It shot the other woodshop class out of the god-forsaken waters! The instructors (Todd, Briana, and Cam) were incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable, generous, welcoming, fun, and funny as hell. Their communication skills were stellar. They offered us complimentary snacks and drinks during the breaks, and even gave us a measuring tape souvenir to take home. The studio is equipped with a wide variety of impressive woodworking tools, which the instructors clearly showed us how to safely and effectively operate. She had a step-by-step instruction printed out for us, and walked by to give individual instruction, and assistance. She would bring more paint/supplies to us as needed. Cost per person, was similar to a Paint & Sip you'd travel to in-studio, with a small out-of-area travel fee. Nasim brought all the supplies necessary for a successful event. I appreciated that the paint was water-based and easy to clean up (so we could avoid any fees with our Airbnb). A few logistical notes for anyone considering a mobile paint and sip experience: Consider wind when selecting a location for set up, the canvasses are not very heavy. Also note, that if you've attended in-person events in a studio that for this experience, Nasim was not painting alongside us (may have been unique to the space we had available), however the chance for individual instruction and assistance was a highlight for this more intimate experience.
