Super fun date night! Shout out to Rachel! She was so sweet and super helpful through out our whole class.

Amazing class! This was therapeutic and fun. Thanks for helping us find a new hobby, Hannah!

    Proof I was a customer

Very unprofessional establishment. Very bad experience. Rushed experience, told the attendant I wanted to make a vase and ended up with a dog bowl. They pretty much made my shape for me didn't get a full hands on experience. Plus now I want to pick up my items and they keep having excuses on why they're closed. Seems understaffed. I recommend looking into a better studio and don't waste your money on this overpriced under delivering experience.

Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday here with friends! Hannah did a great job teaching and guiding us through the activity. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Hannah was very clear with her instructions and was very patient. She definitely made it less intimidating as it was our first time working with a pottery wheel. We really enjoyed the class and look forward to picking up our finished pieces.

Rachel was an amazing host for my very first pottery session. My partner booked this class for my birthday and it was really easy to follow and super therapeutic. It made me want to take more classes here and improve! The space is also very peaceful and clean. Overall a 10/10 experience!

For years I've wanted to take a pottery class. Finally, for my 35th bday my husband made it happen. We walked in not knowing what to expect. Neida walked us through the process ever so patient and kindly. When we messed up and were quite grasping the concept she assisted us through every step. We love our pieces so much and can't wait to add them to the decor in our home. Thank you Neida and Pottery Studio 1!

Tammie, Kiki, and Jessel were all super nice and taught us how to make bowls on the spinning wheel. It was our first time and I'm really grateful to have Tammie's hands on help. I tried a pottery class in the past but really enjoyed this experience with all their help!

Came here for a birthday activity and had a lot of fun tapping into our creative side. One of us has 0 experience and the other has been years since. Hannah was our instructor and she was so sweet and helpful in the entire process! She also tried to make friendly connections with us students to make it a fun experience. She was a hoot. Kiki was also here teaching others but she'd pop over to help when needed as well. Highly recommend!

Another women mentions they have a class offering but realizes it was the wrong date. I glance around at the completely empty studio & then she says "The only other thing is I have a class I'm teaching in...7 minutes & it's completely empty so you could attend that & just do what you want..." Why would you not lead with that? She tells me it'll be $110. I pass because I'm not paying an exorbitant price if this is the service I can expect from them. To get started, you can use a pencil to draw, tracing paper for a printed design, stickers as stencils, or even lace for cool designs. After painting, you'll come back in a week to pick up the piece after they glaze it. A group of five of us came for a fun girls' day and spent about two-ish hours painting and gabbing. The staff were so nice in giving us a mini-orientation and even helping us out when we made the dreaded paint mistake! It's a great spot for friends, kids, a date, or a solo outing if you want to be creative. They have a complimentary parking lot, otherwise, there's metered parking and free street parking in the neighborhoods across Wilshire. Tips: - You can see their current inventory online and they can order you a specific piece if you give them a month's heads up. - For words or numbers, bring your own stickers. Otherwise, you can purchase theirs and they have lace for sale too. - Check out their Instagram for inspiration! - For the non-artistic types, I highly recommend printing out a design you want in advance. You can trace it directly on a plate or the like and then just paint it with colors (or pick something easy like an animal to paint). Have fun!

The Color Me Mine in Beverly Hills was open on a Monday, and so I trekked out here to indulge my inner child. My *very* first job was at a Color Me Mine in Valencia in 2000, and it delights me that the franchises still look very much like they did back in the day. This location is clean and mostly well-equipped (they didn't have squeeze bottles for writing), and it was easy and straightforward to get started. The staff were friendly and helpful. I chose a cereal bowl (believe me, though, I was very tempted by the more whimsical ceramic pieces, such as the cat jar and the, uh, "beakers" :P ), and while I didn't originally have a design in mind, I was inspired by the tile wall to paint an ocean theme. I spent a few very pleasant hours glazing my bowl. I added a small ceramic boat and asked the staff (writing it in the notes on my slip) to glue it in the middle of the bowl. It turned out SO cute. And I will absolutely toot my own horn with the excellent glaze work :) Hehe

When we arrived, they told me there is also a mandatory 18% gratuity. First, that is legally supposed to be disclosed clearly and in advance which it was not. The kids picked out their paint colors and then we found out that your location was out of (six) different colors that they wanted and they had to settle for less appealing options. The attendants were slow to replenish the paint and acted like it was an inconvenience, even though they were getting a "mandatory gratuity". They could have been nicer and more friendly. One of the colors they "replenished" was not the same color as we got at the beginning even though we asked for the same color # and the attendant even checked the # to make sure, and one of the kids ending up having two different colors of paint in one section of her ceramic piece that she was really disappointed about. When we asked the attendant how we could fix it, she said she didn't know and literally walked away mid-conversation to help someone else. She clearly did not care about our party once we sat down. My bill was almost $300 and the mandatory gratuity was $49.32 which was absolutely not worth the service we got. I doubt we would come back to your store since we never had this issue at Color Me Mine.
