When I landed at the Newark airport this afternoon, it was extremely cold and windy (it was about 15 degrees F). I called them---I was told the shuttle would be there within 5 minutes. When the shuttle didn't come even after I waited in the freezing cold for 15 min, I called them and the shuttle came within 1 min. I asked the driver---he said he was given confusing direction. When I reached their lot, I asked about the delay. The guy asked back "how long did it take for you to come here from the airport?" I said 10-15 min. He said "Then why are you complaining about?" I said I am complaining because he himself said earlier that the shuttle would be there in 5 min and because it was very cold. He won't listen---he kept saying that it takes 10-15 minutes for the shuttle to go from the parking lot to airport. After a bit, he told me "Don't park here no more." I am very shocked at this experience. Probably they had a change of ownership. I will park elsewhere in future. If you are reading this, please consider doing the same. They have a sign inside saying that customers can get a discount next time for leaving a 5-star review on Google.

It's fine, but make sure to pick up your car before it closes or else your car will be locked overnight. This is insane, many many people have been locked out. As you can imagine it was ORGANIZED CHAOS, with so many athletes competing the officials kept everything running like a well oiled machine from registering the athletes for their respective events to the actual events taking place. So many different events taking place it easy to zoom in on one particular event you may enjoy. I was amazed by my grandson's events but found myself watching the pole vaulting events. If you are there for a gym membership, it's closed to you Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from December through March. Even when it's open to you, expect a lot of broken machines. No one on staff actually does repairs. Only 1 of the 3 elliptical machines is fully functional. Many of the exercise bikes don't work. Many of the treadmills are very old or don't work. Have heard that the machines were 2nd hand to begin with. Now imagine them with no maintenance. The staff doesn't reinforce proper workout clothes so expect to see many senior citizens in jeans and flannel shirts. Also, only a small fraction of the gym members actually clean off the machines when they are done. Parking is abused. At 6:50am, many spots are already taken up in the parking lot while it's relatively empty inside. Highlights of the parking lot is the random guy who uses its acoustics to play his trumpet.
