I've given this place two tries now and had really high hopes given how famous and highly rated they are, but have been surprisingly let down both times. First time I came I ordered a mango lassi and the chicken tikka masala level 2. Mango lassi was really good but the chicken tikka masala was just okay, not super flavorful, not spicy whatsoever. We also got a side of garlic naan, which was really good. My friend got chicken tandoori which I thought was also fairly good but my friend said she preferred the tandoori elsewhere. She thought it wasn't spicy for a medium and the veggies didn't taste good, kind of raw despite being cooked. Second time I came I ordered the butter chicken with a higher spice level (4) hoping it would add flavor. Same thing, wasn't super flavorful, just okay, weirdly forgettable. My friends got the assorted snacks appetizer, lamb coconut kurma and malai kofta. The coconut kurma was definitely more on the creamy/sweet side, was ok but relatively bland. The bite of malai kofta I had was pretty good but not remarkable, and again my friend said she preferred it elsewhere. The sauces between the three entrees were all somewhat similar and honestly hard to differentiate. Their garlic naan and strawberry lassi however were great! Service is definitely top notch, very professional and attentive. Ambiance is really cool, the artwork on the walls is amazing and it really does kind of transport you to India in a small way. I'm willing to give this place another try and am hoping I'm just ordering the wrong things. Everything else other than the entrees has been great! There were 4 of us seated. A waiter walked by us with several glasses full of water which ended up spilled all over our table and mostly in my lap. No one, not one waiter came back to our table to wipe up the flood of water on all 4 of us. (Mostly on me) I had to go to the kitchen and get a rag and bucket to clean our table and floor under our feet. Not even one waiter came to help. When we were finally able to order I gave them the bucket with a couple of inches of water from ringing out the rag. Not even a sorry or a thank you. Of course it was hard to enjoy the food when we were all soaking wet. We were appalled with the service. read more

Little India is truly one of the best restaurants! I love that they opened this location, as it's closer to home. We came on a Saturday night at 6 PM and were seated right away. The service was great, as always. We started with the samosas, which were absolutely delicious. I love the dipping sauces as well because they have so much flavor. I ordered the tikka masala, spice level four, which was absolutely delicious. The spice level was perfect, the chicken was tender, and the sauce was heavenly. I swear I could drink it! The garlic naan was also great and I love dipping it in the sauce. Every time I come here, I'm always reminded how amazing it is. Looking forward to coming back soon! read more

I was so happy to see the Little India location in highland was open! We ordered take out right through the Yelp app and it was ready quickly. They had it ready as I walked in the door. Very friendly service and nice interior decor. I'll have to come back and eat in! They gave us some extra naan too! The food is so yummy and the meat so tender. Naan is larger and thinner than some restaurants, and I like it. The prices seem high but you really get a lot of high quality food for your money. One serving lasts me two meals. Love the leftovers! Great sit-down place right in Highland. Definitely recommend! read more

The staff was pleasant and very quick with preparing our meal. The only knock was there were no bone-in options and I found that very odd. The food and the ambiance were both excellent, but the real surprise was the level of attention and expertise from all the employees. We had so many people quickly check on us and make sure everything was ok. I honestly have never had such good dining service, short of restaurants that cost 5X more. We've enjoyed Little India in American Fork for about 2 years and were excited to hear it would be opening in Highland. We went there on Thursday and it was every bit as good as the American Fork location. The building used to be Blue Lemon and it was entirely remodeled and is great! We had the Chicken Makhani and the Rogan Josh lamb. Both were excellent. You have you choice of spice levels - mild, medium, hot and extra hot. We usually go for the "medium". Each entree comes with a large portion of delicious rice. We also had garlic naan and the Little India lime drink - delicious! I wish I had remembered to have the cucumber raita. We will certainly be back. Be sure to give it a try - you'll enjoy it! read more

This place is SO good. We have been going to the one in American Fork for a while, and we were thrilled that this one opened closer to us. The paneer masala is our favorite! The service at this one exceeded the service at the AF one in our opinion. We often felt rushed and constantly disturbed at AF--so many water refills, every few minutes! At this one, they gave us a bottle of water so we could refill on our own, and they checked in on us, but not too often.
