong. They have their favorites! With that being said, they have released my grandson from their care stating that he has behavior issue, with I denied completely! Am I mad, no just disappointed! Now is he perfect no his not but behavior issues he don't have! They say they tried to work with him but in all honesty they haven't! They have transitioned the 2 yr olds from one location to another in less than 6 months twice! They have changed and added new staff and make drastic changes but want 2yr olds to adapt immediately! This is not my grandson first daycare but due to moving we had to change, however we never had any issues like this from the other school. Don't get me wrong he is not perfect at all far from it. It's just not fair at all to him or his mother/family. At this point if anyone has an issue with this review and if anyone calls or response it needs to be the OWNER and no one from the school and that includes Director/Assists Director etc, because they are all one sided and believe it's their way or no way! My daughters makes 2yrs with LGA in January, they love the staff and enjoy the activities they do for them. When it comes to learning they are on it. Love the daily photos I receive of my child with the activities they did for the day. Also, glad they offer transportation to school and back. I enrolled my 18 month old son last year and during the year he was there I had contemplated taking him out so many times. We scheduled a tour online and you receive an email confirming your scheduled tour. When we had oir tour we were told we couldn't go inside because of Covid which was understandable. I do have to say that everything they tell you and talk to you about does not match their actions once you enroll. You do not get updates unless you tell them to. The app they ask you to download is useless since it only shows when they sign your child in and out and who picks them up which sometimes they will still put me when my husband would sometimes pick up or drop off our son. Occasionally when they decide to update you or ask for updates. They absolutely do not let you see the cameras whatsoever even when asking multiple times. My son got bit 5 times while he was there and out of those 5 times they only informed me about the incident once. The other times the teachers did not know when and by who it happened. When asked to see the cameras you're ignored or never contacted about it. In a previous review I read that a child said they yell at the kids and that is true. There have been multiple times where you can hear them yelling at them when I've gone to pick up my son and I just hoped they did not yell at the little ones the same. My son would also come home with lots of bruises which I told myself could have been from playing around but my son does not get that many bruises from playing around at home or around other kids outside of daycare which made me worry that je might not be getting treated right because there was multiple times he did not want to go inside and my heart would break because I have no one to look after him when I have to go to work. My last straw was when he came home and a hand mark started to show on his arm. It was clear to me that it was an adult hand and as a mother I can say I felt like I had failed my child by making him stay there. I told the managers about it and they did seem to be very defensive but yet I knew they weren't going to look at the cameras or offer to show me for my piece of mind instead they say it was a kid. I didn't want to cause problems so I just left it at that but was trying to figure out how I would take my son out because I had to work and I knew nobody could watch him. We ended up taking him out when I had my twins because I was going to be off work but how do I regret leaving him in there for so long after so many red flags. Never ever will I put my children in a daycare that doesn't update you on your children throughout the day and don't have access to their cameras for you to see. My babies have been attending the center for about 6 months now and have learned so much in such little time, I don't know how I could have put them in a different center but I am thankful that I came across Little Geniuses Academy when I did. When looking for a daycare for my daughter, I needed to find one that I knew will feel safe for her and somewhere close to me and my husband's workplaces. I was a stay at home mom for 5 years and because it was already summertime and I had no one to care for her, I had to make sure I knew she would be taken care of. My daughter started in July. It was hard for me because I was trusting people I barely knew with my little girl. With everything you hear in the news, you have those questions as parents. "Will my baby be safe here?" or "Will they take care of her and make sure she has what she needs?" And I had to do the same when she first started kindergarten. And they do everything As time goes on, my daughter loves it. They take such great care of her and she loves that they go somewhere weekly. I love that they keep screens away so kids can enjoy life away from technology and be a kid. My daughter loves all the friends she has made and I love how the bigger kids take care of her too. I will definitely give Little Geniuses Academy recommendations to anyone who has asked. I will tell them it's worth every penny because you know your child is okay and taken care of. read more

From the convenience of location, operating hours, cleanliness, to the curriculum set in place to get my little one school ready, to the welcoming and understanding attitudes of the staff members-there isn't a negative thing to say. I called to get information about this facility to enroll my three year old. I would expect someone other than the "teacher" who by the way had a child in distress to answer the phone. She answered and cut me off in a really ugly way. She asked for my info to call me back. By the way she's also the director. So I don't know if it's only one person working there. Im still in shock. You would expect that she had someone there who could answer the phones and not send you through a tube. And my last concern if she was the teacher and the director and had a child overwhelmed and answering phones. Who was taking care of the other children?? read more

My babies started attending this daycare in June of 21'. The words in values that were told to me when they started didn't match the actions that we have been receiving. My 18 month old did not receive any daily updates. They tried to force her off her pacifier in the 1st week. Not to mention coming home with dry diapers. My 4yr old was being mistreated. He came home with a bruise. In when I spoke with the director Ms Joseph I did not get an apology only a respond that she would look at the camera in get back to me. I had to reach back out to them about the incident. Then when I ask to see the footage I was told u can't see it clearly. This was the final straw for me. There communication is horrible with a defensive attitude. Especially Ms. Tasha. Poor children care. My oldest said They yell at the kids. currently looking for a daycare for my little ones, this one got my attention, so I scheduled a tour on their website, we went the next day on our scheduled time and the director looked like she didn't even know she had a tour scheduled.. she told us they were not doing tours due to covid, but that they also do not let the parents in the classrooms or inside, the price was not bad for two kids under 3yrs.. but it seemed a little fishy, she began to tell us children could not wear crocs to the location but she herself had some on, she explained how it was dangerous and a distraction for the children, so I then asked her, "do you ever step inside the actual classrooms" because I seen she had the same shoes she was saying children couldn't wear due to danger and distraction she first told me no, which was weird because as a director you should always be involved then she said yes she does step inside the classrooms after I began saying it was weird if she was wearing them and they were a danger or she must not be involved with her children's learning. Parents aren't allowed to walk in and pick their child up, you must call when you 3 minutes away and they will bring your child out, parents are also not allowed to look at camera footage.. this place was very weird. read more

This was the first Childcare facility I enrolled my child in and from the first day my daughter loved the kids and her teachers. The owners are very dependable and understanding of situations. I feel 100% secure that my child will be safe and will have learn to the best of her abilities here. My child remains clean and returns the way I left her besides fun residue. They let the kids be outside all day just screaming their heads off. They clearly aren't too concerned about the children or they would see why they are screaming for hours or they would tell them to stop. They should teach them anyway to not scream like that unless it's an emergency. read more
