Came here for lunch and it was so good, I came back the next day, too! The inside is no frills - doesn't seem to have AC but they do have fans. There's a small bar and only a few tables. We came for lunch so we snagged a table. We were greeted immediately and directed to order through the computers. The gentleman working FOH walked us through how to order and took care of us as a server after we ordered. The two meals came with chips, red sauce, and green sauce. The red sauce was pretty plain but the green sauce was flavorful and fresh. The rice and beans were a little bit bland, but not bad. My friend got the muchwrap and I got birria tacos. This wasn't even my choice but a tag along and for great reason as to why I never was interested in this place. Friend got a cheese wrapped burrito for us to split and added shrimp and chicken tinga. The rice was still hard the beans were not seasoned and the shrimp was rubbery. No kind of seasoning that I could taste although the chicken was moist. The cheese wrap really had no wow factor just an extra thing for visual effects I believe then a side order of guacamole in a small ramekin was 3 dollars I know places that sell delicious tacos for that price. They did have some kind of habanero sauce which was the only thing with flavor. I rather got to chipotle and get a burrito and save some money and know what I'd be getting. Friend swears the by the birria but I won't be racing here. UE was having a BOGO on nachos and I was having a craving sooo...UE to the rescue. I got the BOGO small nacho box, one with chicken and the other with steak. I also ordered a side of guac for $2. The nachos were crispy, slightly warmer than room temp, and covered in gooey goodness (mix of cheese, sour cream, chipotle aioli, & queso), scallions, tomatoes, and jalapeño. This taco truck came out the my apartment complex. It was a nice little treat on a Wednesday afternoon. The management office had them come out and provided a discount code so all the residents could get $5.00 off. Menu is small with what you would expect from a taco truck. They had a QR code to scan that took you right to their website for mobile ordering. The process was easy and you could pay online. I don't think you could pay in cash even if you wanted. I ordered one chicken taco and two carne asada street tacos. Food was prepared in just a few minutes. I got a text notification when my Order was ready so I didn't need to stay by the truck. All the tocos were very good. I didn't get anything to drink since I was close to home and had plenty there to drink. Prices ran around 6-7 dollars per taco so the discount code pretty much paid for 1 of them. Tasty food and I would get it again if it was back in my area. After a lovely event my husband and I attended together , we decided to stop by for tacos on our way home . I had been craving tacos all week and I felt like obeying my taste buds in the moment. This particular taco spot wasn't too far from where we were so we decided to give it a try. The location was a little suspect when we pulled up not gonna lie and I felt a tad bit nervous about going inside. I walked inside , no one said anything , there were a few customers there , not too many but enough to make me feel a little more comfortable. The restaurant seemed pretty decent nothing fancy. Very simple furniture, a bit worn . There were small bits of decor on the identifying it a Mexican food mom and pop type of spot. I could see some spills in the floor where the kitchen was located but probably because of all of the orders that were coming in from online orders. I could tell that this spot was prime for takeout and delivery. One after one a delivery driver came in to pick up an order . There large QR codes at the bar , I scanned it on my phone to look at the menu. There were self check out kiosks on the wall for ordering . Clearly this was a pick up and go takeout spot. I didn't notice the kiosks at first , but thankfully the regular customers who happened to come in , showed me the way lol I chose my food rather quickly as the menu was straight forward and well priced, ranging from $6 - $18 for single to combo street tacos of all kinds. My order was done rather quickly considering all of the delivery orders. I let them know that I would leave them a review and received complimentary empanadas as a thank you , which I greatly appreciated. My tacos were delicious, I ended up getting the carne asada street tacos and chicken tikka queso tacos. Both were very good , my husband and I enjoyed them. It generously came with sour cream, a chipotle dipping sauce, juicy limes, and a birria sauce well... didn't even have to ask. I love the fact that the QR code to the menu is everywhere , even in the sign outside, making the ability to order for takeout very accessible. My only recommendation is that they have someone to at least greet guests as they come in and be available to ask questions. My empanadas needed a little bit more flavor and I would also love to see more beverage options to choose. While my birria taco meal plus side of chips and guacamole were good, the food was overpriced and the order experience turned me off from eating there again. You have to order via Toasttab with their QR code rather than telling the employees your order and giving them your card. I've seen that done in food trucks before and is no big deal, but after I placed my order I waited in my car for 10 minutes past the allotted time. I walked back to the truck to check in on the order and it was ready. I had already driven home and finished the meal when I received the order ready notification text message. Insult to injury after paying $10 for chips and guac plus $18 for tacos that got soggy while I waited. I happened to be leaving the neighborhood at the same time as the food truck. The birria tacos were very disappointing i was expecting them to be how they usually are FULLL of meat(the pictures in doordash have a good amount), cilantro and a nice corn tortilla thats at least not stale and thin. Husband and I paid the 80$ for 6 tacos combined to get a taste from home and we got failed yet again. There was no salsa nor cilantro provided (i had to use my own)with the 100$ order. I recently had a birria taco craving and decided to stop by. We opted for the fiesta box for two, which comes with loaded fries, 4 beef birria tacos (with consume) and a burrito of your choice (we chose the birria burrito) and an elote. FYI: they moved form their old location to a stand-alone restaurant just one block further down. The good: The tacos were the best I've had all year as they were packed with flavor and the consume was even better. Even though the tacos were AMAZING my favorite of the night was the burrito. My only regret is that I didn't get two. The meh: the elote was alright although it could've been good (and dare I say great) if it had more of the "dressing". Im not sure why everyone decides to put a small scoop of the delicious mayo/seasoning mix only on the top, I personally would prefer for it to already be premixed to ensure that there's in fact enough of it and to ensure optional deliciousness. Though the tacos were average to good, they were not great or the best I've ever had. The tacos were very fresh tasting which I like. But they were lacking the flavor of a really good taco. Ordered this for delivery from Uber eats. Overall the food is decent. I ordered the carne asada fries, birria steak and cheese, with sides of salsa. This place seemed very promising, but with the couple of missing pieces and lack of attention to detail I probably won't order from them again. Birria Steak and Cheese: I was starving so I ate half before taking the photo. The entree is described as having onions, cheese, cilantro, and chipotle sauce. As you can see there really wasn't any onions or cilantro. I paid for added guacamole which also wasn't included, however I did get my refund. I requested the sauce on the side so that it did not get soggy. It was decent, definitely missing the refreshing balance of cilantro or onions. It just feels too heavy and salty, unfortunately not anything special. I included a photo of how it's described and shown. Obviously I don't anticipate my food (especially when delivered) to be just as shown, but this is to show the description and what's clearly missing. This was also missing the side of beef consommé as described by the Uber Eats menu. However I did receive the sides of salsa I requested. Carne Asada Fries: This hit the Mark a little more. Since there isn't a Yelp for their taco truck I'll just review this on their main page. Stopped here on a trip to the Towson area where their truck was set up. My main concern is that there isn't an option to do online ordering for the food truck so you have to go and stand in line for 20-30 minutes depending how busy they are. Definitely need to have online ordering ON. Ordered 3 carne asada tacos, along with an order of the street corn. The steak was good - very tender - and the sauce was good. I also really liked the taco shells themselves. The street corn was okay - the corn kernels were somewhat wilted and didn't look too good - but the sauce and cheese was very good.
