We had Indian food from Peri Peri Catering at five wedding events over two days. Everything was…read moreoutstanding. We were very impressed. If you're looking for Indian catering in the Atlanta area, I don't see how can it get much better than this. Peri Peri excelled not only at food quality and taste, but also at menu variety and service. Four of the events each had hundreds of guests and the staff did a great job keeping stations stocked, churning out delicious food, and generally staying on top of things. The events Peri Peri catered, that we attended, were the pellikoduku, sangeet/mendhi, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding reception. Except for the pellikoduku, these were large-scale events at nice Atlanta venues (42West, The Starling). All of the food was vegetarian and served buffet-style. As meat-eaters, my wife and I enjoyed the food so much that we didn't miss eating meat. Also, I took a bunch of leftovers home from the pellikoduku, ate Peri Peri every night for the following week, and didn't get sick of it. Peri Peri's versatility showed in regions and types (e.g., street food, traditional, modern, and formal/upscale) of cuisine served. There was also Indian Chinese food and fusion food, like Indian Italian (pizza). Our favorite dish was the pav bhaji (sandwiches). A lot of the stations, such as the pav bhaji and dosa (crepe) stations, were staffed. The foods from the staffed stations were cooked and served hot and fresh. Some of the smaller items, like at cocktail hour, were presented beautifully. There were Indian dishes I'd never eaten before and also Indian food served in ways I'd never seen before. The desserts were yummy. Probably what was most impressive was the food was on par with some of the best Indian restaurants we've been to, but served in massive quantities.
