We popped in to their new spot. It was a flavorful delight- every thing was fantastic- service was nice, food great, nice and clean - only draw back was the hot tea. With such fun options- I wasn't expecting a tea bag. Everything else was beyond great!! Will be back

I've only been once, but the food was great. The space used to be the Farnam Brewery, and still looks and feels the same. I liked that the garlic naan unlike some places is super galicky. They don't have a ton of staff, so it could take a bit to get your food, but totally worth the wait.

This place is amazing, reminds me of my favorite Indian place in Austin, TX. The atmosphere is trendy and the vibe is really chill. Can't go wrong with any of the curries and the Nan bread is really good! The price is also budget friendly. I'll definitely be coming back again.

    Masala and butter naan.

Authentic Indian restaurant and great food. Owner/bartender was very nice and gave us great conversation and recommendations. They have live music and events--although I have not been yet, it seems great. Had the butter naan and masala and it was very solid. Good flavor and portions.

We HIGHLY recommend Little India Restaurant in the Blackstone area, at 3582 Farnam Street in Omaha. It's SUPERB! (Formerly Taste of India, the popular little restaurant on the corner of 35th & Leavenworth for years.) We went to their new location and the food was absolutely fantastic! I had the Veg Korma, (Vegan) and Mark had the Veg. Jalfrezi. Both were served with Appa's Yellow Rice. Instead of our usual Naan bread, we tried the Garlic Roti and 2 pieces of Kerala Paratha. The Kerala Paratha is a buttery, filo-type bread, with the texture of the best croissant you ever tasted. Everything was fantastic, spiced and cooked to perfection! Our server, Joshy, was quick to help by pointing out the healthiest options. The new location has easy parking in their lot right by the back entrance. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic with beautiful lighting and a good choice of seating at different tables and booths. Little India is a great family-owned business, and its new location can accommodate a lot more people and groups. The menu has something for everyone, vegans, vegetarians, meat and seafood consumers, and the options are clearly indicated on the menu. You can get take-out, also! The Little India Restaurant is the real deal. Authentic Indian food, and nice people, too!

Incredibly slow service, went here mid day to pick up an order. Other people couldn't even get their check to leave.

We ended up being there for happy hour so we ordered a few drinks. I had the mango mule and it was delicious and refreshing. For appetizers we ordered vegetable samosas which were tasty. For entrees we ordered the Salmon Madrasi, Chana Masala, and chicken masala. These dishes did not disappoint as they were each flavorful in their own way. The service was amazing. The waitress was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend!

The menu I received was a bit differently presented than the one online and was an odd read; it seemed to be trying to organize into themes of how dishes were cooked rather than their contents. But it was actually a bit challenging to find the staple dish I ordered, channa masala, as it was in tiny text under the wok section. I might rethink the menu design. There were some fairly detailed descriptions regarding special dietary needs. Service wasn't quite on point, as our server kept offering us a choice of salad that they did not have, and I ordered a chai and didn't get it (I was stuffed regardless). Substantively, however, the result was excellent. Their samosas specifically state they're made with red potatoes, and it feels like a bit of a local flavor twist on the classic (and indeed, despite their ubiquity in Indian cuisine, potatoes are of course an American plant). My channa masala had a robust flavor mix with visible whole spices and the chickpeas were relatively al dente and paired well with bread. There were other options, but their rendition of classics made for an enjoyable night.

The only thing they got right? The Coke -- perfectly chilled. Everything else was disappointing. The rice tasted stale, like it had been sitting around way too long. The butter chicken had zero flavor -- no seasoning, no depth, just bland sauce with what looked like a few boiled chunks of chicken thrown in. For something labeled "spicy," there was absolutely no heat. The naan was just okay, but definitely not "butter naan." Dry, no butter, nothing special. This felt like the bare minimum effort across the board. Would not order again.

We planned on using the drive thru, but it looked like there was only one window for both ordering and pickup. The menu outside the window showed very limited offerings so we went inside instead. Our order was taken quickly by friendly counter staff and came quickly too. The problem I had was the very uncomfortable seating. There were bar stools at narrow counters along two walls. I ended up sitting on the edge of the seat because it was impossible to get on it. I think next time we will call in our order for pick up and eat it at home.
