Anastasia was so kind and patient and helped me pull everything together. I had already purchased the main gift elsewhere and was second-guessing myself, and she reassured me that I had made a beautiful choice. This was so different than the experience I had just walked away from. She walked me through the bows, socks, toys so patiently and somehow made my shopping panic feel happy. Please notice this is a store for NO REFUND, think well before you buy. Very poor quality clothing, they bought the stuff from China and sell them for 6X price for what it's originally priced at. The manager told me "This is my store, I CAN SELL IT AT WHATEVER PRICE I WANT. I CAN SELL AT $100" It's priced at 98 Chinese yuan, which is about $11+, and they sell this for $59+ tax, with same clothes sell for different prices, girls patterns are pricier. And if you know a bit about shopping environment in China, the merchandise always sell at a lower price compared to what they put on the tag. For this piece, even on the tag the original price was only $11+, they sell at 6X the price. The altitude was also really bad. If you walked in you won't be able to see the price tags anymore. No. While for sure the nicest items in the Beverly Hills vicinity, I always regret shopping here for their lack of customer service and constant price changes. It's a great store solely if you're in a bind for an outfit. Do not gift from here. The recipient will have 15 days from date of purchase and the policy is essentially nonexistent. Let me elaborate. Item prices change based on the salesperson. What you were quoted yesterday can be doubled and their tactic is always, "that salesperson was wrong." It's all so uncomfortable. Further, almost 80% of the store is on sale meaning final sale. My daughter walked in with her grandfather a couple weeks ago and picked a very expensive kids handbag for $60, with a beaded handle. Less than a week later, the handle on her bag fell apart as she was holding it, with the beads scattering all over the place. She was obviously extremely disappointed and upset, but more than that, this is a serious chocking hazard for a kids toy and I caught her brother almost putting it in his mouth. When I walked in to the store (for the second time, as the first time I was turned away because there was no manager present), I was told "this is not our problem" that it had happened, and that "we had it for a week" therefore it was not a quality issue. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation (which is a serious safety hazard in their part, god forbid my child would have chocked on this), no accountability. Just a bitchy attitude with zero interest in solving this. One very upset kid and a pissed off customer. The bag is very obviously a piece of crap with very poor quality. Went in to return a pair of boys pants, she pointed to the sign that said ONLY EXCHANGES We said but we bought in 2 days ago and nobody told us. By the way, we had the receipt Her response was well you should have looked at the sign more carefully. So we wanted to exchange the pants for a different size and we asked if she had it. I have to think some of the 5 star reviews here must be friends of the owner or something, based on our experience and the consistency with the negative reviews I see below. This store simply does not deliver the experience to justify its prices, and in fact has some pretty bad policies/service. We decided to buy a two-piece infant set that said it was on sale for $50. The two pieces were attached to each other on the rack not just as a display but for all the pairs. At every other baby store I shop at that means it's one price for the pair. We get to the checkout and it's $100 total not $50. I'm not sure why they'd attach them all like that if you have to buy them separately. We still bought it, but after further reflection decided it wasn't worth the price and went back to return, less than 24 hours later. Turns out, as others have complained about in these reviews, there are absolutely no returns for refund even within a day with receipt. I guess they have a sign or something, but they don't tell you out loud or anything when you make your purchase and we definitely didn't realize. Pretty bad policy if you ask me, and the worst I've experienced at any store. I know this place is locally owned and hasn't been around a super long time. I really hope they'll reconsider their approach for the sake of their store and parents who do want to get some nice things for their kids, under reasonable conditions. read more

Up until this weekend, I used to love shopping at this store with my daughter. However, we will not be going back. I had been browsing online looking for a cute dress for my daughter to wear for a specific event, and saw one I thought appropriate. The website advertised it at 30% off, as did the signs in the store. When I went to pay for it I wasn't looking at the card reader (I was distracted looking at my toddler who was attempting to run around), and just charged the card. When I realized the charge the next day, I called the store asking for a price adjustment as was told no. The website is supposedly run by a third party company and they applied the discount erroneously. I would have believed them, had they not had signs advertising the same discount all over the store. I spend thousands of dollars a year there in things for my daughter, but never again. The manager was extremely rude and condescending, and acted as if my request was absurd. Neiman's, Bloomingdale's, and even Nordstrom carry the same or similar brands, I will continue shopping there. Some small businesses don't seem to realize how valuable their customer base actually is. read more
